Variety of restaurants/places to drink outside of the hotel away from the busy central area.

The room size was OK. I was in a Deluxe room on the 2nd floor with balcony and view to the inner courtyard. I had specifically asked for a quiet room on a higher floor (arrival was on a Friday, stayed until Sunday). During both nights there were festivities going on in the hotel (first a bachelor party and the next night the wedding). The noise (music, etc.) in the evening and during the night was unacceptable for such a high standard hotel. Even when the windows were closed, the noise was clearly audible. Around midnight I went to the reception to complain - both nights. I was told that this event would go on until at least 3 a.m. I was offered to move to another room - but I did not accept that, since I expected to be disturbed by the noise in most rooms. I was told that at my check-out a manager would be available to take in person my complaint - which, of course did not happen. On Saturday after lunch I wanted to have coffee/cake with a friend in the hotel restaurant/terrace. It took the waiter almost 20 minutes to come and take our order. When arriving at our table, he just told us that there is a QR code which we need to scan in to see the menu. We did not place an order and left - very disappointing experience! Another issue was that I was travelling alone and was put in a room with connecting doors, which I believe is not suitable for solo travellers, esp. for females. I informed the hotel about all the above and received only very poor replies. The noise situation has to be improved - if a hotel does not have suitable rooms for parties, then don't rent them out when you have paying guests who at least want to sleep at midnight.

We arrived on EuroStar in Brussels Midi and did not have a good impression of Brussels at first (note to self, next time take the metro or over ground train (operator IC) to Brussels Central which is literally five minutes walk down the slight hill to the Novotel hotel. We finally found the hotel literally 200 yards from the main square (Grote Markt). What a lovely welcome when we got to reception. The receptionists were just lovely, so friendly and welcoming. Embarrassingly their English was just so good. The restaurant employees were very welcoming too and they paid the appropriate attention when required, they too were great. The breakfast chef also came out periodically and topped food up which was good to see. Housekeeping was great and one morning the room service assistant had actually realised we had gone to breakfast and made our room up while we away at breakfast. Location - this hotel couldn't be better placed. Grand Square literally 200 yards away, Grand Central station five minutes walk (if that) up a slight hill. Summary - I would stay at the Novotel (off Grand Place) on a future visit without hesitation. A really well appointed and well placed hotel with really lovely friendly staff. Coming from the trade we appreciate the total effort the staff put in and thank them very much for making our stay so welcoming.

I am a marriott titanium member (over 70 nights a year in marriott hotels for nearly seven years now) . This is my first stay at Courtyard (not EU) Brussels. I would like to thank Ali who came to pick me up at the airport. He showed up on time, he was pleasant and curteous and made me instantly forget how stressfull the day had been up to then. Thank you Ali. As for the hotel itself: the check in was smooth, the room clean, the burger in the restaurant just what the doctor ordered, the Triple carmelite cold and reasonably priced. The hotel is conveniently located close to the NATO, EUROCONTROL and the airport and the good people of the hotel will take you to any of these places because the customer comes first. Again, thank you Ali for being such a good ambassador of my favorite brand .

The B****y by Warwick made for a very comfortable and reasonably priced stay for two nights in Brussels. We came to visit family in Belgium but the family we usually stay with all had covid-19. So we had to make a hotel reservation at the last minute (actually from the airport in Doha while waiting for our connecting flight). The hotel is very well located. In an area of Brussels that is out of the most touristic parts of the city, but which is surrounded by parks and interesting neighborhoods. And very easy to walk or take the tram to the centre of the city. The staff could not be more accommodating. As other reviewers have noted, the décor is ”classic” and not contemporary. But the beds are very comfortable. and the garden terrace in back makes for a very pleasant place to have breakfast, or tea or a drink in the afternoon or early evening. This is the 2nd time that we have stayed here. And very much enjoyed both of our stays.

The most convenient hotel in Brussels, the Central Railway Station is right opposite the hotel. It is super convenient to catch the train. You can just walk there 5 minutes before driving. It is also very convenient to go to attractions. The main attractions are all within a 15-minute walk. It is only two blocks away from the Grand Square. There is also Carrefour next to the hotel, and supplies are also very convenient.
The room facilities are not as good as the domestic Hilton, but they are pretty good in Europe. The key is that the tap water in Belgium is better than that in Germany. You can drink hot water with very few white floating objects.
The hotel breakfast is continental style with not many varieties. For people with Chinese stomachs, it is not cost-effective. It's better to buy instant noodles from Carrefour next door and eat comfortably.
In short, choosing this Hilton in Brussels should be the best choice. It is very convenient to go to Ghent, Bruges, Antwerp, and other cities in the Netherlands. You can go there in the morning and return in the evening. The cities in Belgium are very small, and you can walk around in 2-4 hours. It's over. The Belgian railways are also very user-friendly. If you buy a ticket for the same day, you can board any train as long as the destination is the same (the ticket does not include the driving time, station or train number, it only shows the date and which city you are going to). There are You can do this if there is an empty seat, and you can get off and play for a while and get on again without having to buy another ticket.

Before booking this hotel currently be advised that the lobby is under complete renovation and there is a temporary registration desk on the ground floor of the hotel. Additionally, they are installing new elevators, however the existing elevators are very old and one of them wouldn’t service the floor I was staying on. The rest of the hotel has been completely upgraded, with very nice rooms. The main issue was that Belgium was under a heat wave while I was visiting with temperatures in the high 80s. My air conditioner was blowing warm air and I asked three different times to have it fixed to no avail. I ended up sleeping in a very hot room with the windows opened and had to listen to very loud crowds which apparently congregate all night on the street below, so know that the “historic views”come at a price with loud noise. I live in Chicago so I am used to noise at night, but constant loud conversation and laughing one level below is very bothersome. The breakfast is being served in the executive lounge, so for Marriott elites just be forewarned that the breakfast is very crowded with all hotel guests being served in the lounge, however the quality of the breakfast was nice with very friendly staff. This hotel will be nice when they finish it — just be forewarned about the street noise and staff who will not fix the air conditioning, creating a very undesirable stay from a Marriott Platinum Elite guest.

We stayed on a Saturday to Monday in June, reception staff let us check in just after 11:30am which was really nice. The room was great and spacious, bed very comfy and large, air con worked perfectly for a hot weekend, the shower was amazing and good power, also the lovely L’Occitane products!! The hotel is modern and clean, good breakfast, lovely lounging bar area outside - although expensive, the espresso martini was a good one and I enjoyed the club sandwich. A couple of times our vodka was forgotten & we were just given soft drinks but they sorted it at the bar, a shame that the cheaper vodka brands were all gone though.. Louise is a good area and also not a far walk to the main grand place central area too. Our favourite restaurant nearby was colonel steakhouse, there are also lots of shops and bars. I wish we stayed more than 2 nights. If we return to Brussels we would definitely stay here again thank you!

GGuest UserWe stayed in a studio apartment for 4 nights, the room had everything we needed. Bed was a pull out bed, comfortable, we asked for extra pillows and they were in the room waiting, bathroom and toilet are separate but still private, small Juliet balcony, handy for letting in fresh air, noisy outside but to be expected due to location, once the door was closed there was no issue. Metro right outside, super market across the road, 5 min walk to main square. Customer service was brilliant, very friendly, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, even when they were busy. About a 15 min walk from Centrum train station. There are a few homeless people near the location but never caused and issue for us other than pity, really could not fault the place and special thanks to the guy who was on Friday the 27th of august , didn’t get his name but he was super helpful!!

AAlex-WGreat location, super close to the metro station which takes approx. 15 minutes into the city centre. The hotel staff were also very attentive and friendly and very efficient during check-in / out. Rooms are a bit dated, but it is part of the renaissance style so more of a subjective opinion. The only thing that let the hotel down was the fact that it states on their website that they have a spa. On check-in I was advised it doesn’t exist anymore due to the pandemic? They need to update their website to reflect this!
KKoThe service staff were so friendly and willing to help at any request. My stay with this hote was very pleasant and I strongly recommend a stay with this hotel.
GGuest UserThe facilities and hardware are not up to five-star level, which is worse than the domestic Jin Jiang Hotel in Shanghai. The breakfast is average, and it is located in the city center.

GGuest UserIncredibly well placed hotel. Right in the center of Brussels, everything is accessible on foot.
Spacious room, nice and clean bathroom despite the toilet wedged between a wall and a sink. (Do not abuse fries and waffles otherwise you will spend more)
The hotel has a huge advantage. However the big problem with this hotel is the service.
The service is deplorable, frosty welcome, no smile, hello tear off, no please, no thanks ... the polite expressions are all forgotten.
Upon arrival, I was asked for a bank card and identity card, ok I give. White is palpable in the room. Then I ask him why he enters my card numbers because I had everything on the internet, he spontaneously replied ”Beh for the deposit”. No worries, this is understandable, however, he could just tell us, and also give us the amount that was going to be blocked, which I only saw because I looked on the TPE ... very little shopping again .
We encountered two fairly basic problems. We ran out of toilet paper, so I ask the receptionist if he can give it to us, the answer was ”Abon? Oh well I am amazed. Wait, I'll see if I can find that for you. ”
Very surprised by this reflection, we had the impression of having stolen toilet paper, we left empty-handed, toilet paper in hand. In addition we asked 3 times to 3 different employees to change a bulb that no longer worked in our room, something that was never done despite staying 3 nights. Very disappointed by this considerable lack of service / politeness for a four star ...
Too bad because this hotel has great potential.
Ps: I'm still waiting for my billing email.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is close to the train station and Brussels Square, convenient for sightseeing, travel and shopping. I stayed in the superior room 102, the room is still big in Europe, but the facilities are old enough to affect the stay experience.
The room has few lights, very dark. Reading, using computer, sitting on the toilet, bathroom is the most light.
Don't think about wet and dry separation, the bath water is slow, standing in the water to shower. The hot water bottle boils very slowly, feeling in the chicken soup.
Many people in Europe have holidays in August, and hotels are on duty by two people during the day and one at night.
The service attitude is enthusiastic and helps solve the problem, but there are many problems: the body wash is gone, and it can't be added at night. The hair dryer is broken, the paper towels are gone, and the staff on duty went to the hotel basement to find it. The hand sanitizer is gone...
But the location is better than everything, the train station is a few hundred meters away from the stone road, if there are boxes or very troublesome

QQuest07285599992A fair hotel in terms of price. The rooms have rather small bathrooms and the furniture is a little outdated, but they are comfortable. The staff at the reception welcoming. It is a recommended hotel for those who want something in a better area, who do not want to stay in the lobby area to drink a beer at the bar, and who want a decent price. What I didn't like was the lobby area where no bar was open, and everything seemed outdated and without any animation, any lounge music, without the possibility to drink a coffee/beer, etc.

GGuest UserI booked three nights at the hostel, but couldn’t stay there for more than 1 night. The room was unbearably hot (over 30°C), and believe it or not, they didn’t have either AC or a fan in the bedroom. We were sweating like a pig and couldn’t sleep at all. Then I went down to the reception and requested for a fan. The receptionist told me they didn’t have any fans. No towels, no soap, no padlock as courtesy. When I left the hostel, the manager said that I would get a one night refund, so the money would be sent into the same credit card I paid for the 3 nights. Guess what? They’ve never transferred the money into my account. They don’t answer my emails, phone calls… not professional at all. This is definitely the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. Stay away from this horrible place.
