Glaciares de La Patagonia

The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the city center and feels a bit old. The double room was very small, with no space for luggage.

The property is a bit out of the way (but we chose it specifically for that reason), away from the chaotic area. There are restaurants nearby within easy walking distance. The reception service was excellent and very helpful, and breakfast was standard. The downside was the lack of an elevator to get luggage to the first floor (though the reception guy did help us out). The main issue, however, was the skylight that couldn't be blacked out, and we were woken up by the light. We might be sensitive sleepers, but there should really be an option to darken the room.

Having visited about a dozen hotels in Latin America during our trip, this one hit the spot. Very nice room, very good service. Excellent breakfast, superb restaurant. Everything was simply superb. I even considered extending my vacation to stay here another day. The only downside is that the beds could be a little softer.

The hotel looks nice from the outside, but it's very old inside, and the breakfast was all cold bread, nothing hot. It's really cheap, though.

The room was tiny, and it was quite far from the city center compared to other hotels. The staff were nice, but the bathroom was so small that you'd bump into the sink when using the toilet.
