I stayed at the Adelphi Hotel on a recent trip to Edinburgh. It's definitely a budget-friendly option, which was perfect for me. The room itself was clean and functional. The bed was comfy, there was a flat-screen TV to unwind with, and the shower had great pressure with plenty of hot water.
Heads up, there's no breakfast offered at the hotel. I grabbed food at a nearby cafe each morning, which wasn't a problem, but be sure to factor that extra cost into your budget.
The room was a little on the small side, and I heard some noise from outside at times. It's not a fancy hotel, and there aren't any amenities beyond free Wi-Fi.
The location, however, was fantastic. It's just a short walk from the tram stop, and most of Edinburgh's attractions were within a 10-15 minute drive. There's even free parking on-site, which is a major plus in the city.
Overall, the Adelphi Hotel was a decent choice for my short stay. It's perfect if you're on a budget and don't mind a basic room without frills. Just be prepared to find breakfast elsewhere and manage your expectations.

The position is partial, it feels like a suburb. When we arrived at 7:00 in the evening, we basically couldn’t see anyone on the road. There was an access control. The speaker that had to vomit was the noise. It was totally unclear what the people inside were saying. So I have been communicating for a long time to understand what the other party is saying. It affects the mood too much. In short, it is very disappointing. It is far too far from the Prince Motor Hotel where I lived.

I was a little concerned that the bathroom was a little dirty, but the bedding and other amenities were very clean.
The stairs are a little steep, so it may be a little difficult if you have a large suitcase.
However, it is excellent value for money and is close to a tram stop, so I highly recommend it.

The breakfast is very good, a typical English breakfast, but not a buffet, but a la carte service (there are several options for you to choose, such as coffee or black tea? Scrambled eggs or quiche? etc.). I live in a single room on the third floor. The room is relatively small and cannot accommodate an extra bed. The room is just big enough for one person, with a small bathroom attached. The landlord has strict requirements on the check-in time. If you arrive late, it is best to inform the landlord of the exact time of your arrival in advance, and the landlord will tell you the password to get the key, otherwise there is a risk of not getting the key. The hotel is located in the south of Edinburgh, far away from the city center, about 20 minutes to half an hour walk, but there are buses. It is better if you live alone.

The room is clean and spacious with heating. I communicated with the hotel by email about luggage storage in advance. The hotel responded very promptly and effectively. It is very quiet and 20 minutes walk from the train station. Good value for money. Our room is marked as having no window but has a skylight! Very interesting.

Great
QQinxueAlthough it is a bit far from the city center, tram is very convenient! Next to it is the Spanish Visa Center. If you are coming from Scotland to apply for a visa, you can stay here for a while if you are not in a hurry to return~
The boss was super nice and even checked us in early when we arrived early.
The food and drinks prepared are all delicious! The environment is super cozy 🥲I love it! ! If you need to stay in Aibo next time, you will stay here again! !
GGuest UserThe sanitation is really a bit poor. The door is a piece of paper. The other room is a piece of waste paper. The hot water is not stable. The parking space is a bit tight, but the surrounding area can also be parked. It feels that it will not be fined. It is still a little distance to enter the city. It is not possible to use a bus. It can be used in London, I don’t know what’s going on, so I walked into the city for half an hour. This location is a bit tasteless, the price is not cheap, the price is not high, there is a saying that the breakfast is delicious.
GGuest UserThis hotel is cost-effective. It is very rare to set up a hotel that is convenient for travel in Edinburgh. We were lucky to catch up. Recommend everyone to come to this hotel. Because the city is small to travel by foot, there are more restaurants around, and you can find an economical dinner at any time. The environment is also better
陈陈The hotel is in a good location, not in the downtown area, but the bus is very convenient. There is a bus directly to the beach. You can visit the Britannia. The landlord's wife also has a discount card. The bus to the city is also very convenient, and it is very convenient to go directly to Princes Street and museums. The host is from Hong Kong. The wife is very beautiful. She speaks Mandarin and speaks softly. She is super young. The environment is quiet, and there is a large Tesco supermarket not far from the east. Edinburgh is beautiful and you can live here again.
GGuest UserWe had a fab stay at this accommodation. Easy to find parking and easy to check in. The location was pretty central to everything and there is plenty of bus services to all the landmarks. Will definitely be staying here again and can highly recommend.
愛愛流浪的獅子The Ground Floor has two rooms with private bathrooms, which is very suitable for people with large luggage, while the first floor has two rooms with a shared bathroom. However, this hotel is run by a couple and they are not always available, so you need to call them. There are supermarkets and bus stops nearby. It is convenient to go to Calton Hill and the Scott Monument.
黄黄The family room is suitable for a small child, and it is convenient to travel. Bus 11 goes to Prince Street and walks for 25 minutes. We took the children to walk two miles, the bus was two squats, and it was ok to walk around while the bus did not change. Indian butler, health is still satisfactory, service attitude is also good, there is a small yard. After all, I spend most of my time playing outside, and I sleep for one night. There is no need to ask too much. To say something dissatisfied, the bed is too soft!
Llori TangWhen you arrive on the first day, you need to call the person in charge. The B&B is not always occupied. The bathroom needs to be shared and the water pressure is very weak. The heating will suddenly disappear at night, but the price is affordable, there are many clothes racks, and there is free drinking water.
