Ocean Heights View Hotel

It was my first time in Crete. I travelled with my girlfriend and one more couple. The rooms was close to each other, clean and the view was amazing especially between the sunset time. We had a very relaxing holidays by the new pools which by the way were amazing. Furthermore, the food was very good and delicious for any kind of taste. In the end, the staff was very kind and the animation very active. Next year we Hope to see again Mr Michael in the service who was always very kind and helpful with us.

Very friendly and personal stuff. Rooms are not luxorious but clean. Pool area is really nice and food is good. Ventilation in the hotel is not the best. Affordable car rental is in the reception, really comfortable. Recommend getting sea view room. Views and sunsets are beautyful. Hotel is not located in center, but 15 minutes walk away.

I would like to point out that the nice comments written here were written in exchange for cocktails and are not true.They literally asked to write bad reviews to another hotel for a little prosecco.. and Lion is an animator who is far from law and ethics and can lie easily. The motivation to communicate with customers is based on selling bingo, t-shirts or tombala.

Positives. Does indeed have an ocean view. Staff are pleasant on the whole. Good sized balcony. Free air con. Lots of pools and Sunbeds. Grassy areas. Clean. Neutral. Food. It was obvious the kitchen tried very hard. Some dishes were good, especially the vegan ones. Lots of fresh fruit, salad and ice cream. Evening meat of the day was usually good. Food repetitive and limited local varieties. Never hot. Alcohol and soft drinks. Local but were ok, bar staff nice. Awful plastic cups, very flimsy. Shuttle bus ran x3 a day to beach and town, last return very early. Bus often crowded and scruffy. Negatives. Under no circumstances book what the hotel describes as the economy double! No photos of this room appear to exist anywhere. Small is an understatement, and a small double bed is pushed up against a wall. The one bedside table is at an angle to be able to fit, hand-held smelly shower in a dingy shower room. Very cramped, dated, ugly, and hot. Also has the drains outside and room for one outside chair only. After some argument, we paid to upgrade. It is possible it was a mistake by our travel agents, however this was not the room we saw online during booking and certainly the word economy didnt appear anywhere. Upgraded room had toilet seat attached with velcro. Toilet leaked. We asked on 6 days for extra pillows, we gave up. It is not walkable to beach if you have any mobility issues at all. 800m but only in a straight line! Not by road. Questionable evening entertainment. Best by far was a cretan night. Worst was some form of 'guess the music'. Sunbed cushions often dirty. No kettle in the room. Tea and coffee not available overnight or early morning. We were the only native English speakers there. Not an issue but best to be aware.

Room is everything you need, good service and GREAT entertainment and I really enjoyed myself while staying here the food in the hotel is lovely and the staff are so helpful I have stayed here for a week now and honestly loved it I would highly recommend this hotel

Hotel was big and pools were good. Food was also good most of the time entertainment was great and location was okay would come back in the future. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed. Staff was also friendly and very helpful

Good hotel but I think it shouldn't have 4* max 3*. Rooms are clean, food could be better. Very nice Staff, in the bar or animation team they always smiling and asking is everything ok. Thank You Sonia, Lion and Milian (i hope i write correctly) for so nice time in the hotel :)

The best hotel in crete, najlepsze wakacje w tym miejscu, nie jest daleko do morza, pokoje w dobrym stanie i wyposazone w klimatyzacje, Animatorzy bardzo fajni ludzie zawsze pomocni i w dobrym humorze

British family away for a week at this resort, we had a brilliant time relaxing by the many pools, eating a wide variety of food including some Greek specialties, all inclusive drinks (local wine, beer, cocktails) throughout the day, and evening entertainment on the terrace with dancing, live performances, etc. Sonia from the animation was an absolute joy, she was so friendly and hosted some great activities throughout each day - I did the ping pong tournament and darts tournament that she introduced me to, which were both super fun. Thanks for your upbeat vibes, friendliness and enthusiasm towards me and my family! :) There is a free bus organised by the hotel to the nearest beach and local town that comes around every 2 hours. The rooms are quite simple but good value for money considering the price of our holiday. Lots of cute cats that come to play during the day and evening were a bonus as I love cats. Overall, a smashing experience that I would recommend!
