Attracted by its intriguing name, I decided to give EAST Hotel a shot, and let me tell you—it was love at first sight! As I stepped into the lobby, the warm color tones wrapped around me like a cozy embrace, instantly setting a delightful vibe. I noticed some locals lounging in the coffee shop, deeply engrossed in their books, creating a scene that was just too “dope” for words. The atmosphere was electric yet peaceful—a perfect balance.
Entering my room was like stepping into a little slice of magic. In a city known for its tight spaces, the room felt surprisingly spacious and inviting. It was clear that the designer had put in serious thought and creativity to transform the compact space into something quite remarkable. Every corner had its purpose, leaving me in awe!
Just down the street, I discovered a giant shopping center bursting with life, plus an array of food and drink options that could make anyone’s taste buds dance. Whether I craved street food or a chic café, choices were abundant, making it a foodie’s paradise.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, I settled into bed, soaking in the view outside my window. With the city lights twinkling like stars spilled across the earth, it made me feel like I was gazing upon some poetic scene straight from Shakespeare's quill—“With yonder light, the fair Hong Kong shines like a jewel in the night, offering solace to the weary traveler.”
In the end, if I had to sum up the essence of travel, I’d say, “The journey opens our hearts and minds, revealing the true beauty of the world before us.” EAST Hotel perfectly embodied that sentiment. I can’t wait to return!

My family came to spend CNY with me and I reside in HK. Upon check in, reception was rude without any greetings while we waited for a good 5 minutes in front of her. The check in took nearly 30mins and I was told they didn’t book in the room type I paid for when I questioned why it had taken her so long. I was also told the “CNY greetings” only started on 29th, so does that mean we didn’t deserve a quick hello or even eye contact when it was CNY eve day, or any day for that matter??
I then made a complaint and was attended to with a much better response and attitude.
The very beginning of my family’s stay in HK for their short visit was poor and gave them a negative impression. Given this was also a special trip, it was extremely disappointing for me to witness how it went for them the moment they arrived at the hotel (with me). It is not fair to us at all and the service standard was not acceptable.

Given my previous stay at the hotel in August 2024 which I really liked, I decided to stay at this hotel again in Nov 2024. The rooms were clean, spick and span, housekeeping did a great job. Location wise, it is actually not too far from Central Hong Kong via MTR and thus is a good balance with time, cost, and distance. I look forward in staying at this hotel for subsequent visits

Our experience at Hyatt Centric is unforgettable! My partner and I celebrated our anniversary in HK and we booked this place for our last night in the city. During our stay, we ended up wishing that we booked more nights! The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating and the location was super convenient since the shops, MTR, and bus stops were just a walk away. We opted for in-room dining since we were too tired to go out for dinner and I must say, the food was great! It was a bit pricey but I understand it's not just the food we're paying for, but the experience as well. The view from our room was great and the complimentary cake warmed our hearts. We hope to come back again someday. Thank you, Hyatt Centric!

In Hong Kong, where land is at a premium, the rooms are large and spacious, very close to the subway station and the pier, and the transportation is convenient;
Clean and hygienic, the service is also satisfactory;
The surrounding environment is very dense with residential areas. The downstairs is very close to the vegetable market, seafood, chicken, duck and fish trading market, so there will inevitably be some strange feelings and smells.

Llim2024.11.20
Still one of our fave hotels as it is in our old neighbourhood, with great food and amenities nearby. Location is fab as it is near enough to Causeway Bay to walk, and yet on the quieter side. Our room on the 18th floor was a good size, with a view towards Victoria Park.
The beds were comfortable, and wifi was strong. Housekeeping was done daily. Filtered water was available from a machine at the end of the corridor. The bathroom was typically HK/China, in that you bathe while standing in the bathtub. There was some wear and tear here eg loose tap handle but that is easily rectified.
Lifts can be a tad slow at busy times so factor that in if you are in a hurry.

Outstanding
GGuest UserI am a loyal Royal Plaza Hkg guest and i have stayed more than 10 times over the years. Love the spacious room, perfect for our family of 4.
This trip , our family went to Shenzhen first before Hong Kong and was disappointed to find out that Royal Plaza Hkg cannot match the comfort level of a 4* hotel we stayed in Shenzhen for 2/3 of the price.
1. The bathroom is dated and shower water pressure is super low. Oh, and the hair dryer …. i think it is product of the 80s. (My last hotel provides dyson)
2. the free shuttle service to tsim sar zui no longer available.
3. bed and pillows were comfortable, just the warm room (though i have adjusted to the lowest temperature possible) marred the experience of a good night sleep (for me). It was fine during the day, it warmer n stuffier during the wee hours. Like it or not, definitely a change of temperature before and after sleep.
GGuest UserGreat hotel with spacious rooms that are equipped with a kitchenette. Good quality toiletry products too. Staff are efficient and mostly friendly and the gym has most of the basic equipment you would expect from a hotel / serviced apartment. A few recommendations would be to improve the variety and quality of the breakfast, and to have more frequent shuttle services to cover the weekends as well. Prices are reasonable considering the location - which is not in the heart of Central but close enough that is within walking distance (though it is mostly on a slope). It is also close to a few attractions such as The Peak (the tram station is just 8 mins walk downhill from the hotel, or you can hike to the Peak in about 45 minutes from the hotel), the Botanical Garden (a stone's throw away), and all the bars and and restaurants in the SOHO / LKF / Midlevels areas.

MmiSs JMMy daughter and I had 10 hours layover in HK and decided to book a hotel near the airport. This hotel is perfect for its location, less than 10 mins away by taxi and offers FREE airport pick up/drop off service.
The room is relatively small but cosy and clean. The only thing I did not like is that they do not provide bottle of water in the room, however they provide an empty bottle that you can refill outside the room (which I couldn’t figure out where, since the hotel is big so I just ended up heating tap water using the kettle 😅)
Nevertheless, I liked that this hotel is accessible and near, less hassle if you have a super early flight the next day. 100% recommended! 😉
TThanawanThe hotel staff is very nice. Hotel is clean and provide a large room compared to other hotels near the city. The hotel has a shuttle bus service btw hotel and MTR. However, no survice after 8:00pm. Overall, We're happy during our stay here. Than you
KKaylaAThis hotel is typically small, as expected in Hong Kong, but it was clean, comfortable, and served the purpose to sleep in for a few nights. Location is very convenient. I was happy that it had a window!
Ttravel expert_Charterhouse is ideally located between CWB and Wanchai districts. Female front desk staff is professional with cheerful manner. Room is reasonably large, with mini fridge and bath tub. Panoramic view is a bonus.
JJaneth Penilla101percent very clean I like the room very simple but nice ..also the view very nice can see the view of city ❤️ but hope nextime have a personal kit for body hygiene 🪥🪥🪥🪥 but all is very nice 💯
MManta1Resort is an inflated term. Pool closed, spa closed, rooms are upstairs but there is no elevator so be ready to carry your bags. Small washer and dryer in the sauna room, outdated fitness equipment. Weird 'token' system for using the 'resort' things like washer or sauna.Interesting little game area downstairs, a couple kayaks and bikes to rent. Few real amenities that would make this a ”resort”. It's a decent hotel.
The rooms are clean but the windows don't open so it gets very stuffy, the fridge froze everything and the bathroom is tiny and dated.My view was gross, so I kept the shade down.
When the tide is out there is a beach, it is close to the ferry pier and a very pretty view when the construction is not going. The sun rises right in front of the hotel!
Restaurant has a large menu for dinner, but only one choice for breakfast (set meal or nothing).
What saves this place is the staff! They are wonderful, lovely people!
RRichelle SantiagoThe hotel is okay nearby the company meeting that we attended. It was my first trip overseas and I enjoyed it. I was excited and happy that I managed to travel overseas for the first time with my own hard earned money. It was possible with Abit help from our tenant's wife she gave small token of appreciation for my graduation. Did not expect to have this gift from someone I recently just met.
