Middlewick Holiday Cottages

Went for one night with my sister and stayed in the E-den pod, we had a wonderful time! We stayed in Adam, which was the last of the pods down the path and meant it was nice and private without people walking past. The furthest from its bathroom but still super near! The pods are lovely and warm and the bed was comfy. The only downside is whoever sleeps closest to the wall is prone to whacking an arm on it in the night but we anticipated this. The site itself is just great. We utilised the spa services and each had a massage - one of the best we’ve ever had! The view of Glastonbury Tor was lovely and the whole place was very charming. The pods are probably due a redecoration spruce soon but nothing that would stop us revisiting. We had a lovely time and will most certainly be returning!

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 toddlers) had a wonderful stay at Middlewick! The check-in & check-out process was very smooth. We stayed in Meadow Barn which was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Our kids enjoyed visiting the farm animals (horses, goats) and the indoor swimming pool. The farm shop is well stocked and the cafe serves great breakfast. Middlewick was a great base for our day trips to Cheddar Gorge and Bristol, as well as being very close to Glastonbury town centre. Would highly recommend it for a peaceful country getaway.

This place is what I imagine heaven to look and feel like. The beautiful green pastures and vistas wraps its arms around this magical place. The warmth of the proprietors Jill and Jonathan and the whole staff Tasha, Denise, Diane, Tim, Roger, Alina and Natalie and others made my stay one of my most memorable trips. The pictures on the website doesn’t reflect the wonder of Middlewick. Bed was very comfortable, the Farm Cafe is the tastiest healthy food, and the kitchens are well equipped. Walk to town is stunning. Glastonbury town is unique and mystical. I will be back for sure!

We were fortunate to stay in Mendip View for a week. The house is amazing, comfortable and homely. Onsite facilities were great including a swimming pool and Spa. Staff very helpful and arranged additional bed for when we had friends stay. Farmshop food very nice with both cooked food and groceries available. There is plenty to do in local area and further afield. Couldn't recommend it more.

My wife and I had sen this place in 4 in a bed and it looked like our kind of place, with an owner that came across well in the program. We were not disappointed. We stayed in Appletree , which was perfect for us as a couple. Very clean and tidy on arrival. Well laid out, with all you need whilst staying. A nice size swimming pool available. The farm is well positioned to be a base to travel out. An easy walk to Glastonbury, The Chalice well, the Tor and lots of other walks. Only a short drive to Wells. I’ve written a separate review for spa and cafe but all perfect for us. All staff were friendly and helpful, a great little team. We’ll be back.

We stayed during February half term with the family two adults and three children. We absolutely loved our stay at Middlewich. The property is amazing. The rooms and accommodation are absolutely brilliant and worked so well for our young family. The farm is great for the kids to play and explore and they loved the swimming pool too. The on-site farm shop and cafe is great, food all absolutely brilliant and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The spa is also amazing and so relaxing, beautiful rooms and decorations all creating a great atmosphere. The location is also great, with wonderful views across the countryside and a particular highlight is being able to walk to Glastonbury Tor, even taking the farm dog for a walk, which the kids loved! We loved our stay, thanks to Jill and the team for making it such a great place! We will be back in the future.

I've ever stayed here before, despite it cropping up in multiple searches for accommodation local to Glastonbury - finally took the plunge and booked Appletree for 1 night. Its a very peaceful site (in February - bearing in mind it might be very different in mid-summer with more families, children and pets). Easy to find down a lane (passable, not narrow), a five minute drive from Glastonbury or a walk across fields. Car parking is onsite and, sensibly, different to the farm shop parking. The car park is only metres from the self catering complex so easy enough to transport luggage from car to house and back again. There is wifi but vodaphone signal was patchy. Appletree comes with a cute serviceable kitchen, its own sitting room and possibly one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. I didn't see or hear my neighbours with only minimal noise from traffic leaving or arriving at the site. It is far away from any main roads. There is, I think, a wee bit of magic about Middlewick. I left there feeling at peace and that's a rare thing indeed.

My friend very highly recommended middlewick spa, I booked for a Swedish massage and green tea wrap, it was nothing short of amazing, after my recent M.S diagnosis and my muscles definitely needing some care I cannot recommend the treatments and professional care I recived enough, thankyou so much I left feeling utterly refreshed and relaxed. My treatment therapist millie was amazing thankyou so much for putting me at ease and I will definitely be returning. What an amazing place wish I had done this sooner.  Emma
