Downside: this Onsen resort are really so-so, the view of the room are basically block and the room space are not big but not small, so this may not the best choice of this price range.
Upside: The dinner is stunning and super good and the staff are very polite and u only have a minute walk to the bus stop and convenience store.

We’ll be in Sengokuhara at 6 o’clock, and you can get there by mountain bus. Each room has an open-air hot spring, which is very comfortable to soak in at night. The breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel are also very rich, and overall I am very satisfied.

If you don’t like Japanese food, it’s best not to go. I almost vomited after dinner... I don’t know why the indoor air conditioning is not powerful. I was originally just interested in the style and supporting conditions of the room, but later I decided to spend more than a thousand yuan to soak in the mountains. It was not interesting to stay one night. The front desk finally gave me a pack of special noodles. After checking out of the room, I ran back to Tokyo. Hakone is still not suitable for me.

Although this hotel is more expensive, I really don't regret it! Overall hotel was fine. Rooms in the traditional Japanese style - and with a small outdoor onsen on the balcony. Very clean and functional - although the shower being effectively outside when the weather is cold isn’t great. Breakfast was traditional Japanese fare - be warned - no eggs and bacon here! The public onsen was a little disappointing - I was expecting beautiful views in a traditional Japanese garden. This was more like a concert re back yard.

We stayed for 2 nights after being in cities for a week and was just what we needed.
The Onsen in the room was amazing and the large room was a dream to relax in. With a family mart around the corner helped for late night snacks too.
