A very nice hotel with nice staff. At the reception the check-in etc takes somewhat nice long. At the ski lift you are fast, just a bus stop away. Unfortunately, more mass handling at the buffet. Dinner was ”naja”. Suppet and salad delicious, dei main meals rather cantines - that has, unfortunately, buffet so in itself. Breakfast is beautifully rich and varied. For the size of the hotel the wellness area is rather small. 2 saunas, that's OK, but unfortunately quite little beds and not separated from the showers. So so well you can relax rather on the room. We had a faulty fire alarm at night and stood in the sleeping suit at half two in the frozen night Temperatures outside. Unfortunately, there was no meeting of the hotel at request. At least the € 20 drinks they could have left us out of course. Of course, probably the hotel can't do anything for it, but we also haven't and that has already made us We don't come again. ------ In itself a nice, modern hotel with friendly staff. This hotel is the most satisfying hotel in my Central European tour (12,000 yuan higher than other hotels I stayed in, but with breakfast). It was an accident to come to Gersau because there was no booking for Hallstatt, but it was a surprise. Gesau itself is a beautiful place, a paradise! The snow-capped mountains are close at hand, flowers, vast pastures, chapels and two bells that echo each other. There are fewer people and feel more comfortable than Harststadt (Halstatt is narrow and has many tourists). This hotel should be the best hotel in Gersau. It is an old building with a high terrain and a wide view. The hotel itself meets the feeling of the manor seen in my movie. The yard is large, the blue swimming pool, the outdoor The seats and the second floor porch can be used for dining. The furniture and decoration of the room should be pine. The toilet and the washroom are separate and do not interfere with each other, but our room does not have a balcony. It is better if there is a balcony. The hotel not only gave a map of Gesau, but also gave a timetable to return to the Harstad bus, very intimate. It’s just that the introduction to the history of the hotel does not seem to see the English version.
