As I was staying for 4 nights, I was given a room which has common ammenities like a set of washing machine and dryer (which might be used to cleanup the other rooms' bedsheets after they have checked out). Room is small (no choice due to space constraints in Hong Kong). Other than the building which looks old and scary when you arrive back at the area at night, the flat / room is well-lit and looks very new. No cockroaches at the room I was given (as mentioned by some reviews) but there were a few ants here and there and I guess unavoidable due to it being a relatively old building. Most importantly, best to have a wechat acc, so you can communicate with the owner easily.

The hosts are hospitable. The language barrier was not an hindrance since they were very willing to meet our issues. I think our supposed to be room was given to another local family so we got a smaller room. The only issue is the elevator.

The place is comparatively spacious than most Hong Kong hostels. The place is clean and well-maintained. They have a digital door lock for security. They do housekeeping every day, cleaning the room, setting up the beds, and providing change of towels and toilet paper. Location-wise, they are also very near TST station, restaurants, and grocery stores, which is very convenient. I would highly recommend this place!

During the second morning of my stay I found a dying cockroach in my room. The staff came to deal with it immediately, assured me that there are no cockroaches in the hotel and that is due to the humidity. They then applied these tablets to the bottom door so that more do not come. The staff was nice. Wouldn’t stay here again.

I ordered over 500 at noon, but when I checked the app in the evening it showed over 300. We have repeatedly discovered that Ctrip is taking advantage of its old customers. If you choose a hotel twice, the price will be adjusted randomly. You can test it. It is estimated that it is not far from bankruptcy and will explode sooner or later. This is just a guesthouse with a high rating. Can you guys see if this bed sheet has been changed?

Environment: In the central area of Mong Kok, it is very convenient to go anywhere. The subway station is right next to it. Popular attractions can basically be reached in 10-20 minutes. Many popular shops are nearby, which is very convenient! ! Hygiene: Very clean. It feels like a better room in Hong Kong. It deserves a 5-point review. The review is really true! The room is very clean and tidy, and the bed is not dirty. It's very good! Service: When we arrived, we called the sister at the front desk very early to store our luggage. The attitude was very good! Later, when we checked in, the triple room was not booked, so the boss upgraded us to a triple room and asked us to contact him if we needed help. I feel that the person in charge of the hotel is very good! I am very happy to stay Facilities: The facilities are also very complete! Very convenient! I will continue to live here when I come to Hong Kong again!

The service is very good! I didn't bring an adapter, so I asked the store and got an immediate answer: the sockets in the room can be directly plugged into the two-pin plugs in the mainland. Our 2nd accommodation during our 4 days stay in HK. Rooms are daily maintained compared to the previous one we got. Given the language barrier, I always had to use google translate to ask her questions but the sweet lady tries her best to accommodate any question we have. They would clean your room without notice so if this is not your preference make sure you inform them so they won't budge in specially if you leave valuable stuff. For us, we did not mind. Hot water, not a problem. Location, tons of stores outside the building including a convenience store at the Ground Floor so late night purchases should not be a problem. SInce we left the previous accommodation prior check out date due to our early trip to Macau, we asked if we can just leave our luggages early (10AM prior to 2PM check in time) and she immediately gave us a room! I think this is ok for them specially if there is a vacant room available.

DdinaaaaSo we came as a family and at first I thought we only had three beds for four people booked. To my surprise there were four beds in our room, so everyone could sleep on their own. The room was a bit small though for four people with four big luggage bags but it worked out in the end. The bathroom was small but enough. What I didn’t like though was the wet bathroom style, meaning that when you shower, everything gets wet. But from what I’ve seen in other Hong Kong hotels, it’s just the same. It was a bit hard at first to find the stay, but because of someone’s review, we found it pretty quickly. The building itself looked a bit shabby (undergoing renovation) to be honest and made me a bit fearful at first, but it was very quiet and we didn’t meet too many people. What I have to commend though is the owner, a very nice older man, who waited for us since our check in was late. Upon asking he also left us an iron for the duration of our three day stay! Very nice people!

ZZi JingI was in HK for the first time and split my stay into 2 nights in Kowloon, 1 night in Macau, and then 3 nights on HK island. Honestly, this hotel impressed me the most. Let’s get the bad points out of the way first. This hotel is a small hotel on a building that leases their floors/units/spaces to other businesses, including this hotel and other hotels within the building. There are 3 elevators, 2 of them for passengers, whereby one serves odd numbered floors and the other serves even number floors. The last elevator is for freight when required that serves all floors. This means that sometimes you have to wait an absolutely long time to get back to your room. However, I also visited Chungking Mansion (another similar hotel building), and there it was so much worse so it’s not too bad here. Now to the good points, and there are a lot. The hotel room was actually kind of spacious. It’s not huge, but the area was a square, so you have more than enough room to open a suitcase or do a home workout (I did). The toilet was also spacious. There’s a space for showering, a toilet, and a sink, and you wouldn’t feel like you are squeezed for space. The location of this hotel is also a huge boon. It’s literally the building just beside the metro exit so it is super convenient. You are also on TST MTR station, which means it is super convenient to go anywhere, including crossing to HK island either by MTR or ferry. There is a freaking good Michelin featured shengjian bao shop just downstairs of the hotel, and it was so delicious I ate there so many times I didn’t even have time to try the other delicious looking cafes and restaurants. Service was also pretty good. It’s a pretty mainland China styled hotel. Communication is done through WeChat, with a very friendly and helpful staff who answers promptly. Bed was also very comfortable honestly. For this price, I wish I only stayed at this hotel my entire trip.

AAzaa13I didn’t expect much even i was bit worried after booking hotel i checked reviews and it seemed negative. When i arrived it was actually better than I expected. You can keep your luggage for free. Owner sort of upgraded my room from shared bathroom to private bath room. I am very delighted to accept. Room is confined and small, but that is expected in this area also with this budget. I am happy that I received good value.

GGuest UserI want to try and be balanced. I hate to give this place too much hate. I feel like they’re doing the best they can with the cards they’ve been dealt and the price reflects that. This being my first time to Hong Kong, I was not aware of what to expect price wise. That said, I want people to who read this to have more reasonable expectations than what the 4-5 star ratings want you to have. Location. I suppose it’s in a good location of the city but it’s in an apartment above a market like setup. As i walked into the building i was immediately pounced upon by individual after individual who seemed to be trying to rent me their own rooms. I had to just ignore them and keep walking. I don’t like being rude, but I’ve found this is the easiest way to escape. I never feel safe in situations like this especially late at night. The room was small and generally clean. I’ve left hotels in the past that were just horrid, this isn’t one of those. The mattress was comfortable but the bed was short. I feel the pillows and blankets were “clean “. But they were clean to the standards that I wash my own bedding. They were very white, but with some obvious stains that haven’t quite washed out, and one pillow appeared to have something like a blood stain visible through the pillow case. You will want to bring some sort of sleeping bag or liner. I was happy i had one. The bathroom had no toiletries. No soap, shampoo, bidet/paper. The toilet bowl was black inside and immediately began to smell of sewer gas as i was urinating. It leaked when i flushed it. Gave me quite a start. The stench stayed around for 10-20 minutes or so. After that i didn’t want to do anything else in the bathroom. I used a bottle of water to brush my teeth. I don’t know. If you’re looking at the outside of the building during the day, it’s what you’d expect. If you’re familiar with the cost of living in Hong Kong, it’s probably also what you’d expect at this price. If you just want a relatively clean place to sleep, and don’t want to spend a lot for hotels that reviewers say have the same issues, this will work. Just make sure you have your sleeping bag liner. For this price, I’d probably stay there again if they fixed the plumbing.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, just a few dozen meters away from Exit A1 of Yau Ma Tei. There are tea restaurants and restaurants downstairs. Breakfast and dinner are very convenient, and it is convenient to go anywhere. The room is larger than similar hotels. The two beds are 1.35 meters tall, but the quilt is a bit thin. AAnonymous UserI didn't really expect much so I wasn't that disappointed. But I get where the bad reviews are coming from. If you're expecting a hotel service, you'd be disappointed. My room was really small. Rooms are situated in what seems to be an apartment unit made into small partitions. I booked a bunk bed, but I got ”upgraded” to a solo room but without a door. They just covered the door with a bedsheet haha. From what I could observe, that's the only room without door. Thought of transferring to bunk bed room a night after, but I thought I prefered having my own space even with the makeshift door. So I stayed for the next 2 nights. The owner replied fast via whatsapp. I requested for self check-in, and instructions were on point and easy to follow. At first, I thought the room I went it belonged to somebody else because there was a small luggage under the bed. Told this to the host and he said it's his. So maybe the room I was assigned to wasn't meant to be for guests. There was an electric fan in the room. What stands out is its LOCATION. Very near the subway, around 2 min walk to the exit. 7eleven and mcdo nearby. Famous dimsum resto called dim dim sum is in the same building. Ichiran ramen mong kok branch is also nearby. Hostel also has washing machine, so you can do your laundry here. Shower with heater, shampoo and body wash are availbable in the two showerooms/toilets. Overall, it is great for backpackers who just needs a place to sleep in.

TTonySayHiI think this is one cool model for all the hostels to learn. Not very big slot for each to sleep, but just enough. Well organized. Clean and cozy. What need to be updated, is the cables inside the slot, plug and lighting stuff. And the wooden materials is hard for my knees to withstand when climbing into it.
