Avoid this hotel at all costs. No hot water, no water or power at times. No towels. We were put in dirty rooms with no working water. Lots of staff but no one speaks English or does anything to help remedy issues. Extremely noisy and run down building. I’ve stayed in many places in South/Central America and this is by far THE WORST. Manager was contacted several times to address concerns and we still had no water or towels. Breakfast is abysmal and service is extremely slow.

I stayed for several days. The shower was not hot. One morning I took a cold shower but didn't complain. I was lucky to get a almost warm shower most of the time. The staff was excellent at the front desk. I had to ask for shower towels a couple of times which is inconvenient. Front desk and restaurant was excellent but I wouldn't stay here again.

Excellent and super kind staff with genuine desires to help! A group of us stayed here for many days and all had a great time. A restaurant in the hotel opens at 7 AM and closes at 10 PM serves very nice foods. Areas within 1.5 miles radius are full of excitements with all kinds of street vendors, all within walking distances. This hotel is very close to the city center, where courts, local police, national police and first responders are located. So, naturally, it is safe area to be. High mountain peaks are all viewable and hiking trails can lead to the local hill top that is approximately 11,000 feet above sea level, roughly 2 miles of walking. Once you’re on the top, you can see the whole Huaraz city.

I stayed with my mom and my teen daughter, I ran out of toilet paper I requested a new roll they reception refused. I had to call furious. They sent a small roll. We only received one set of towels and we are 3 persons. The hot water takes 10 minutes to get hot. When my daughter tried to get a hot shower there was not more hot water.I requested to clean the room they never did . There’s a lot of staff but the staff is lazy my mom went downstairs and requested the toilet paper and they laughed on mom’s face.

Repulsive. I heard a lot of noise yesterday from 11PM to around 4AM, loud music, banging on the walls, and people yelling. The manager proceeded to explain that those are their “hotel parties” and that they “only” throw them every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - this HOTEL THROWS PARTIES UNTIL 4AM. Those parties can be heard very clearly throughout the entire hotel. That’s not even mentioning the rooms and the manager; the rooms smell like mold, the water ran brown, the WiFi simply doesn’t work, the AC was absolutely INFESTED with mold, the cleaners barged in on me naked, and the views from the back rooms are of slums, about 15 feet away from the windows. Furthermore, the manager Liz is beyond condescending, tried hard to deny us a refund (that we ended up having the get through ******* after reporting the Hotel as a health hazard and talking to customer service for hours). Liz, the manager, did not know I spoke Spanish, and I overheard her telling one of the staff to “get them some free food quick so we don’t have to pay their refund”. After we managed to force a refund through *******, she turned even more sour, attempting to contact ******* to attempt to give us only a partial refund. Absolute joke of a hotel. The ONE upside I can possibly come up with, is that all the staff (Except the manager) are lovely people who were absolutely willing to help.

Second time I've stayed here, second time I've loved it. Friendly, helpful staff; nice rooms; relatively quiet: good restaurant and easy walk to several more. It has consistent hot water and is very clean and well-maintained. Stairs required from street to lobby. Elevator available once there.
