A very good budget hotel. Although the facilities are a bit old, you can tell that the business is renovating because the toilet has been obviously renovated. Considering its price, it can be considered a very good hotel, clean, with a good location (near the tram station), convenient parking and friendly service.
But I have to mention that the hotel has poor sound insulation, the windows and walls are a bit old, and the rooms are not well lit.

This location is really convenient if you need to take the flight to domestic airlines or other countries, just few minutes by taxi or trans. Don’t forget to make a reservation if you take early flight. The staff is also very helpful when we need to leave the luggage at the hotel. Recommend this hotel if you just need 1 or 2 nights for transferring.

Although the location is pretty far from the city Centre, riding the tram was pretty easy and convenient (about 20 min to downtown). The staff at the desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was buffet style with a variety of breads, baked goods, scrambled eggs, yogurts, meats and cheeses. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff are very diligent. Also the furniture choices for the room were perfect. Small side tables and a small desk didn’t take up too much space. The only things that were a bit dissatisfying were the noise level (we could hear other guests’ alarms in the morning and stomping in the upstairs rooms) and some parts of the room were a little worn or old, including some damage to the wall and baseboards, missing grates from the air conditioning vent.

It was a great place to stay location and amenities were great. The staff was nice and the room was amazing. Just two things- I did an early check in, left my luggage and came back in the night and when asked for my room key the staff couldn’t find my reservation and gave away my room to someone with the same surname, took about an hour for them to understand my problem and the situation, I did my check in again around 12 in the night. They didn’t give me any room even when they could see my checkin and clearly staff had mistaken. The second issue was my room key didn’t open the door even once during my 3 day stay and I had to call someone every time. These two things were just a bit of hassle.

Great stay, warm welcoming staff members available 24/7. Breakfast was great with homemade pastries and pies. The location is around 25mins away from the main station but the transportation was available and convenient to commute. There are no supermarkets nearby so better get your snacks or water bottles from the central. Would definitely recommend the stay overall 👍

Our experience at Leone Blu was just superb. The hotel itself is an historical gem with fresco ceiling and stunning view on the Arno river. The location is amazing, right on the Arno river and few minutes walking from Uffizi museum and all the other major monuments and attractions. The staff made the whole experience even better, with a professional yet warm and welcoming attitude, just the best.
