Novotel Hotels in Hamburg

The location with the subway right outside the door is of course perfect. The room is large and adequate. The bed has negative points. The bed itself is comfortable but unfortunately only has 2 small pillows, which is not enough. In a 4-star hotel I expect different pillows in different sizes so that there is something for everyone. The duvet is also much too thick for summer and therefore too warm.

Location is relatively central and within walking distance to Jungfernsteig shopping district, 5 min drive from Alster Lake. The hotel is relatively new and clean, well maintained. There is a Nespresso machine in the room however there was no hot water kettle. When queried, the staff said to just use the Nespresso machine for hot water or drink water from the tap! Only sparkling water bottle was provided, if you want to buy a bottle of still water, it will cost EU7.00 (no thank you)!
