We were allowed to be guests in the “Golden Adler” with a group of over 40 people in the week from Tuesday, 24.09. to Thursday, 26.09. People in this house treated us very prematurely and friendly – both from the reception and from the restaurant. All the check-in was friendly - quickly and directly without delay. The rooms fully met our expectations. Breakfast buffet was more than enough and always well filled. All people in the group had their places and it was not even ”overflow” taking breakfast. On one evening we had booked a menu. The menu was fully in line with our wishes, was more than sufficient and very tasty. Even a later debtor in other days was problemless. I write these lines so in detail because we had read something different and had critical feelings in the group. I can actually thank this House only for the beautiful hours. To this point, – we had previously discussed and discussed the expectations with the hotel. Wünsches were met quickly and uncomplicated.

The Ibis hotel in Bamberg is very good, the facilities are good, the breakfast is rich, it is very close to the train station and the bus station, it is very convenient, it is more convenient to go to the old town.

The breakfast was simply kept, the juice was almost empty, but that seemed to not disturb anyone because a staff member was not seen at breakfast. We would definitely not book again here.

A large hotel with a lot of local cattle. Breakfast is rich and hot food is less. The environment is beautiful and the attraction is very convenient. Bamberg is really beautiful, and people think of a word: the years are quiet. I hope it will not be destroyed. The only dissatisfaction was to book more than a month in advance, still only to give us the room on the ground floor. The light is dark. I suggest that you do not want to live on the first floor and ask for it earlier. After all, live for two days. Outside is a riverside trail, and many foreigners are running all day long, some are ringing. Feeling is almost to be. Drinking water is only given for one day, and the next day is not given. The price of water here is not cheap, at least a large bottle of more than a dozen yuan. It’s a fly in the ointment.

With a water cooker for a coffee or tea I would also have liked that it should be possible at the room price - this offered at least in the past many of the equivalent hotels. The staff is very friendly.

Last night I stayed at Hotel Residenzschloss on the River Regnitz in Bamberg, just a short walk from the historic city centre. The interaction of Baroque and modern styles shapes the atmosphere of this house built in 1787. Booked two big, one small room with three meals, 9-year-old baby extra bed, the room is very spacious. The hotel has an underground parking lot. The parking fee is more than ten euros a day. The specific amount is forgotten. Easy walk to the center of Bamberg.

The location is far from the old city, and the tourist content is mostly in the old city, so it is quite far away to eat and go shopping. I found out there, for some reason, Bamberg is not big but there are a lot of hotels, so I don't recommend it here. Breakfast buffet, more common. I feel more tourist-like than a business hotel, so I feel that I should not have an extra bed. From the perspective of bedding, it is not suitable to bring children.
