LleonconnieThe room was incredibly spacious, with a separate living room. I'd definitely want to stay here long-term if I visit Scotland again. The room was very quiet, and the living room sofa converts into a bed. All the appliances were high-end brands like Dyson and Smeg. The only downside was the lack of on-site parking. There's an NCP car park under the bridge a bit further down, costing around £25 per night. The hotel is very close to the castle, about a 5-minute walk, and about 10 minutes from the city center. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is very convenient.

There's no kettle, so I had to go downstairs to get hot water every time, which wasn't very convenient. Breakfast was decent, just the usual British breakfast items.

GGuest UserMy recent hotel stay was a bit of a mixed experience. While the hotel was clean and well-equipped, there were several issues that detracted from my overall satisfaction.
Before arriving, I had communicated with the hotel via email and was told that they could be reached via WhatsApp. However, upon arrival, I was unable to get a response from the hotel on WhatsApp. Additionally, there was no reception area, and check-in had to be done over the phone, which required multiple long-distance phone calls and extra fees.
The day before check-in, I received a last-minute email from the hotel requesting a deposit, but they did not provide any information on how to make the payment. Not all of the staff were willing to provide assistance, but the last person I spoke to was patient and helpful, which allowed me to check in smoothly.
One major safety concern was that there was a step outside the bathroom, but the floor was not marked, making it easy to trip and fall. Another hazard was the transparent coffee table in the living room, which caused several stumbling incidents that could have led to injuries.
Overall, while the hotel was clean and well-maintained, the issues with communication, extra fees, and safety hazards detracted from my experience.

GGuest UserVery close to the airport, so you can easily walk to the airport convenience store for snacks, drinks, and fruit, and the prices are reasonable. All guests receive a welcome cocktail, which is a must-try – it's delicious! I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Aapri****The room largely matched the description and offered good value for money overall. However, the fridge in our room was broken and wouldn't close properly. After speaking with the front desk, they fixed it while we were out on the second day. It worked for a few hours, but then stopped closing again, so we had to wedge a piece of paper in it. Also, the drain tends to clog easily, so if you're not careful, the bathroom can flood. The heating was good, it was clean and relatively quiet, and had well-equipped kitchen facilities. There's a supermarket within walking distance. There's also paid underground parking available (14 pounds/day). You need to check with the front desk first, then drive a few meters forward, press a button, and the front desk will open the gate for you to park. Edinburgh isn't very big, so if you're up for it, you can walk to the castle and the Old Town. Public transport nearby is also convenient.

Stayed at Stewart by Heeton Concept for 2 days and I would absolutely love to come back in the future!
The apartment was spotless — no dust, no bed bugs, fresh clean bedsheets, and a tidy washroom. Everything was well-maintained and made for a really comfortable stay. It truly felt like a great place to relax and unwind.
The only two things I’d mention as areas for improvement: the check-out time of 10:30 AM felt a little early, and a few basic toiletry amenities like toothpaste, a toothbrush, and slippers were missing. Everything else was provided and well-stocked.
Overall a fantastic stay and highly recommended. Will definitely be returning! 😊

GGuest UserThis hotel is 100% the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and it is much more cost-effective than some hotels in London and Manchester. The room is clean and tidy, with complete supporting facilities, such as stereos, microwave ovens, refrigerators, tea sets and even dishwashers. In addition, I would like to thank the staff for upgrading the room type for me for free. Let's see how big the room is. It's almost a truck that can be parked! Friends believe me, it's right to choose this hotel.

GGuest UserAbsolutely amazing. We arrived very late due to heavy snow- they checked us in and organised an extra bed literally within 2 minutes of arriving. The service is efficient and rapid. The gentleman who looked after our room in house keeping was awesome, he helped us settle in and the little touches to make the kids feel special was duly noted.
The manager down on the reception desk was excellent. Everything is managed very well, there is no waiting and the service is outstanding.
The view at breakfast is amazing! Mountains in the distance covered in snow. Our stay was better than expected. Parking ✅ Swimming pool and sauna ✅ Food ✅ Service ✅
The hotel location is convenient and the restaurant space is open plan and cosy yet very busy. The hotel does need some updated but everything works well.
The location is literally next to the zoo and the overflow car park 🅿️ is next to the hotel.
The staff here are outstanding. High praise. Thank you.

The location is a tiny bit out of the way, but we took the local train to the city center every day. It's a convenient 12-minute ride from Haymarket Station to Waverley Station. The room was spacious, though the facilities were a little dated. Overall, it was a good stay.

I was feeling a bit under the weather during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond by bringing breakfast directly to our room, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. This level of care really goes a long way in making guests feel valued.
For those who prefer to enjoy their breakfast with a bit of fresh air, the hotel also has a charming terrace where you can take your meal while soaking in the surroundings. It's the perfect way to start the day if you want to enjoy a bit of sunshine.
The location is also a major plus. It’s just a short walk to the city center, making it easy to explore, and for those who prefer not to walk, a quick 5-minute bus ride will take you wherever you need to go.
