Nice place, good location, good service at the reception and restaurant....but room cleaning is not good.

As your company knows to well, my wife and did not go, as we tried to cancel due to the wedding being off, and your company said oh how terrible but we cant give your money back, and just stole it from me and my wife, and now you want me to give you and the hotel a nice review, how I ended on your site in the first place as went through to booking .com not you! And as for Premier Inn we will never book another hotel with them again, so take this review and post it where the Sun dont shine!!

After staying at this hotel before and us enjoying it we booked again as we have family not far from this hotel but we were very disappointed with this stay as the family room was far too hot, the bar was closed from 11-6 which was a shame after a long drive and only being able to check in from 3 we couldn't even sit in the bar and enjoy a drink and relax after the long drive as it was closed and only one staff member was seen. The rooms need an uplift as its very basic. We had 2 rooms on our booking which we thought we would be close to one another but we're on different floors on the other side of the building. The shower was amazing thou :)

Good stay in quite clean room. Attentive staff and breakfast as advertised. Location good and central. Unfortunately our ‘good night sleep’ was hampered by a hot stuffy room. Windows did not open at all (not even a sage limited amount) and room temp control did not go below 19degrees but also kept switching off so temp was up in mid twenties and very humid. If this was fixed I would stay again.

Excellent hotel.. good value for money... was a short trip but Excellent... the manager is an asset to the company... he was always there.. the meal deal is a highlight for business travellers. Parking, location,rooms, staff everything is good...

I’ve stayed in many Premier inn Hotels and this was the worst. Parking in Dovecot car park and walking down the smelliest stairs to get to the hotel was not pleasant at all! When I got to the room, there were empty bottles of milk on the windowsill. I was promised a great nights sleep, and oh did I get the opposite! The guests in the room above, through no fault of their own had the creakiest floorboards! Called down to main reception, and was told they would have a word! This did not happen till a while later, and even then it didn’t stop till the early hours of the morning! Not happy at all.

We have stayed a few places locally before moving into our new place and this hotel has it all. Food is not basic. It’s fresh and delicious. Breakfast is tremendous. More so staff are friendly and very helpful
