Centrally located close to domestic airport, gas station and supermarket. Hotel appears to be converted from an old building but is nicely maintained with a charming lobby. Room size is bigger than other Iceland hotels. Shower is only separated from toilet by a shower curtain, so bathroom would get a bit wet but not a big issue. Both dinner and breakfast are good. Better reserve for dinner as it gets busy. O sure washing machine is handy, although may need to wait a bit as there is only one machine. Staff are generally helpful. Overall a pleasant stay.

The rooms are average, and the restaurant is a feature of the hotel, with an antique feel. There is a horse farm nearby, and there is a smell in the air.

A hotel in a great location. The room has a window and table that looks like it came out of Chekhov's comedy, and the view outside the window is also like that. This made us feel very good. The staff and food in the restaurant were also great, especially the homemade ice cream was very delicious. On this day, we saw the most beautiful Aurora during our trip to Iceland and had a pleasant night. We were very satisfied and would definitely stay there again if we visit Iceland again.

The hotel has its own charging pile but we didn't use it because when we arrived at night and parked our car, we thought it was a parking space for disabled people. We only found out it was a parking space for people with disabilities when we woke up the next morning. . It is unclear whether it is a cooperative charging pile. . The hotel is very close to vok bath and Tesla supercharging station. We went to vok bath to soak in hot springs in the evening and then returned to the hotel after supercharging. Advantages: There is a lake behind the hotel. The ecology is very good and beautiful. The breakfast is not bad. It is said that dinner is also recommended but we have not eaten it~ Disadvantages: There is a charge for the hotel's hot spring (but we chose to take a vok bath, so it doesn't matter). The hot water has a very obvious smell of rotten eggs (it is the only hotel on the island where we stayed with such a strong smell of rotten eggs). There is horse manure in front of the hotel. It still smells very strong of sheep manure.

The hotel is by the lake and seems to be run by a cattle farm. There is a cowshed next to it, as well as chickens and ducks.

The most expensive hotel on the Grand Ring Road. The breakfast and room are not much better than the 1k hotel we stayed in before, but the dinner is really unbeatable. We tried lamb chops, steak and prosecco (only one Italian one). There was no salmon that day, only another kind of fish, so we gave up the fish. Across the road is a supermarket and a gas station. The shower room has floor heating, and the shampoo and conditioner are very useful. There is a spiral staircase at the end of the corridor to see the scenery outside. The top floor has a glass roof, which is convenient for warming up and watching the aurora. They have an aurora wake-up service, just register at the front desk, but it was cloudy that day. If you are looking for cost-effectiveness, you can choose to have dinner only at this restaurant. The gravy of their lamb is very delicious, recommended.

Surrounding environment, good breakfast, room hardware facilities need to be improved

This is a hotel where you can choose not to stay, but you can't miss its delicious food. The lake view room I booked is not big, but the bath water is very powerful, which can wash away the fatigue of the journey. The hotel provides aurora wake-up service. At night, the aurora dances on the lake outside the hotel window. I just need to crawl from the bed to the window and stick my phone out of the window to take pictures of the exciting aurora [covering my face]. The next day, I left the hotel satisfied after having a fine breakfast. Everything is perfect.
