Eureka Zen Cottages

We stayed at the Shangri-la house and loved every minute of it. The host were so easy to work with and the location is perfect. It was an easy walk to downtown area. The aromatherapy scent was the best part. We are already planning our next stay.

Eureka Zen lived up to its name and much more! When we informed Jill about getting married while there in Eureka Springs, she immediately upgraded us to the main suite at no extra cost -- wow!! The view from the back porch was beautiful -- and when we arrived, the rooms were spotless, and all amenities were there -- a truly great experience!

203 Spring St- Little Chateau- So disgustingly dirty… I couldn’t not believe how dusty and overall dirty this place was. It was a very cute quint home, minus the air conditioning hardly working and was covered in dust, not very zen at all. There was a few centimeters of dust on the fans, almost all the furniture had visible dust, everyone’s sheets smelled like they hadn’t been washed ( my brother even found black hair in the loft bed) I didn’t feel comfortable walking around on the floors without shoes because they had hardly been cleaned and my feet would be black, the bathroom was somewhat cleaned minus the mirror which had boo b*tch written on it after someone had showered ( they didn’t clean the mirror) the house smelled very dirty and the towels were brown and mildewed. They need to switch to white to really sanitize them because they smelled disgusting. Forget grabbing some clothes that got pushed under the bed without it being covered in dust and crumbs like popcorn. I was so uncomfortable staying here. Will not be back.

This is mine and my husbands 5th-6th time staying at one of Eureka Zen's places. This particular stay was the Lotus Suite located in the lotus house. The amount of space in this first floor Lotus Suite was amazing. As with all of their suites/cottages, the decorating is always on point and the smell when you first arrive is very "zen"! You can not go wrong with a Eureka Zen cottage!!

Lotus Cottage was Fantastic! Very quaint with private entrance. Free parking very convenient. Extremely comfortable and peaceful. Close to EVERYTHING! From check-in to check-out, it was very simple and pleasant!

I am not a review writer, but I was shocked at the way these owners treated us when an issue arose. We stayed at the Shangrila and the photographer did their job in making it look better than it was. We also liked the option of the outdoor hot tub and the bath upstairs. Overall, the place felt fine. The fireplace was nice, but the remodel was not complete and average at best. The hot tub is an old unit, does not get warm enough and the jets provide limited pressure. Not enjoyable! The main issue we ran into was no hot water. While I assume this is a one off situation, we did not have hot water and were unable to use the bath or take showers. While I assume it is fixed now, the owners told me they sent the plumber out after our stay and said it was working fine. They offered us $75 on a $360 stay which I thought was completely unacceptable and basically made it our problem. Might be an ok place to stay, but if you’d have any issue don’t plan on the remedy being fair. They told me they have never given a refund before. Wow!!! Hospitality?!?!
