I booked it for a night, got their a little early in the morning. While Jacob was upfront, No Rooms now. Then enters Chris, the rock star manager. All I had to tell him was that I'm a Hilton honors member and the room was allotted immediately. Thank you again Chris, I truly appreciate it. The hotel room has everything you could imagine for and the rooms are quiet. Despite of being next to the airport. To get here once you come out of the airport, don't go in the direction of trams, instead if trams are on your left side, walk towards your right and it is literally a 5 minutes walk from the airport. The bar at the hotel is fancy but no happy hours :( Working kitchen with limited food options but is very manageable. The breakfast was better than most of the other hotels for sure. They do have a big parking lot as well just in case you need to park here.

We recently stayed at Novotel Edinburgh for our first wedding anniversary, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so special, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with a stunning view of the city. The hotel even surprised us with a lovely anniversary treat, which was such a thoughtful touch. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The location was ideal—close to all the main attractions, yet peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. We also enjoyed the hotel’s facilities, especially the pool and bar area, which added to the overall luxury of our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you, Novotel Edinburgh, for making our special occasion truly memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Good points: The location is perfect, city centre. Service is above average. We had the breakfasts, not buffet style but actually v good. Al carte style, not easy to over eat.walking distance to a lot of attractions and starting points of local tours. Staff at reception were helpful and friendly. Above average. Check in. Check out smooth. Although my family of 4 while in UK, would book 2 rooms, recently, probably for the fun of the booking staff (definitely felt intentional) or the inadequacy of the computers, our family would be placed in 2 rooms in different floors, this time it DID NOT HAPPEN. So special thanks to W hotel for making this normal request come true. Not good points: Although nothing wrong with artificial friendliness, however, when all our luggage was delayed by British Airway, and there was a reasonable line in check in. The reception staff maybe could cut down the chatting with the guests and focused in doing the job and checking us in quicker. House keeping was below average, dirty glasses were not cleaned or replaced for TWO days. However this was not uncommon in UK in general. Breakfast ordering in the restaurant, orders were missed twice but actually above average in UK. Reminder: The hotel slippers were nice. Available on request, they would pretend the slippers were in the rooms, they would be available when requested Free. Thanks.

In general speaking, room is very clean and well organised. Staffs are friendly and the location is also close to the city centre. The only downside was nobody came to do the room cleaning service, no one came to collect your room’s rubbish. You need to go the reception by yourself to ask for something you want, for example, like tea, coffee refills, shower towels’ change and toilet rolls if runs out.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Leith Waterfront and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained, offering exactly what you’d expect—comfortable rooms and great value for money. The location is a good. Being right beside the waterfront gives the area a relaxed feel and public transport links into the city centre are convenient, making it easy to explore Edinburgh without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Our room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a good shower. The breakfast was a nice touch—simple but satisfying, with plenty of hot and cold options to start the day. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were both quick and efficient. Overall, Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Leith Waterfront is a great choice if you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable stay with easy access to both Leith and central Edinburgh. I’d happily stay again.

A Great Stay with Excellent Amenities Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5 stars) Title: Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Edinburgh. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming. The room was exactly what I needed—spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was a dream to sleep in after a long day of sightseeing, and I really appreciated the in-room amenities like the tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was also spotless and well-maintained. One of the major highlights for me was the hotel's location. It was perfect for my needs, being a short drive from the city center and conveniently close to local attractions like the Edinburgh Zoo. The availability of free on-site parking was a huge bonus and made traveling by car stress-free. I also had a great experience using the hotel's facilities. The indoor pool and fitness center were both clean and well-equipped, providing a relaxing way to unwind. The breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold options, and the quality of the food was excellent. While my overall experience was fantastic, there was a minor issue with the Wi-Fi in the room, which was a bit slow at times.
