"On my third night here, I really appreciated how convenient this hotel is. There are tons of food options right downstairs, and the nearest McDonald's is open 24/7, which was perfect for a late-night snack when I was craving a Shogun Burger! The next day, it was super quick to get to Kai Tak for a movie – only two stops away. After the movie, I enjoyed a lovely stroll nearby, it was incredibly relaxing!"

"1. The transportation is quite convenient; it's a 5-minute walk from Wan Chai MTR station. If you're coming from Shenzhen by MTR, get off at 'Exhibition Centre' station, and it's a ten-minute walk. 2. The location is excellent; the 'ding ding' tram stop is right outside the hotel. You can take it to Admiralty Station and then catch bus 15 to Victoria Peak, or transfer to the Peak Tram at Admiralty Station. 3. Daily necessities are easily accessible nearby. There's a McDonald's, Wellcome Supermarket, and various restaurants just across the street. 4. The hotel staff provide great service; both the front desk and the cleaning ladies are very welcoming and enthusiastic."

Hotel near North Point and Quarry Bay,Hong Kong
Hotel Alexandra is a design-led hotel located on the North Point waterfront in Hong Kong. Set to open in 2021, the hotel intertwines the affluent lifestyle of the Victorian era with levels of personalised service and amenities. Features a picturesque lobby adorned with lavish chandeliers, 840 artisanal rooms and suites suitable for 2 to 6 persons, enchanting dining outlets, a well-appointed fitness centre, an outdoor swimming pool, five customizable meeting rooms and an impeccable grand ballroom that offers door to door effortless drop off on the Lobby Floor. Surrounded by a wide selection of local dining as well as cultural and historical site seeing attractions, the hotel is approximately 2-minutes’ walk from MTR Fortress Hill Station, an easy 8-minute commute from Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, and 40-minutes from the Hong Kong International Airport.

"This was my first stay at the AKI Hong Kong - MGallery, located right by the Fortress Hill MTR B exit. The only downside was that there are no escalators at the MTR exit, which made carrying luggage a bit of a struggle and climbing the stairs tough for my elderly family members. However, transportation is generally convenient with the MTR and buses. Walking to the hotel via the pedestrian bridge is comfortable, and you don't have to worry about the weather. The front desk staff were professional and attentive. The hotel lobby is grand and a great spot for photos. The room, on the other hand, has a practical, modern style, a stark contrast to the lobby. The room was tidy and thoughtfully designed with features like a storage cabinet, a luggage rack, and a small shelf in the shower for toiletries. The hotel's location is excellent, with many restaurants and large supermarkets nearby. The buffet dinner and breakfast exceeded my expectations. The seafood, sashimi, stewed soup, and desserts were all delicious, and the price was very reasonable. I'll definitely be back to enjoy the buffet with friends again."

AAilvyoudeMinnieMinThe location is really good, I recommend it for families with kids on vacation. We took the high-speed train to West Kowloon, made one transfer, and arrived directly at Whampoa Station. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the subway exit to the hotel, which is quite convenient. A taxi would be around 80-something dollars. Whampoa Station has plenty of food and entertainment options. Within a 10-minute walk from the hotel, there are many restaurants like cha chaan tengs, noodle stalls, and Japanese eateries. Shopping is also convenient, with places like Toysland for toys and Don Quijote. On our first day, we went to Mong Kok, but after a quick stroll, we headed back to Whampoa as it was more comfortable with fewer people and better food options. The hotel rooms are spacious, and the pool is beautiful! There's also a shuttle bus service to Tsim Sha Tsui and West Kowloon. BTW, we are a family of four, but only booked for two people. Upon check-in, we were informed that children over 13 would incur an additional charge of 500, but they could provide an extra bed.

GGuest UserI had a great experience at Explorer Hotel. They offer a good variety of in-house activities, and it's super convenient for getting to Disneyland. I particularly appreciated the mosquito repellent sprays available along the way. A special shout-out to the front desk staff – we arrived around 12 PM, and they were incredibly helpful, making our check-in seamless. The hotel's shops also have some great stuff to buy. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next Disney trip.

AAnonymous UserThe service was excellent, and there are many bus routes to the shopping mall on the other side. The sea-view room truly offers a full sea view, and the bathtub is perfectly situated. I bought bath salts from Fusion in the mall, and bathing in the hotel was incredibly comfortable 🙏. The best part was that there were so many foreigners around when we visited, it felt like being abroad. I hope it stays an expat community! 👍 Communicating in English the whole time really made it feel like a vacation. 👍

GGuest UserI stayed one night at The Empire Hotel Causeway Bay in Hong Kong, and overall it was a very comfortable experience. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate for a solo traveler. It had everything I needed, despite its small size, and the layout was well-organized and practical. Being on the 30th floor, I had a small window with a nice view, which was a good bonus. The front desk, concierge, and even the housekeeping staff were all attentive and friendly. Communication in Chinese was seamless, and the hotel did its best to accommodate my small requests. The location is very convenient, close to both bus stops and the MTR station (about a 10-minute walk). There's a refuse collection point across the street from the hotel, but it didn't really bother me, and it's not something the hotel can control anyway. The value for money is great, and the service is definitely commendable. I didn't try the in-house dining, so I can't comment on that. This is just my honest personal review.

SsamegasukiI booked a premium sea view room, but since it was on the 5th floor, the view wasn't as impressive as I'd hoped. The hotel is a 35-minute shuttle bus ride from Tsim Sha Tsui. If you're looking to enjoy the bustling city nightlife, I wouldn't recommend it, as the last shuttle bus is at 7:30 PM, leaving taxis as your only option. I knew from the website's amenities list that they were reducing plastic, so I brought my own toothbrush, expecting none to be provided. However, I found toothbrushes, slippers, and a hairdryer in the room. Hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner were also available. But there were no pajamas, so if you're planning a stay, you'll need to bring your own. The beach is right behind the hotel. I went for a walk at 5:30 AM and locals were already chatting and swimming. It's not a quiet beach, so if you're looking for a tranquil private beach experience, you might be disappointed. The shuttle bus stop from Tsim Sha Tsui was a bit hard to find. It's located in the basement of China Hong Kong City, where the taxi and bus stands are, and the entrance to China Hong Kong City serves as the waiting area. Even for hotel guests, it cost HKD 30 one way. The website stated that it was free for guests, but they definitely charged me. When I told the bellboy about the website saying it was free for guests, the bus driver overheard and made a 'why?' gesture, then angrily walked away. I felt like I was being treated as a liar. Eventually, the bellboy explained that guests who booked via an app are not eligible for the free ride. While I understood the explanation, their attitude was unpleasant. Although I recognize that misunderstanding the website's wording was my fault, this negative experience means I probably won't use this hotel again.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's air conditioning really needs a good clean. My travel companion has a sensitive nose and wasn't feeling great. Thanks to the front desk staff for the suite upgrade! Also, it's nice that you can decide on the spot if you want to add the breakfast buffet. One thing I'd like to point out: The restaurant staff didn't pay attention to whether guests had finished eating before leaving. They cleared all my food away, and I had to go get new items, which was inconvenient!

MMoonlight_5P0J7S6TThe shuttle bus stop is right outside Tsuen Wan Station, Exit B3, to your right once you're on the ground level. The hotel is next to Ting Kau Bridge, with two beaches nearby. If you enjoy walking, you can take a scenic stroll along the coastal road to Sham Tseng Village for some delicious roast goose. There's a bus for the return trip. For those who love a longer hike, you could set aside half a day to explore the 'Yuen Tsuen Ancient Trail' – the views from the observation deck are absolutely stunning. My only complaint was during the May Day holiday; with so many people, you get all sorts. Some guests were chatting quite loudly in the corridor early in the morning.

GGuest UserI arrived on a late flight and was looking for a place to stay for the night when I found and booked this hotel. I was very grateful that it was right by the immigration gate (the hotel entrance is connected, but the hallway is a bit long), especially since I was tired upon arrival. I had a no-breakfast plan, but since the hotel is connected to the airport, it was easy to grab breakfast. Check-in was relatively smooth and quick, and with the check-out box, I felt it would be fine even if I was in a hurry. The amenities were basic, but perfectly adequate for just sleeping. I was excited to see the runway view from the hallway. There were also many airport carts in the lobby and hallway, which I thought was convenient for bringing luggage directly to the room. I also remember the friendly staff at the cafe on the first floor. I would definitely use this hotel again if I have an early morning departure or a late-night arrival.

AAoaoanThe hotel is great, even though it's a bit old, the facilities are excellent. The room was spacious and clean. We watched the dragon boat performance during the Dragon Boat Festival, it was my first time seeing it and it was amazing! The hotel lobby is very large and even has a cafe.
