Hotels near Mt. Otakamori in Higashimatsushima

As a result of looking for an inn that can stay near ISHINOMAKI, there was no other vacancy, so use the hotel. The price is 8000 yen with breakfast. The room is simple and narrow compared to other business hotels. The noise is terrible day and night because the parking lot was in front of you. The sound and vibration of the person walking through the passage are also very large. I think that soundproofing measures are probably not good. The carpet on the floor is very dirty and very dirty. The bed is very thin, and when you sit, the mattress shrinks and the butt reaches the plate. Even if you sleep, you will turn back and your arm hurts on the plate. The bathroom is a standard unit bus, but the mold is conspicuous and the cleanliness is not felt. Also, the drainage is bad, and the water surface of the bath tub rises during the shower. The bad drainage is similar to the toilet, and there is a knack for the way of water flowing. I am glad that there is a amenities and a deodorant spray. There is a humidifier, but the water has only about 3 h, so it is difficult to use while sleeping. There is also a refrigerator, but it was difficult to use because the packing was broken and the cold air leaked. Breakfast is not worth eating. White rice feels like eating a kiritapo before baking, and the grains are crushed and heavy. Only the meaning of the side dishes is not understood. By the way, miso soup is red miso and the ingredients are daikon, but it is too boiled and the smell of soybeans is terrible.

It's newly built and has a scent of wood in about a year. Clean, attentive and delicious food is all available. The staff were at home and there was no tension peculiar to the hotel (laughs). The room service draft beer had snacks and was attentive. Although it was cheap by nearly 10,000 from the long-established inn in Matsushima, all the dishes were elaborate kaiseki dishes. This is a highly recommended hotel.

We have had the loveliest of stays here! It is a very friendly hotel, and it felt like an authentic modern Japanese experience. The buffet for dinner and breakfast were amazing, with lots of fresh fish and salads. We were travelling for a special birthday, and the hotel kindly gave us a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate, which was a lovely touch! The onsen (sento) was quite an experience. It is separate for men and women, and has a beautiful outdoor pool with views over the bay, which is highly recommended! We had a Mountain View room, but this didn’t detract from the enjoyment at all. There is not really a bar to have pre-dinner drinks, but there is a gift shop which sells beer and wine to enjoy in your room. Overall, it was a great experience and we’d highly recommend it to all travellers!

I think the biggest strength is that there is a hot spring facility. I thought the price setting was also exquisite. The cost was just under 15,000 yen per person for 1 child and 2 adults, including breakfast. Before making the reservation, I was worried about whether to make a reservation because the room seemed small, but when I actually saw it, the furniture was well arranged and it was easy to use. The abundance of electrical outlets was also helpful. The surrounding area seems to be a factory area, there are a lot of trucks, and smoke is coming out from what looks like a factory, so I wonder if I chose the wrong hotel. However, the service and ideas made up for the negative aspects, and after staying at the hotel, I felt that it was a great hotel. I would also like to stay at another Dormy Inn. Dormy Inn, which is close to the station, has a paid parking lot, but this one, which is far from the station, has free parking. There are some hotels that charge a fee even though they are far from the station, and I don't stay at those hotels (lol).They don't seem to be trying to provide service that is up to date with the times. For breakfast, there were signs introducing Sendai's specialties, so it was easy to understand and I enjoyed the meal. I also like the taste. Some people said it had a strong flavor, but I think the real pleasure of traveling is enjoying the seasonings tailored to the region. Unfortunately, Sasakama was out of stock 30 minutes after breakfast started. I bought some at the station, but I think it would have been better if I had eaten it for breakfast instead of eating it straight out of the bag. The Yonaki Ramen served in the evening was a simple soy sauce ramen that was delicious. It's exciting to eat together at night.

This time, I took two consecutive shots from the end of April to May. It is excellent in cost value and is an inn that can be easily stayed. The room was a smoking room, but it was a deodorant response and the air conditioning was individual and comfortable. The thing that I couldn't get 5 points was that the bathroom and toilet were small and the sound of the next room was worried. Also, the parking lot was not stopped on the premises, but they guided me where I walked for about 3 minutes.

Cospa is very good. You can stay without worrying about everything you need.

By private car: Located about 25 km from Sendai and Ishinomaki along Route 45, and about 100 km from Kesennuma. By train: About 20 minutes on foot from Matsushima Station on the JR Tohoku Main Line, or Matsushima Kaigan Station on the JR Senseki Line. It takes about 15 minutes on foot from the station. Within a 5-minute walk from the hotel, there is Fukuura Bridge (a pier to Fukuura Island), a sightseeing boat dock, and Zuiganji Temple, making it a base for sightseeing in Matsushima. The hotel building faces the national highway, but the entrance is in the back of the alley on the sea side from the national highway, so if you follow the tourist guidebook, you can reach the hotel without any problems. The building is located between the coastline and the national highway along the cliff, so it has a slightly complicated structure and there are differences in elevation, but there is almost always a slope installed where there is a step. The interior is barrier-free. The hotel itself has a long history and the exterior of the building still feels old, but the interior is kept clean and the single rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is also a large public bath and an open-air bath, and Matsushima Onsen is a relatively new natural hot spring that was mined after 2000, and the bath has two temperature levels (there is also a sauna, but due to various circumstances, currently on hiatus). This time we arrived in Sendai late at night on the Shinkansen, so it was only a breakfast plan, but the breakfast buffet has a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, and some of the tables are partitioned so you can relax without worrying about your surroundings. good. Even though I checked in late at night, they kindly waited on me, such as issuing coupons, and the free drink bar for guests was open in the lobby until around 21:00, which was very helpful. Hotels around Sendai Station are particularly expensive these days, so I felt that it was the best hotel for business purposes besides sightseeing because it was possible to stay at a reasonable price with a large communal bath and dinner and breakfast.

There are many sofas in the lobby and the terrace is nice. The rooms are also small with 26 rooms. Thank you for your diligence in pick-up and drop-off. The meal is a Japanese kaiseki and Western style is also adopted. It was delicious from aperitif to water confectionery. 😋 The hot springs are not hot either. Miharashi Observation Bath is especially recommended. Also, when the corona wreck calms down, I would like to bother you again. What an ice bowl!　

We stayed at the route inn in ISHINOMAKI city on a business trip. It is located in a difficult location for access by public transportation, but if you are a car, the surrounding area is a fairly convenient location because it is an area with commercial facilities. Because it was during the summer vacation, it was quite high operation, but the customer service was good and I was able to spend it comfortably. Because of the convenience of work, I often came back to the hotel late at night, so it was a little unfortunate that I didn't use the public bath. Breakfast was very good because it was a variety and taste of enough dishes.
