Edinburgh Hotels with Pools

Although the absolute price was a bit high, the value for money was excellent! The space was huge, equivalent to two bedrooms with bathtubs, plus an oversized living room, hallway, and walk-in closet. Gin, whiskey, vodka, cola, designated beers, and other drinks were all free to enjoy. There was twice-daily housekeeping service, and coffee capsules were refilled constantly. I was very satisfied. However, the hotel overall felt a bit dated. The main entrance surprisingly didn't lead to the lobby; it seemed to be more focused on dining and the spa. The actual lobby was hidden on the basement level with no signs.

Extremely satisfied! The entire place was spotless, and the location was perfect for shopping and getting around. All the facilities were well-maintained, and the staff were friendly, polite, and responsive. Everything exceeded my expectations, and it was excellent value for money.

Lovely hotel with a really nice vibe. Beds are so comfy. Nice showers and luxury toiletries. Great amenities with snacks, coffee machine, local filter coffee etc in room. Staff are great and very friendly. Happy hour from 5 to 6pm with free drinks in the bar. Lovely coffee from the conservatory bar. Great selection at breakfast. All the staff are what makes the hotel so good. Really positive attitudes and always friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

We booked this hotel not knowing that it is literally next to the zoo. So it was a pleasant surprise and we decided to include the Edinburgh Zoo as part of our itinerary when we were there. There’re bus stops infront of the hotel that conveniently transport us to the city centre in 15min; as well as to the airport. The bus systems there are superb and most of the times the buses arrived on schedule. There are no bottled mineral water, toothbrushes, toothpaste, comb or other sanitary products (except for shower gel, shampoo and handwash) provided in the room. However, there is a note pasted in the toilet that one has to ask for these items at the reception counter if one requires any of these. We didnt notice the pasted note in the toilet; thus we did not ask for these during our stay.. We were also surprised that there was no mini fridge or safe which are normally provided in a hotel room. Nonetheless we were happy when there’s an iron and ironing board in our room. We noticed that the housekeeping service usually starts around 9am. We were in the room at around 9.30am when someone from the housekeeping dept tried to open the door. So if you intend to wake up late, we suggest to keep your door locked and latched. Their housekeeping is efficient as we think they need to be on schedule but many times our used cups were not cleaned thoroughly (or replaced) as there were still stains in the cups. 1 day 1 of our half-drink bottled drinks was removed from the table which we presumed the housekeeper could have thrown it away. On the whole, it’s a pleasant stay for our family.

The hotel was nice staff were friendly and the amenities were amazing pool and gym were perfect the only down side was the pillows and bedding the duvet covers feel like scratch paper and don't fit the sheets propperly amd the pillows were stained and thin as anything they clearly meed to invest in new pillows and sheets as its effected our stay other than that the rooms were nice and spacious if recommended this hotel and hopefully they sort the issues the the beding out as that was the only negative me or my partner had about our stay

From a hotel of this level and price you expect more for breakfast. At least delicious coffee :) and a cup for toothbrushes in the bathroom would not hurt either. By the way, about coffee - if you come at 8 am or later, then while you wait for the waiter with coffee you can sit - what prevents the hotel from installing a coffee machine so that I can serve myself is a mystery. The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance. The room is large, the height of the ceilings causes a wow effect :) the bed is beyond praise. There is a gym, a swimming pool, a spa and even a yoga mat and scales in the room - I did not use any of the above :)) They ask for a deposit of 150 pounds upon check-in. You would think that they have crooks living here and I will run away without paying. In general, considering the price, I would think twice - maybe there is cheaper nearby, but not much worse. The restaurant across the road Kyole is simply brilliant! I recommend 👍 and a little further, but also a minute's walk away, a good shop of kilts and traditional clothes, not a souvenir shop like on the Royal Mile. We went to the airport by bus number 100, very convenient, the bus stop is two minutes from the entrance to the hotel, the stop at the airport is right opposite the entrance, the price for two with luggage is 11 pounds, inside there is a place to put bags. We got there in 30 minutes. Everything is convenient and fast.

This hotel is really convenient for transport. It's close to the airport, and right next to the train station, from which it's only a 12-minute direct ride to the city center. It's just as good as those hotels in the city that cost over a thousand [currency unit] a night! Plus, there's a super big supermarket next door, which is perfect for picking up souvenirs. Just a heads-up: the hotel's standard is to clean every three days, so if you prefer daily cleaning, remember to arrange it when you check in!
