the hotel is clean, modern and has good location as the tram is right outside.
everything was great except that all my jewellery were stolen while i left my room to roam around the city. all my jewellery was worth at least Eur 3,000. i left them in a box which was placed in my luggage since there was no safe in my room. but when i came back to the room after a whole day out, all the jewellery were gone. the hotel managers were helpful initially, saying they would investigate and compensate me for my loss. but after i gave them all the receipts and credit card transactions of those items which were stolen from me, the managers just ignored my emails despite me trying to ask them for any updates on the progress of my case. at the very least, they could show me the cctv and allowed me to talk to the cleaner/staffs entering my room while i was away but that didn’t happen. i dont even know what is going on now that im already back to my home country, and the hotel did not even bother to update me anything even though they promised to investigate and compensate. hopefully, someone fm the hotel could see this and get back to me please! im honestly traumatised, nvr expected that my stuffs could be stolen right inside my room in a reputable hotel.

The hotel's facilities exude a charming, classic elegance! The balcony room was a huge plus for drying clothes, which is incredibly important for travelers. Breakfast was simple, with no hot options. However, I really enjoyed the variety of sliced hams they offered, a true local specialty. Sipping English black tea while assembling bread with those colorful ham slices and a couple of cheese slices was an absolute delight! Florence is beautiful. These experiences will become cherished memories for us. Thank you!

The botel is at the best location near train station within a few minutes walk. Rooms are spacious and organized. I was upgraded to a double bed room but actually there is some issue with the aircon system for the room that I cannot adjust cooler temperature and must follow next doors for heater instead. I found out when I returned to my room at night. The staff helped me change to another room quickly.

Hello everyone. The room matches the photo, I arrived alone and they put me in a room where there was no one else, which was very comfortable. I arrived before the check-in time and they met me halfway and checked me in earlier, which is also a plus. There is a gym on the territory, it is included in the price of accommodation, but there are not many exercise machines, which is understandable because it is not a professional gym) The room itself is very spacious, the rooms are cleaned by a maid. I would also like to mention the administrator Karla. The girl is very kind and does her job well, it was pleasant to talk to her. I will come back again if such an opportunity arises.

Nice room, but hidden fees and disappointing location
The room itself was beautiful — clean, stylishly decorated, and comfortable for a solo traveller, even if it was a little smaller than expected. So credit where it’s due: the physical space was lovely.
Unfortunately, a few things really affected my stay. I was asked for a €50 per night deposit upon check-in, which came as a complete surprise. This was not mentioned anywhere when I booked, and it hit hard as a solo traveller on a tight budget. I lost €100 before I even saw the city, and it honestly dampened the whole experience.
The staff at check-in were cold and not welcoming at all, which made the arrival feel awkward. Thankfully, check-out was much better — the person on the desk was kind and friendly, which helped leave things on a slightly better note.
As for location: it’s not ideal. The hotel is tucked behind the main train station down some pretty dirty, sketchy-feeling streets. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the Duomo, and for the price I paid, I expected to be much closer to the centre.
Overall, the hotel itself is fine — but in the wrong location and definitely the wrong price bracket. Unless the prices come down and they’re more transparent about deposits, I wouldn’t stay here again.

I recently stayed at Popartment in Florence, and overall, it was a great experience. The room was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring the city. The amenities offered were more than sufficient, making the stay comfortable. I particularly appreciated the kitchen area, which allowed for some light cooking.
The breakfast provided was decent, with a good selection to start the day. The neighborhood around Popartment was quiet and serene, which made for peaceful evenings, yet it was conveniently close to restaurants and shops. A short walk to the tram stop made it easy to access the city's main attractions, and the nearby establishments provided a variety of options for dining and shopping.
The one area where improvement could be made is with housekeeping. While it’s understandable that the room isn't cleaned daily, I would recommend at least providing a service to take away the trash regularly.
Overall, Popartment is a solid choice for anyone looking for a spacious, well-located, and peaceful stay in Florence.

Great location in Florence. The room was pretty standard and nothing much to shout about, but it was clean and did the job. The real highlight of this hotel is that it's right next to the train station, which made getting around really convenient. Perfect spot if you're planning to explore the city or take day trips. Overall, a practical and convenient stay.

The location is quite convenient, just across the road and around the corner from the station. However, the check-in process was quite slow. We arrived early, but our room wasn't ready, so we went out to explore. Even after returning at the official check-in time, we still had to wait another ten minutes.
Overall, the breakfast spread was quite varied and plentiful. The breakfast staff were also very friendly and their service was commendable.

Facilities: Overall it is quite new, the toilet is a little small but the room is spacious. The air conditioner is also new. There is also a drying rack in the toilet, which is very useful. The room has a refrigerator and tea bags. The only downside is that the curtains only block out half of the light (? So it's a little less private.
Hygiene: Cleaned very clean every day
Environment: Very close to the train station, turn right and walk a few steps. It's also very convenient nearby. There is a supermarket downstairs. There are many Chinese restaurants around, and you can walk to various attractions. But because it is near the train station, there are sometimes teenagers screaming at night, which is quite annoying.
Service: A very socially friendly hotel. The front desk is only open in the morning. When we arrived at night, we registered the information online in advance. The hotel sent us the check-in information for self-check-in. We didn't send the information on the morning of our check-in day, so we were a little anxious. Fortunately, Ctrip helped to call for consultation and sent it immediately. There are two doors in front of the room, both of which are password locked, which is safe. You have to climb one floor. There is an old European elevator that we didn't dare to use. We basically didn't see anyone in and out of the hotel. When checking out, just give the key to the lady at the front desk, and you can store your luggage.

AAnzhenqingjieA great hotel. The overall style of the hotel is Italian classical retro style. The service of the hotel is also very good. The location is very good. It is very close to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. It only takes 7-10 minutes to walk. You can see the city through the window at night. The night view has a unique flavor

JJ_SydExcellent accomodation for the money and value. Rooms are newish and super clean with a modern feel.
Directly opposite SMN station makes it fantastic as a base in Florence as centre storico is a few minutes walk away as well as being right next to SMN cathedral itself.
Plenty of good food around as well as a carrerfour express.
Rooms importantly were also quiet so I was able to sleep well.
Aircon worked superbly and shower pressure was excellent.
I loved that the bathroom had a window so you could let air in and out, except it usually meant letting in mosquitoes too so it was best left closed.

GGuest UserThe room was beautiful, full of fragrance, especially clean and bright. Although the hotel staff did not speak English, they patiently used translation software to talk to us. The communication was also very pleasant. The unexpected discovery of the room also had a small balcony, as well as a yard and swing. It was very suitable for enjoying the journey.

GGuest UserReservation because it was close to the station. The restaurant is on the 1st floor and the hotel is from the 2nd floor. The uncle at the reception does not move from the number, so you can go to the room with your luggage by yourself. There was no elevator and it was difficult because I had to carry a carry case up the stairs. And although it was said that the room was on the 2nd floor, it was actually on the 4th floor, and it was difficult to lift and lower the luggage. When I bought dinner and entered, I kindly guided me to eat on the rooftop balcony. The room had a large bathtub and the bathroom was larger than the room (laughs) Check-out was from 7:30, but when I told him that I had a plan and wanted to leave at 6:30, It was good to respond politely. It was difficult to speak English at all, but I managed to communicate using the translation app.

ЕЕвгенийExcellent apartments near the station. To Duomo 30 minutes walk
The hotel is in the code at the entrance door, the keys are waiting for you. With anyone from the recipes contact only by phone, the ATS AP. Before the settlement, they were asked to drop a photo of passports and voucher.
A quiet room with a good bed, a big TV, in a bathtub. When settled, a compliment, a bottle of water, two small juices, snows.
In the general hall apples, coffee, water and even wine!
I definitely recommend!

GGuest UserThe location and facilities of this apartment are actually okay. Florence has been there many times. Compared with the hotels near the core area, it takes about 15 minutes to walk. The price of 4 people is still OK. But here we need to focus on complaining about Ctrip. This apartment belongs to a company that operates many homestay apartments in Florence. It uses contactless check-in. Now it is very common at home and abroad. However, using this check-in method requires complete communication in advance. Some need to register relevant information online in advance, and the homestay will inform the check-in guidelines. After the booking confirmation of Trip.com, I did not receive any email or telephone communication until the day of check-in. After contacting Trip.com customer service, they said that they could not contact the relevant agent. Let me leave the email and say that the agent will contact me. The contact number given on Trip.com is also problematic. After waiting for two hours without audio, I finally found the agency company belonging to this homestay online. After contacting by phone, I sent me an email for online registration and relevant check-in guidelines, which was done in 10 minutes. The staff of the homestay company said that they sent a lot of emails and there was no response. I don't comment on what went wrong. But since it is a contactless check-in method, Trip.com does not communicate in advance, no guidance information, and finally no news after looking for customer service. It can be said that there is no action. If there is no relevant experience, it can be imagined that the result is that the local people can't get in, the local contact number is wrong, and the embarrassing situation that can't be solved by Ctrip customer service.
