I had a great experience at this hotel! The room was nice and clean, they supplied new water bottles every day and the bathroom was modern and nice. The beds were comfortable. The curtains blocked most of the light from the window in the morning. I could hear noise outside the room sometimes but it didn’t disturb my sleep. The staff were very helpful and kind. Even though they didn’t speak much English and I don’t speak Chinese or Uyghur, we communicated using my translator app. The restaurant downstairs looked excellent too but I did not eat there.

"It's 16km from urumqi town. Good for transit as it's near to airport with free airport transfers. Need to reserve the airport pick-up a day before arrival and clarify regarding the location for pick-up in the airport. Urumqi airport is huge. I was confused with pick-up location, went to arrival gates instead of departure gate where the hotel pick-up was. Otherwise, the breakfast was great with many choices. There are lots of restaurants and small night market around hotel for meals"

"The hotel is ideal if you are visiting the Expo as is Walking distance. The hotel as such is nice, it was very crowded when we visited due to the Expo next door, however met our expectations. Anna the hotel manager is a star! 🙏 Also the hotel has the beer garden which was an easy way to spent our nights! Need a didi to visit sightseeing areas and the hotel arranged for as a taxi to visit the Tianchi lake!"

"The hotel is centrally located in Urumqi but unfortunately the road right outside in front the hotel is under some construction that make the hotel surrounding a bit untidy. However the hotel staffs are great. Especially, Mr Liu Ruoxuan (刘若玄) who was extremely friendly and helpful. He helped me to contact the trip.com staff to communicate with them when my booking on trip.com have a discrepancy with the booking information that the hotel system recorded. Issue resolved with the help from Mr Liu and successfully checked into the room that i have booked without further events."

"There was no issues at check-in although staff wasn't able to speak English. The hotel location is really good and metro station is also very close to it. A lot of restaurants and market downstairs. Apart from that, room was very neat and clean. Toilet was very clean as well. The only issue I had was all the rooms are smoking permitted, so bed sheets and pillows do smell of cigarettes which is quite unsettling. I hope the hotel can do something about it. My rest of the stay was very pleasant and I would definitely book this place the next time I visit."

"This is my second time stay in this hotel, never disappointed. We allowed to check in early, the location is near the Metro stations of international urumqi airport. So, you can go around the city by train. We had morning flight the next day, they provide us the transfer bus to the airport. And the receptionist is friendly. I love this hotel"

KKevan KeeganAlthough from outside the hotel does not present an attractive face, the room was very nice and the very plain small lobby very friendly and efficient. Hotel location is however excellent being less than ten minutes from metro station and one stop from Grand Bazaar, where there is so much to see, do and eat. I went there every night! Unfortunately the metro does not yet go to the main Urumqi fast train station (I arrived from Turpan) even though station signs point to the metro station it is not yet open. It was though very easy to reach the airport by metro in 45 minutes. I found that the best way to get to the excellent Xinjiang Museum is to take metro four stops to Nanhu Square, and after enjoying Nanhu Lake Park, get a taxi / Didi to the Museum. It takes 15 minutes and costs about ¥20/25. The museum is free and I did not need to queue or pre-book for a ticket. There is no power switch inside the door where usually you place your key card. So not clear how to cut off room electricity when leaving unless firmest switch off in more than ten switches around the room! Bed was very large and comfortable and huge TV had all the channels…once you discover that - among the many light switches on both sides of the bed - there is one labelled TV and without this neither of the two remotes will switch on the TV! The shower was a little out of date but effective, though the hot water was not really that hot. The breakfast on the top floor was a really good Chinese buffet although coffee was from a machine and very average. One morning fresh wanton were prepared by a chef.

AAnonymous UserStaying at Urumqi Bayinhe Hotel is like a warm encounter with the city. When you open the curtains in the morning, the sunlight shines into the room through the clear glass. The comfort of the zero-pressure mattress and the lingering charm of the dazzling night view are intertwined, instantly awakening your anticipation for travel. The hotel environment is elegant and simple, the facilities in the room are thoughtful and comprehensive, from the staff to the robot delivery service, every detail reveals the ingenuity of modern design, and the city view outside the window silently tells the prosperity and tranquility here. Breakfast is a wonderful prelude to the day. Under the warm yellow light in the restaurant, the dining table is filled with steam, and there are Xinjiang-style milk tea and yogurt, as well as freshly cooked noodles and fresh fruits. The waiter asked softly, ”Do you want another cup of milk tea?”, with a smile that showed the vitality of the early morning. This kind of thoughtfulness makes people feel the care that goes beyond food. The hotel is located on Wenhua Road in the People's Square business district, within walking distance of the century-old cultural street. Take a stroll to the South Gate in the afternoon, where you will see three cultural relics protection buildings standing quietly. The time accumulated between the bricks and tiles and the aroma of baked buns wafting through the streets and alleys form a unique urban rhythm. If you want to explore further, you can reach the International Grand Bazaar and Red Mountain Park in ten minutes by taxi. Climb up and overlook the snow-capped top of Bogda Peak and the sunset, and your mind will be broadened. The most unforgettable thing is the ”human touch” here. When checking in, the girl at the front desk handed me two bottles of mineral water, and the words “Thank you for your hard journey” were as warm as returning home; when leaving, the sincerity in the waiter’s eyes as he waved goodbye made this brief stay full of friendship. If journey is poetry, then this is the station where the poetry takes root - unobtrusive but soothing, using the warmth of a bowl of hot soup, the scenery through a bright window, and the sincerity of a group of people to turn a foreign land into a place of peace of mind.
