An authentic excellent hotel in the less touristed side of Martinique. Employees were all wonderful, helpful and friendly. Several spoke English which was very helpful. The food was very good and we would definitely stay there again. The room was nice and clean with a clean toilet and shower.

We stayed here overnight on a brief trip to Grand Riviere. Centrally located, there is ample street parking within a few metres walk. Greeted on arrival with a friendly face and a refreshing rum punch drink, all the staff without exception during our stay were very friendly and cheerful. The rooms are simple but bright and welcoming and equipped with air conditioning. Plenty of hot water for the shower. They do provide dinner in the evening for guests but this does have to be booked in advance. Breakfast consists of yoghurt, bread and fresh fruit with a hot drink and juice which we found quite sufficient. The small town itself is interesting and very authentic, not at all geared to tourism. Local people are all very friendly and there is an attractive church to visit. There is a pleasant sea front good for strolling in the evening and a few hundred meters from the centre of town there is a nice beach with a tropical backdrop.

Excellent séjour chez Tante Arlette : accueil et service aux petits soins. Dîner authentique et succulent à la table de Tante Arlette. Bain de rivière au petit matin avec les petits poissons apportés de main. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir

Rodolphe est un hôte exceptionnel, tant pour l'hôtel que pour le restaurant, sans oublier ses rhums arrangés et sa dose d'humour... Une pépite en ce bout du monde, terminus du Nord Martinique ! Mérite le détour après avoir visité la distillerie JM...

très belle escapade au bout de la terre du Nord de l'ile où nous pouvons ressentir la puissance des éléments, l'authenticité des habitants et de leur histoire. Une auberge très accueillante et rassurante avec son charme d'antan (que l'on peut imaginer au récit de sa petite fille sur son grand père). Un accueil chaleureux et des chambres confortables ainsi que de délicieux petits déjeuner et diners.

accueil déplaisant au check-in ainsi qu'au check out. Diner servi à 19 h. On demande d'être à table à 19h mais finalement, impossible d'avoir une bière avant 19.30 ... trop de monde (à peine 10 personnes ...) et le jeune homme qui sert, fort desagréable, est débordé ! Le diner, pour un plat à 25 euros est tres tres light : un petit poisson et deux écrevisses ...n'y allez pas

Service catastrophique. A éviter . Beneficie d'un quasi monopole et en abuse. Personnel en salle très désagréable. Le chef de rang est d'une prétention rare. Ferait-il preuve d un racisme anti blanc ? Dommage car les contenus des assiettes est convenable.

Nous sommes passés chez Tante Arlette le dimanche 28 janvier pour y passer la nuit. Nous avons profité des services du souper et du petit déjeuner. La chambre est décorée avec goût et très propre. Pour un établissement classifié 2 étoiles (il bat des lieux visités classifiés de 3 étoiles) nous n’avons pas été déçus du rapport qualité prix. Le service est bien et sympathique. Nous avons été accueillis avec un apéritif maison et avons été guidés à notre chambre. Des spécialités de la région sont offertes au menu et la cuisine est bonne et savoureuse. Nous avons adoré notre passage à Grand Rivière et cet établissement reflète bien l’accueil des gens du village et de la famille de Tante Arlette.
