Kathryn runs Corrigans Shore House the way B&Bs used to be and should still be run. She is friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Our room was quiet and comfortable - and the bed was the best we have every slept in. Breakfast was a joy, including Kathryn's fabulous home made rhubarb and ginger jam. The house is next to the River Erne a little way from Enniskillen at the end of a long country lane, so if you want to eat before bedtime do so before you arrive as there is no option of food in the evenings. (Kathryn has more than enough to do - including providing us with some welcome home baking and a proper brew on arrival!) We would recommend this place to anyone (although it's not accessible if you can't manage steps).

Excellent location, peaceful, quiet and beautiful scenery. Please see attached photograph. Warm welcome from Catherine and Joe, her dog. Superb food. Cosy rooms with flat screen TV's. Spotlessly clean.

My stay was a treat for my birthday and I wasn't disappointed. From the minute we arrived until we left it was brilliant. Catherine went above and beyond to make it a great time away. Fresh homemade scones and jam when we arrived and everything was just perfect. She was very welcoming and very attentive throughout our stay, could not do enough for us. By far the best place we've stayed in for a long time, very clean, warm and quiet. A brilliant restful break away 👌

This was by far the best accommodation we have had in Rural Ireland. Very warm welcome, excellent room and outstanding food. I wanted to stay longer.

I stayed at Corrigan's Shore house B and B from August 7 to August 9 . I have nothing but superlatives to describe my stay. Catherine, the proprietor, was friendly and welcoming. She had helpful suggestions for things to do while visiting in the area. The breakfast was a real treat - the scones were home baked, and the full Irish breakfast was freshly prepared, not reheated. Catherine made sure that she had our breakfast orders and preferred times the night before so that she could accommodate dietary differences. The rooms were spacious and the bed and bedding were at a high standard for a B and B. The venue is in a lovely location on the shore of Lough Erin. It is located about 3 miles off a country lane, but once on the main road one is only a short distance from Enniskilen . I highly recommend this place and would stay there again.

I cannot recommend this lovely guest house enough. From the home made scone I received when I arrived late at night to have with a hot cup of tea to helping me hook up with local genealogists to help me with my family history search. Catherine is the epitome of Irish hospitality and charm. My room was very comfortable with everything I needed and more and the breakfast each morning kept me going till evening at least! I urge you to have Catherine’s homemade porridge and full Irish to keep you going throughout the day! It was lovely sitting with others in the cosy dining room and catching up on how their holidays were going and then asking how my search was going. It is a little far away from the bud route but a 40 min walk gets you to the village of bellanaleck where u can pick up buses. Set on beautiful Lough Erne, you could not wish for a more peaceful and idyllic setting. Whether it’s a busy walking/touring holiday or you just need to recharge and unwind, this is the place for you. Such a beautiful area and I was spoiled for the choice of views. Whether you want to sit and read or fish from the front door this is the place for you. I cannot recommend Corrigans enough. Just go. I promise you you’ll be glad you did. I will be back soon Catherine. Many thanks again for everything. Sue. x

We visited this lovely B&B from 18th to the 21st of August 2023. What a fantastic stay. So relaxing and easy. Catherine was the perfect host, nothing troubled her at all. Room was brilliant and the bed was so comfy, and what a view out on to the lake. The breakfast was superb. Location was really good for where we were planning to go during our stay. Would highly recommend Corrigans Shore House to anyone. Five star all the way. Will definitely be back. George and Patricia, Belfast

Where to start?! The welcome you get from Katherine is second to none, she is a superb host and was born to do this role. She also welcomes you with scones and cake, home baked and yummy. The rooms are amazingly comfortable, I meant to ask what make her beds are - as that is one I would get in the future. Slept like a log, the place is supremely quiet. We also had a great view out over the river. The shower room was also well appointed and a great shower. Breakfast is not to be missed, great choice, well cooked and presented and plentiful. If I ever go to the area again (which is stunning) I would go straight there and not look at anywhere else.
