It was so beautiful that I couldn't believe you had been doing it for more than 20 years. The rooms were stylish, quiet and very comfortable. I was also happy with the coffee service.
Lodge Ocean

I used it on my first trip to Hachijojima. This is an inn that I would definitely like to visit again. The originally planned stay was in the new building, and after checking out, I received a phone call from Lodge Ocean as soon as it was confirmed that my flight from Hachijojima Airport was cancelled, and I stayed on the second floor of the building where the front desk was located. Both rooms are slightly larger than a typical business hotel. The new building has a very clean and bright atmosphere. Perhaps the soundproofing was a bit poor, but construction workers were having a party in the same room in the new building, so it was quite noisy. It's a pretty comfortable room unless you're having a party. The room on the second floor of the front desk is about the same size as the new building. It looked like a slightly older Japanese-style room that had been renovated into a Western-style room, but it was comfortable. This accommodation was the cheapest plan that included two meals, but it still included fresh local fish sashimi and fries, so I was full and satisfied. There are no restaurants nearby, let alone shops, so we recommend a half-board plan instead of just staying overnight.
Hachijo View Hotel

I have stayed at Seapiros, Reed Azzurro, and Coco at all three major resort hotels in Hachijojima, but personally, View Hotel is my favourite. Seapiros has excellent access to the subsoil. It's a 1-minute walk, so it's super convenient for swimming and snorkeling. You don't have to use the beach shower. The disadvantage is that it is far from Ogago, and it is a little inconvenient to use a taxi to major izakayas and supermarkets. Although the room has a feeling of Bali, it is small. Reed Azzurro has poor transportation to anywhere (there is a shuttle to Sokodo), and the facilities around the pool have a feeling of being out of town, and the resort feeling does not increase. Stargazing on the rooftop is good. And here at the View Hotel, the atmosphere around the front desk and around the pool has a resort feel that makes you feel like you've gone to a tropical country. It's a short taxi ride to Ogago (although it's a little tough to walk). Easy to access by bus during the day. Transportation to the bottom soil is available in the summer. This time I used the Tokyo discount, but the three resort hotels on Hachijojima are as expensive as Okinawa's luxury resort hotels, and compared to them (although compared to luxury resorts), the level of resort hotels is lower, so it's expensive. can be felt.

We would like to thank the hotel staff for their good hospitality, professional service and delicious breakfast during our stay. The hotel is located near Hend Beach, with easy access to the Pacific Ocean within a few minutes' walk. There are several nice restaurants around the hotel and the staff will take you by the hotel on advance request. The rooms are clean and comfortable for your stay. I would like to stay at the hotel again in the near future.
Lido Park Resort Hachijojima

I was here for 3 days in November 2022 and enjoyed the stay. The staff at the reception very friendly, the room with view of the Pacific is quite large and equipped with everything, including a Yukata (hotelkimono), with which you could go to the hotel spa (separate bath). A rich breakfast, a vending machine for drinks at massive prices, a shuttle to the place Hachijo (ma can say where you want to go) and also back. And a roof terrace to the star view. The only disadvantage is that you have to book dinner 3 days in advance. There is no alternative to eat something. I knew it and I was concerned about a few little bits on the back-up in the supermarket. I'll certainly go back there when I'll visit the island again
Minshuku Funamiso (Hachijojima)

There is a transfer, but only when checking in and checking out. There is no middle-day transfer if you stay overnight. I was told that I couldn't do it because I wasn't available at check-in and check-out. Room: Cleaned. Lay your own futon and put on the sheets. To be clear, it's cold. The effect of the air conditioner was subtle. A private room in the annex, a tatami room with 6 tatami mats. It is separate from the washroom, toilet and bath. I can hear the snoring next door. To put it bluntly, is it a student dormitory? Training camp? Meals: It was delicious. There are many items. There was a group that brought alcohol, so I think it's OK to bring it in. Bath: The bathtub is small and there are two people. It becomes a subtle air with people you don't know. Bathing time was from 1630 to 2200. Washroom: Hot water will not come out immediately. Low capacity?
