On the last day of my trip to Xinjiang, I came to Urumqi. Just like last time, I visited Xinjiang Museum and International Grand Bazaar. This store is located on the busy Beijing South Road. It has a good location. There is a shopping mall nearby and there are many people.

Posted on Jul 16, 2026|Mini Single Room [No Window] (Xiaodu Smart Control + HD Projection + Efficient Fresh Air System)
xHan5jyzz@ppThe place is okay for a short stay. The room was clean. However there are some things that bothered me during my stay:
- Bathroom is very small, and the water was leaking to the room after the shower. There's no towel to put on the floor to make it dry
- Every day I returned to the hotel my key card was unable to open the door. I had to go to the reception to reactivate my card
- Laundry room has 3 washing machines, however they are always occupied. People load the machines, and not coming back to take their clothes after work finished. You also can't unload the machines, because all baskets occupied as well. I saw some people just take the clothes from the machines and put it randomly in the room, then the owner coming back and can't find it. Very messy.

BeMa354Everything at this place is inspiring and catchy, in one way or another. Comfortably furnished, with a clean common space that has a nice bookshelf, a reading area, dining table and a soft furry couch. If there is one thing visible through the layout of this inn, it is that they take living with art with gusto, and this is an advantage for artsy guests. To top it all off, cat lovers would actually appreciate this place due to its feline thematics and the mascot cat Hanhan. For its price, it is a wonderful place for a stay in Urumqi.

Anastasia369The room offers a nice view of the Urumqi Railway Station, and having a washer inside the room was very convenient. The hotel is clean and the housekeeping lady is lovely and very professional, meeting standards that foreign guests will appreciate.
However, the hotel is quite far from the city center, and although there is a bus stop nearby, only one bus line passes through and it’s often unreliable.
My main suggestion is for the reception staff to improve professionalism. Guests should feel welcomed upon arrival, not judged or asked unnecessary personal questions and be seen looking about my country on her phone while I wait for her to check me in. In comparison with other hotels I’ve stayed at in Urumqi, the reception service here could be more respectful and professional.

Guest UserFive stars, highly recommended! This hostel is an absolute gem for solo travelers. The location is superb, very close to the subway station, with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping.
The overall cleanliness exceeded my expectations. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are cleaned daily, and there's no unpleasant smell. Each bed comes with a blackout curtain, charging socket, and a locker, offering great privacy. The mattress is soft, and the environment is quiet at night, ensuring a high-quality rest.
The owner and front desk staff are warm and thoughtful; they share local tour routes and food recommendations, which is incredibly helpful for planning your trip. The common area has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for chatting and connecting with backpackers from all over. If you prefer not to socialize, you can also quietly enjoy your own company – it's super chill. The price is affordable, offering excellent value for money. It's clean and safe, making it ideal for students and backpackers. This will be my top choice when visiting this area, and I'll definitely stay here again!

Enzo Paul15-20 minutes walk to Urumqi High Speed railway station. Recommend to pay a little bit more (40rmb in my case) and get the room with a big red bathtub and Japanese style bed (quite comfortable) because it's bigger and overall nicer than the standard room. There was a cigarette smell in standard room as well.
All facilities was working but seems to be a little bit old. A lot of convenience shops and restaurants around. Overall a decent place to stay for a couple of nights.

Guest UserThe hotel is very close to the airport and offers a private shuttle service. This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and it was a surprisingly good experience. The capsule itself offered great privacy, good ventilation, and various lighting options. It was clean, comfortable, and very budget-friendly. The front desk staff were also very welcoming!

Posted on Jul 19, 2025|City-view Six-person Room (Room rate calculated per bed)(Male Only)
Guest UserHostel is about 5 - 7 minutes away from the ”Sports Centre” metro station, which is about 25+ minutes from the airport.
The hostel entrance is next to the Tesla shop, and you have to press the buzzer, for the security guard to open the gate for you.
Then, after writing your name down in the guest-book, you go up to the 10th floor in the lift.
(Check the other reviews here, for a picture of the gate/door to the building)
The staff speak little to no English, but they are very helpful.
They will try to solve your issues, as long as you patient with the translation software.
Also, it is difficult for staff to check you in, if you do not have a contact number or Alipay/Wechat contact.
(This is a CN Govt requirement)
The dorm rooms are basic and you may get the city views.
There are no privacy curtains and there was no air-con, in my one.
The hostel staff can provide fans, but we did not need any, as it was still cool at night.
The beds are OK.
There is a bathroom in the dorm room too, but there was almost no privacy for the bathroom, as there was a gap between the door for others to see and you can see through the frosted glass into the bathroom too!
The hostel is relatively clean, quiet and well-located,
except there may be other local guests, who are loud and smoke sometimes in the other rooms.
Next to the hostel is a nice up-market shopping centre and with really lots to eat, in the food-court on the 3rd floor.
