We arrived at Ashley bed and breakfast and we were greeted by the owner who was the most kindest, friendliest and warm hearted person. My husband hurt his back the day before we arrived and the owner most kindly carried our case upstairs as well as allowing us to leave our luggage in our room earlier than the check in time. The family room had comfortable beds. The best i have slept in while staying away from home in a long time. The room decor is outdated, we all have different tastes but it is clean. The b&b is a 5 min walk to the shops and beach.

Highly recommend. Very good value and warm and friendly owners. Stayed with our dog for 2 night. Great Scottish breakfast. Parking is good. Rooms were very clean. Not far from Broughty Ferry high street and the train station.

Spent one night here for a family wedding. Great location close to family, price was very good. Room very clean and comfy and the breakfast was superb. Darren is a great host and can’t do enough for you. Will definitely recommend and will use as first choice next time we need to be in Dundee overnight.

Just back from a one week trip through Scotland. We were a group of 7 and stayed at the Ashley House for one night only, but everything was fine. Excellent breakfast and the owner is nice and friendly. The guesthouse is not close to the city centre, but we had cars and drove easily to the main attractions of Dundee.

Had an overnight stay at this Guest House and had a lovely time. Darren is a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a nice size and well kept. Breakfast is cooked to orderby Darren and is very nice Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you Darren for making both of us feel very welcome and hopefully see you again soon.

What an absolute gem this guest house is. The hospitality is second to none. Darren and Margaret were wonderful hosts. Just ask our two wee dogs. The room was so comfortable and clean and the breakfast was delicious. Amazing value. Loved it! We will return!

Ashley House is a rare find, Darren & Margeret are passionate about their business. Rooms were exceptionally clean and breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely recommend a stay here if visiting Dundee

We stayed here as part of a long tour of Scotland; we stayed in many locations, and I have to say that Ashley House was amongst the best. It is a loverly old house, and our hosts were very friendly and hospitable.

Stayed here for one night on our way back from England. Darren (host) couldn’t do enough for us. He was very friendly, kind enough to let us park our trailer in the driveway, and provided us with recommendations for local eateries. The room was far superior to what we were expecting for the price. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of space, everything was very clean, and it had a cozy relaxing feel to it. The breakfast was excellent and fueled us up well for the day! When we come back through Dundee we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this guest house for singles, couples, families, and business travelers.
