Check in was horrible. No one at desk and another person already waiting. Finally lady appears from back rooms behind desk and comes out telling guy she’s trying to get him situated. Disappears again. Reappears 7-10 minutes later. Checks me in since I have reservations. No eye contact “just sign here.” I ask about luggage carts “guests group here took them to rooms, haven’t seen carts all day. Stepped in elevator and on our floor, both reeked of *********. Cleaning staff were right around corner with loud music playing, talking loud and when I stepped around the corner the one in the hallway was eating! She apologized and later came out of the room they were cleaning still eating and with a puppy that ran down the hallway and into another open room. She commented she needed to take him outside for potty break and to play. Asked them about carts,”haven’t seen them on 2nd or 3rd floor. So we ended up hauling all our luggage etc up in several trips. No one would go to those guests rooms and retrieve carts. After getting our things in, turned in tv, “ remote wasn’t programmed to tv”, after trying to trouble shoot it ourselves, called front desk and different remote was brought but she said batteries were dead and they were looking for some. I mentioned maybe a outage had knocked tv offline since the bedside clock was flashing. She said they’d had outage 2 weeks ago but she and the cleaning crew didn’t know how to reset them (a basic digital clock, buttons on top). ?
