Super 8 Select Hotel (Guangzhou Jiangnanxi Metro Station)

The location is fantastic, very close to the Premium Outlets, making shopping incredibly convenient. I bought a lot of discounted clothes there. Next door, there's also a herbal tea shop that makes really delicious freshly squeezed juice. Plus, there's an excellent restaurant nearby, always packed with elderly people – I heard they're all landlords and landladies who collect rent.

Great location, super convenient for transportation. It's only a 3-5 minute walk to the subway entrance, and right outside the hotel is a shopping street, making it easy to shop and find lots of great food. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit old. When we stayed, the AC unit outside our room was faulty and made so much noise that we couldn't sleep. We had to switch rooms, and then it was much better. The hotel breakfast was just okay.

The location is unbeatable. Everything from a wet market to malls and various small shops is within easy reach, and it's only a 200-meter walk from Exit D of Jiangnanxi subway station. The room was very quiet, and housekeeping was incredibly prompt; both the room and bathroom were spotless. It's located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a very old building, and the room was indeed quite small 🤦. The facilities are also dated. The window was tiny with no screen, and it was right next to an air conditioning unit. Breakfast was just okay, mainly rice noodles, stir-fried noodles, and eggs (mostly carbs). I strongly recommend upgrading the Wi-Fi and adding a dryer! It's almost always fully booked during holidays, and I personally think it's best suited for budget travelers and backpackers.

Great location, right by Jiangnanxi subway station, and the price is good too. The room was very clean. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Everything from check-in to check-out was incredibly pleasant. The front desk staff were patient, the room was clean with no strange smells, and the soundproofing was excellent, leading to a very peaceful night's sleep. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation and a wide variety of dining options. It was a truly perfect stay.

I can't believe such a high-value hotel exists in such a prime location! The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic – it's not far from Jiangnanxi Metro Station, just a few minutes' walk away. It's super convenient for getting to nearby shopping areas and parks, and there are tons of food options around. Plus, unlike some hotels where you have to climb a few steps to enter or several stairs to reach the elevator, this one is very accessible, which is a huge plus if you have big luggage. The room was very clean, the mattress was super comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. The breakfast spread was extensive and tasted good too. The front desk lady was very warm and welcoming, making for a great stay experience!
