"Great location (about 20min walk from the old quarter), clean and relatively new studio. There is filtered water available, and the staff was friendly and responsive. The bed was comfortable and the place clean. Hot water was working well and there is AC and washing machine. The internet is a bit slow and although there is a stove, there are no kitchen equipment or tools to cook. Only a kettle and 2 glasses. Plenty of restaurants and markets nearby and in a local part, which is nice."

"【Conclusion】Go for it, everyone! 【Journey】Initially, I was hesitant because of the low rating, but then I saw some highly-praised recommendations from my 'Xiaohongshu' sisters. Finally, on the way from the airport to the city, looking at my suitcase and hiking backpack, I was stressed. I just wanted to drop off my luggage before I could really enjoy myself. It's a 7-minute walk from the 86 bus stop, and by the little bridge, I had my first two nights of Pho. 【Room】The overall space is quite large, like a well-renovated apartment, with a separate bedroom, living room, dining table, and bathroom. The most touching thing is the large refrigerator, which is perfect for breastfeeding mothers to store milk. 【Breakfast】The rooftop terrace is absolutely amazing! I can imagine how beautiful it would be during lotus season. You could easily spend a whole morning here just gazing at the lake. The noodle soup for breakfast was delicious, I wanted another bowl. The brewed coffee and black tea were both good, quite suiting Chinese tastes. The rice noodles and eggs are ordered à la carte from the kitchen. 【Location】It's on an artificial island in West Lake, and the surrounding restaurants are lively all year round. It's a 30-minute walk to the Old Quarter, which I did after watching the last water puppet show of Thang Long on the first night."

AAbx1-1One of the most beautiful apartments I’ve stayed in, super clean, very comfortable bed, nice shower and bathroom also! I couldn’t be happier with this accommodation and the host is amazingly friendly and was happy to solve any and all problems (if there was any which there wasn’t)!!! 100% recommend staying

GGuest UserEarly check-in was a nice touch! The staff are very kind and helpful. One of the caretakers is so jolly and friendly; even though she doesn't speak English, her positive energy was great. The place is fully equipped with appliances, including a front-load washing machine which is essential for longer stays. It’s also conveniently located near Lotte Center Hanoi, which has a great supermarket. They offer luggage storage and even gave me a free late check-out. I booked via Trip.com, so I'm not sure if these perks apply to other booking sites, but it was a fantastic experience!

AAnastasiiaA wonderful family humstay, with its atmosphere. Very hospitality hosts, will always come to help and quickly solve all the issues. We rested with a family with two children two nights after a long flight, then flew to Nyachang. They lived in a family four-bedroom room. The room is perfect, but there is no refrigerator. However, you can use the hosts' refrigerator. It is still convenient that the hosts provide a transfer from the airport, to go about 20-25 minutes. The cost of 200k dongs. The location of the hotel is not very successful, far from the city center and all the sights. The feeling that somewhere on a pin in some village) But you can call a taxi, about 200-250k dongs, the owners with it will also be able to help. We went to Lake Returned Sword, there is very beautiful in the evening. In general, we liked, for this price (we paid about 1800r for two nights for the room), all super. The shops are nearby.

RrobertokingI haven't stayed at any hotels in the area, so I can't compare prices. Anyway, this is the normal price. The surrounding area is safe. This area is considered a relatively affluent area, so I feel safe. Prices are similar to those in China.

CCookie0424We had an amazing stay at Skylux Hanoi Homestay and cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was top-notch—a huge shoutout to Henry, who was incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home with great local tips. The highlight of our arrival was finding out we’ve been upgraded from a superior queen room to a deluxe suite by the owner himself!! The suite was incredibly spacious, spotless, and very functional. I especially loved having a balcony; watching the hustle and bustle of the Old Quarter from above was a real highlight of my trip. The location is also unbeatable. It’s right in the heart of the city, just a short walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and St. Joseph’s Cathedral, meaning everything I wanted to see was right on my doorstep. Downstairs, there’s a really cool cocktail bar with a great vibe (and a very cute resident corgi!) which was the perfect spot to unwind after exploring. If you’re looking for a place that is affordable, clean, and feels like a home away from home in Hanoi, this is it. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

GGuest UserI was urgently looking for a place to stay for one night in Hanoi. It's suitable for a single night, and I'm glad my main stay was elsewhere. Pros: There genuinely is a lake view, the location is close to the center, there are tons of cafes nearby, a shopping mall isn't far, and there's a mini-market close by. Cons: It took me a long time to find the check-in location. There are other 'lake view' apartments nearby, so it's best to rely on the address rather than just the name. On the ground floor, there are motorbikes and bicycles, and a spiral staircase immediately leads up to the rooms without any separate space (no elevator! I had to carry my suitcase up to the 4th floor)). Check-in (reception desk) is in an adjacent building. I only found this out through trial and error after searching around. It was very noisy, making it hard to fall asleep. For some reason, the window was covered by shutters, and the balcony door was opaque, so the room was dark without the lights on. In the room, the furniture was in good condition, and the room itself felt cozy (I've attached photos). The bed linen and towels were in good shape, but the plumbing in the bathroom was less than satisfactory. The bathroom is separate, located on the floor, meaning you have to leave your room. I doubt it's ever cleaned; there were ants. The shower, like in many places, is just a showerhead aimed at the toilet. In the room: there's Wi-Fi, a small fridge, a kettle, and a large mirror. Bottled water wasn't provided. Besides one glass, there was no other tableware. If you just need a place to stay for one night, this option will do. In the morning, you can have coffee on the balcony or at the nearby cafes with a beautiful view!

GGuest UserI really liked the location of this place in how it is near a lot of food, fruit, and vegetable stands. I also liked how it is near a lot of mini stores where I can go pick up things that I need. Owner is very nice and loans me things that I needed. She is very respectful to me calling me sir. Hotel maid was very friendly to be around. I like how there was a portable convection stove for me to cook things with. I like how there were silverware, chopsticks, and dishes that I can use to eat my food with. Very good deal to use the washer where it only costs 20,000 dong for the first time and free for additional uses. I liked how it was near that big Winmart grocery store. Hotel room was very clean. I liked how it had this small space where I can hang my clothes up to dry which was perfect because it was directly underneath the air conditioning unit of the room upstairs where it gives off the heat which dries it faster. Hotel always has a fresh clean set of towels available whenever I need it. Hotel always has toilet paper available whenever I need it. The only thing that I didn't like was that now and then, there are spiders, where I had to kill 2 of them. I also had to deal with a big spider on my last day. I am somebody that has a fear of spiders. I might comeback to this hotel in August, September, or beginning of next year when I comeback towards Hanoi in Vietnam and the situation fits for me.

Rryne.srjno problem with cleanliness, nice little balcony, too good for the price. there's also a projector to watch movie. the only thing that was not the same was that there was no washing machine as shown in the photo. a tip is to get Zalo first and contact the homestay via Zalo. they also allow you to check in around 30 min-1 hr early. some good sticky rice and supermarket nearby.

MMihaela CorinaI got there late at night due to a storm and flight delay. I could see something was wrong as the person behind the desk wasn't giving me a key but seemed in trouble. I thought that they gave away my room and I will have a paid reservation with no room to sleep in. As another person showed up and they talked a lot in front of me in Vietnamese I started to get really concerned. It was raining, I was tired, I paid for the room and the ride here. Eventually I was told that the heavy rain is getting through the roof in the room they have and it's leaking from the corner but the bed isn't affected. I was offered a full refund if I wanted to cancel it. The translation and my interpretation was that it's what they want me to do. I got upset. In the end I understood that I can take the room if I want too but it is not ideal now. I asked to see it and I was fine with it. Dripping from two corners and towels on the floor to catch it. I'm not picky and I was too tired to care. No wet bed so I was ok. I just am only suggesting that in the future they explain right away the situation and offer either full refund if the guest doesn't want to stay or partial refund if staying but inconvenienced. Anyway, besides that, the place is near the airport, a 50,000 motorbike ride away. There are a few small stores and places to eat nearby. Besides the unfinished construction inside the building, that doesn't look appealing the room seemed clean. For the price is not a bad deal, even with a hard to start shower and a bathroom door handle out. :)
