I went to the laundry room and saw shoes being washed in the washing machine. This person is really of poor quality, very poor, and has no sense of ethics. It is still necessary to strengthen the monitoring of the self-service laundry room to facilitate the next guest.

Warmish welcome at reception. Room was changed due to disappointing view from window (partially blocked). There was some confusion when I asked about the Light Meal, despite using translation apps. In the end there was no beef - but was offered egg and tomato. I did not receive the Midnight Diner Meal and was too tired to go to reception again to ask for it. From previous reviews, it appeared that these meals were brought to the room automatically. Mine were not. No Delicious Hand-Made dessert either. Disappointing. Afternoon Tea was delicious and snacks were delivered to my room. However, a member of staff also appeared at my door to check that I did not have a companion. Why? Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant staff and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The majority of reception staff should try to learn from them about customer service. I had a medical issue and reception staff were helpful, though. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. But noisy - traffic and other guests could be heard. Overall, a pleasant stay but not the relaxing break I needed.

The room was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. I also loved the fresh and elegant courtyard. Plus, they offer self-service laundry, which was a nice touch. Overall, a good experience.

This stay exceeded my expectations, so I absolutely have to leave a great review. The front desk staff were friendly and communication was smooth. The lobby was generally well-maintained and clean, and parking was convenient, even at night. The guest room was meticulously cleaned, with every corner spotless, and the bathroom was fresh and tidy. The mattress had just the right firmness, and the soundproofing was excellent, making for a very quiet night. The overall facilities were well-maintained, and I felt very secure during my stay. Definitely recommend! So happy!

Clean and hygienic, quite nice. I don't stay in hotels often, but this was at least as good as the ¥375 Four Seasons Hotel in Suzhou North. Since I have a Border Collie, the environment is great and I can bring my dog, so it's perfect.

Rain Alley Inn's hygiene standards are reassuring; both common areas and guest rooms are impeccably maintained. The lobby consistently remains elegant and spotless, with no dust or clutter on surfaces or floors. The courtyard is regularly swept of weeds and fallen leaves, keeping it lush and the flowers neatly arranged. Guest rooms feature deep-cleaned bathrooms, with every nook and cranny under the beds thoroughly cleaned, and all facilities are in perfect condition. With its affordable pricing and high-standard cleanliness combined with beautiful gardens, it's hard to find an alternative at this price point.

The room as a whole meets the description, the pick-up station service is very good and convenient, the front desk service is more enthusiastic, and there are many snacks around, but the room is at the elevator exit and facing the street. It is noisy early in the morning the next day. The room is smaller than expected. The overall feeling is worthy of this price but no highlights. No problem with a short trip

We booked a king room, and the front desk upgraded us to a suite for free. The view from the window was fantastic, and the room had two bathrooms, which was very convenient. We forgot some of our child's clothes before leaving, and the hotel proactively contacted us to arrange for them to be mailed back – a very thoughtful touch. This is the best value and service I've experienced at any Howard Johnson hotel in China so far.
