This hotel stay was amazing. Right from booking until check out, it was very smooth. While I was booking, I believe it was Keiran who helped me cancel and rebook with ease. We had the breakfast in the hotel which was good. But the location of this hotel is impressive everything is close by. All attractions, restaurants, bars, etc are close. Thank you Leonardo for this amazing experience. We will definitely look out for your other properties.
Abit small but great for the location, able to walk to tourist attractions easily.
Only concern was that my pyjamas was missing after the house cleaning, they misplaced my pants and I was unable to get it back. There was no compensation or anything done for it. The receptionist just told us sorry that they can't find it in their laundry pile.
Asked for non allergenic bedding which was provided, however one of the pillows was still feather down which I was not aware of until leaving ( as it was my partners pillow) Was very allergic with itchy eyes and sneezing. Which only developed after being in the room. Bit difficult to work the heating system.
Other factors were adequate. Housekeeping staff are very attentive. Breakfast lacked more vegetarian options for the hot breakfast such as mushrooms, vegetarian sausages.

This is not a 5 star hotel! I have to be honest, I have stayed in many 5 star hotels across Asia and to come to Scotland I had hoped for better. I booked this hotel for two nights with my daughter who is in her 20’s.
Check in was swift and the twin room we were allocated was basic and not very big. Our room overlooked the Usher Hall and Castle.
Breakfast the first morning was very disappointing. There is no buffet breakfast, only al a carte. You were to choose a starter eg. Porridge, overnight oats and then a main: full cooked breakfast, pancakes with bacon. However, all the food came together, which meant that if we’d eaten the yogurt first, the main courses would have been cold. I complained to two different servers and neither of them offered so much as an apology.
To use the One Spa, you have to have booked a spa room or pay extra…definitely not worth it. This should be included for all rooms.
Don’t book this hotel, there are many better hotels in Edinburgh for the same if not less money.
Very friendly and helpful staff, nice clean room ams perfect location. Also liked the range of games they had, we played giant dominoes, uno and table football!
I believe there are short staff... Check in and check out time is really Short (stay over in the room) You can check in after 3pm and check out before 11am.. room smelly maybe from the carpet. Toilet slightly dirty. Breakfast needs to add additional cost if you want or you can take their packages. Whatever it is, this is your call and you choose it. Don't compare too much. I hope management will do something for a better guest experience. Keep it up.
I made my booking through Trip.com, where it was clearly stated that an extra bed could be added to our room for an additional charge of £30 per night. However, upon our arrival at the hotel, we were informed that the room we had booked did not accommodate an extra bed. Furthermore, we were told that a three-person room would incur an additional charge of £40 per night.
The service is extremely terrible and I feel some kind of discrimination from some staff.
The hotel is conveniently located near the city centre so we were able to walk to most places which allowed us to save on taxi and bus rides. There are also supermarkets nearby and the kitchen was well-equipped which is great for a parent who has a toddler who is a fussy easter. I gave cleanliness a -1 because the rug was dusty and wasn't properly vaccummed, and another -1 for amenities because there were some parts of the apartment that were not well maintained e.g. the partition door was hard to close and we could not close it properly + a substantial part of the kitchen counter was chipped off.
I booked a hotel to see Edinburgh Castle, but the room was on the E floor, which was very short. The streetlight pole happened to be in front of the window. Although I could face the castle, the view was very poor. The facilities are old and the faucets are splashing everywhere. Moreover, there are very few sockets, the heating is useless, and the wind blows coldly. The winter in Edinburgh is unbearable.
Absolutely fantastic hotel. I've been going to Edinburgh for well over 30 years and stayed on this occasion for my 50th. I could not have picked a nicer place. Friendly family ran hotel, nothing too much trouble. Our room was just perfect. Huge room a very comfy bed and modern bathroom. The location is perfect, being right by Haymarket Train Station and the tram system. Believe me, I've stayed right in the centre and down Leith end but this location is perfect, close to the main centre but quiet enough of a night. Keep up the fabulous work, I'll be back.

CCANThe hotel location is very good, very close to Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street, it is a little far away from Royal Mile Street, but can be reached on foot, the town is very suitable for walking.
The hotel implements unmanned management, and you can open the door and the room door yourself according to the password you check in. We are a family of 5 staying with children and living suites. The rooms are large and clean and well-equipped. You can cook your own meals. Tableware and pots are fully equipped (but I do n’t see a microwave). We are accustomed to the British diet. The house even provides equipment such as vacuum cleaners and washing machines, which is in line with our home habits.
The price is slightly higher, but for the case of five of us, it is still a lot more cost-effective than booking two single rooms, especially it is really good to be able to cook by ourselves.
In particular, we need to remind everyone that the hotel will send you an email 7 days and 1 day before the check-in, which will contain the room number and password for the check-in. If you booked on Ctrip, because they may have booked through other channels, the reserved mailbox is not ours, we cannot receive the mail, we must contact Ctrip customer service one day in advance, get this information, and then Can stay. Because the apartment is unmanned, it will be inconvenient to communicate if there is a temporary problem.
GGuest UserMy recent hotel stay was a bit of a mixed experience. While the hotel was clean and well-equipped, there were several issues that detracted from my overall satisfaction.
Before arriving, I had communicated with the hotel via email and was told that they could be reached via WhatsApp. However, upon arrival, I was unable to get a response from the hotel on WhatsApp. Additionally, there was no reception area, and check-in had to be done over the phone, which required multiple long-distance phone calls and extra fees.
The day before check-in, I received a last-minute email from the hotel requesting a deposit, but they did not provide any information on how to make the payment. Not all of the staff were willing to provide assistance, but the last person I spoke to was patient and helpful, which allowed me to check in smoothly.
One major safety concern was that there was a step outside the bathroom, but the floor was not marked, making it easy to trip and fall. Another hazard was the transparent coffee table in the living room, which caused several stumbling incidents that could have led to injuries.
Overall, while the hotel was clean and well-maintained, the issues with communication, extra fees, and safety hazards detracted from my experience.
AAdamJohnHad the pleasure of staying at the Hub Premier Inn in Edinburgh and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and accommodation that I received during my stay. As a first-time visitor to your hotel, I was not quite sure what to expect, but I have to say that my experience exceeded my expectations.
I had decided to take a trip with my son to Edinburgh to show him the sights and give him a little taste of Scottish culture. I was not familiar with your hotel before booking my stay, but after a little research, I decided to give it a chance. I have to say that I was not disappointed. The Hub Premier Inn was situated in a great location for exploring the city on foot. It was close enough to the castle to make for a convenient visit, yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful at night. We were able to explore the city via Princess Street or take back streets to the Castle entrance and the Edinburgh museum.
Overall, I would highly recommend your hotel to others who are looking for a great place to stay in Edinburgh. The quality of service, accommodation, and location exceeded my expectations. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I hope to have the chance to visit Hub Premier Inn again in the future.
RRoman KalyuzhnyGreat location, very nice building, with wonderfully appointed common areas (esp liked the library). Friendly and attentive service and tasty food (recommend the afternoon tea). The rooms are well decorated, spacious and bright. BUT there is a lot of noise, primarily from internal sources. So insulation really should be improved. Everything is audible from the hallway and the pipes make a lot of noise when shower/bathroom is used in neighbouring rooms. This is not what I would expect from this level of hotel.
AAttilioI was a quick stay (just one night, only really slept there), the location is great, as well as the staff and everything looks good. The WIFI however was very bad, both the day I checked in, as well as in the morning when I left. My phone struggled to keep it on, and on my laptop it only has 1 or 2 bars. I think everything else was good, it is very well located, but hotels these days must ensure WIFI is reliable and high speed, otherwise travellers who rely on it may be deterred.
GGuest UserThis is a rather disappointing stay. I hope we can get a proper compensation.
1. The bathroom does not have any basic toiletries, not even hand soap. We had to go down to reception to ask and was given hand lotion and told that it works as hand soap?!?
2. Breakfast is not ready at 7am. Breakfast is supposed to serve from 7 - 10am. On first morning, breakfast spread was not complete because chef came to work late. (Photo shows what was available to guests). We had to leave to catch our day tour bus so we barely ate anything. On the next day, no breakfast was served because there was issues with gas.
3. Room cleaning was not complete. Room cleaning only made the beds and refreshed the towels. The dustbins were not emptied and the toilet papers were not replenished.
