Stayed for two nights.
Had some issue with our hotel room key. The staff were very proactive trying to resolve the issue, but it was only till the 2nd day of our stay that was resolved.
There was no compensation for the incovenience caused as we only had 1 phisical key for 4 ppl.
Having said that, the rest of the service was very nice, would be happy to go back again.

Checked in at 3 PM, arrived at 2:45 PM. While we couldn't get into our room early, we were able to relax in the restaurant and enjoy complimentary coffee, drinks, ice cream, and snacks. The staff were all very friendly. Even though there were many guests checking in that day, they still reminded us about the timings for the late-night snack and breakfast. The food was very generous, essentially equivalent to a half-board stay (dinner and breakfast included). The room wasn't huge, but it had all the essentials, though the facilities did show a bit of age. For less than 4000 on a Saturday night for two people, the value for money is, as always, excellent! 👍 Highly recommend.

Anonymous UserHad a pleasant time in this hotel. Provided snacks and drinks daily. The male staff that was at the reception at night was very helpful in helping us call local shops and finding things. The breakfast was also delicious! Would return next time!

The staff were really friendly, and the facilities were great too. We had a mud hot spring on the balcony, so we didn't even have to go downstairs to soak. It made for a very relaxing and enjoyable day.

h030831Excellent clean hotel. Crew are nice and courteous. Breakfast spread is vast but suit local better. As it is free with my room , enjoy the coffee and fried eggs. Used the washing machine on the 12th floor. Coin operated machines that need 3x NT10 coins to operate washer, dryer need 1 to 2 NT10 coins for 30 or 60 mins

Location: Super convenient! Guohua Street, Hai'an Road, and Minsheng Road are all just a block away. You can turn a corner and be on You'ai Street or Zhongzheng Road. It’s a comfortable 10-minute walk to Koxinga Ancestral Shrine, Hayashi Department Store, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Ximen Store, National Museum of Taiwan Literature, Tainan Art Museum, Judicial Museum, and Confucius Temple Commercial District.
Shops: On Zhongzheng Road, there's Poya, and across from it is Wusong Temple, a great spot for souvenirs. Cosmed and Watsons are just a block away. There are so many eateries nearby! Turn left onto You'ai Street and you'll find You'ai Market, which has several food stalls open late, though it can get hot in summer as there's no air conditioning.
Hotel: The hotel itself is fine. The Wi-Fi, facilities, and cleanliness are all what you'd expect from a typical hotel. I particularly liked the bathroom – spacious, bright, and clean. However, the room and bed felt a bit damp, and even with the fan on, that feeling wouldn't go away. Here's the main issue: something was biting me.
First night: Two bites.
Second night: One bite.
Third night: Two bites.
Fourth night: None, because I checked out early that morning.
The room was only cleaned once during my four-night stay, and they didn't change the sheets. I wonder if that's why bugs might be hiding in the bed and carpet. I thought about asking the hotel to change the bedding, but then I figured it wouldn't make a difference.
The hotel is actually well-maintained. I just hope they can step up their cleaning and disinfection efforts, especially for the bedding and carpets.
Upon check-in, I received a small gift: a coin purse or a drink holder. I chose the coin purse, which is very practical! 👍

When we arrived, it was already late and there was no parking space (first come, first served). The service staff kindly introduced where to find self-pay parking lots nearby. Although it is an old hotel, the bathroom has been renovated, neatly clean, and not moldy. The only possibility is that it is air-conditioned. It is old and smelly and cannot adjust the wind direction. The sound is very loud. It blows directly on people's heads when sleeping, which is very uncomfortable. The price on Saturday is very good and cheap. There is nothing else to fault.

The room was very spacious, with a bathtub and a separate wet/dry area. It had windows facing outside, so the natural light was excellent. It seems like an old hotel that has been re-packaged. The front desk isn't 24-hour, so you need to pay attention to the check-in time. There's plenty of scooter parking nearby.

The hotel room was clean and basic for the most part and a few small bugs in the bathroom, but nothing major. 4 bottles of water are included and slippers. Beds are firm and comfortable and pillows are ok. However, if you are allergic to napthelene (moth balls), then stay away as the place is strong smelling of moth balls though the room doesn't have a closet or wardrobe. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The bathroom is very basic without a door rack to hang your clothes and the shower partition is only enough to shield the toilet from splashes and without any sliding doors. Toilet doesn't accept toilet paper, so you'll need to put into the provided waste basket.
The young lady at the counter was generally helpful, but in a basic kind of way. The hotel is conveniently located right across from the Taiwan railway station in ”downtown” kind of area. The lobby looked big, clean, and decent with a ”putting green” off to the side. The room is quiet, though there are people talking loudly as they check in late at night. The lobby “free wifi” connects, but has no internet service. Room wifi is unsecured, so make sure you have a vpn or use it for unimportant things. They also provide a free luggage storage service before you check in so you can sightsee without lugging your luggage around town.
Overall, it’s a good choice for a basic short stay at a very convenient location. The price is also very good. Recommended choice for your next Tainan trip.

Si Anping presents a sophisticated, boutique visual identity that aligns with Tainan’s modern creative wave. The establishment excels in geographic positioning and architectural design.
The property is a high-utility base for historical research, situated within walking distance of Anping Old Fort and the canal.
I am inspired by the minimalist aesthetic and clean lines provide an environment conducive to ”mental decompression” after navigating the sensory-rich streets of Anping.
however, a significant design flaw exists in the bathroom facilities. The window blinds are insufficient to fully cover the shower window, creating a transparency issue where the interior is visible from the public park outside. This presents a challenge to the ”psychological comfort” and privacy of the guest.
Laundry services are not handled in-house; the establishment relies entirely on external providers. This can adds a layer of logistical complexity for travelers on a multi-city itinerary.
