"I have stayed at this hotel for 2 days.
I liked the heating in the room because it was very cold and dark outside after 5 p.m. The heating was great for cold weather. Also, the breakfast was good, with a variety of tasty dishes. The staff serving breakfast were very kind and attentive, especially Frank, who was professional in serving the guests.
However, the single room’s amenities were not very good. The bedsheet had dark spots near the charging station located at the head of the bed. There was a clog in the sink’s pipe, and water didn’t drain properly. The view was not pleasant as it faced a building under refurbishment.
Additionally, the staff at check-in were unable to provide sufficient information about local sightseeing and dining options; they only recommended one restaurant."

"Clean room and well maintained throughout my visit. The staff were exceptionally friendly—chatting with them was genuinely enjoyable, and they gave great recommendations and helpful local tips.
Breakfast was good overall, although the selection felt quite similar each morning.
The bathtub was a comfortable size.
Little balcony
I also appreciated that there is an elevator serving every floor, which made getting around easy with luggage.

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast and service were excellent. The hotel is right in front of the bus stop, a 10-minute walk from Interlaken Ost Station. We visited during a heat wave, and while the hotel doesn't have air conditioning, fans were provided. It was still a bit stuffy, though. We used the hot tub and sauna, which were quite pleasant. I would stay at this hotel again."

"The front desk service was excellent, very warm and welcoming. It's within walking distance to West Station, and East Station is just a 102 bus ride away. Downstairs, there are convenient supermarkets and pharmacies. You can even watch people parachute, and the view is beautiful. The room is spacious, and the balcony even has a clothes drying rack. However, a Chinese tour group arrived. Out of all the hotels, this was the only one that hosted a Chinese group. It was very noisy. What's more, I found out on the day that the price I paid by booking in advance was actually more expensive than the walk-in rate, which is quite unbelievable."

"Very nice design hotel, new and spacious, but what it’s lacking is the warmness of the staff. Only the new girl working there is pretty nice, the rest of the staff has lukewarm attitude. The first room I got was nice, they gave me a double bed instead of a single bed that I booked but upon enter, there was a pair of socks hanging on the toilet door. Called the housekeeping and they removed it but also realised the room is very hot, but AC is not adjustable as it is centralised. So they gave me a fan instead. Later at night I also realised it was pretty noisy as the alfresco of the restaurant is right beneath my room. And then the toilet shower is broken. I tried calling the reception and housekeeping at 9-10pm but nobody pick up which I assumed it’s probably not 24hrs service. I bear with the broken shower. Next day morning I asked to change the room to quieter one but I need to get all my stuff out by 11am which I did. I went to the reception and told them about the broken shower, with no apologies, the guy just say ya ya, that’s an easy fix. I’m still glad they changed the room for me. But like I say still hope for a better service with the money I paid. Also not enough hanging area in the bathroom, especially when the first room I got… no hanging area at all, so can’t hang towel or clothes."

Rooms are comfortable but a bit on the small side, and some amenities like a fridge would have been nice.

"This is an antique hotel with Swiss traditional decorations. Every direction is very clear and accurate. Swiss! It is sparkling clean. The services is comparable to the 5-star hotel.
The breakfast lets me taste the local style Swiss food, not just the traditional hotel style.
The fresh air here is the natural air-conditioner. Should not have any air-conditioner which destroys the tradition here.

TtowardssunLoved it! It was my first time staying in a hostel, but the environment was surprisingly nice and clean. There were even older guests staying there. The best part is its super convenient location right next to Interlaken station.
My favorite part was making my own bed; it was fun and felt like a nice ritual. We also got lucky and had a four-person dorm all to ourselves for two nights! 🤣
Oh, and the breakfast was excellent! Especially considering how expensive everything is in Switzerland!

CcyljzzzzzThe hotel is decorated in a gorgeous style, with English Victorian style reflected in the corridor chandeliers, exquisite glass, and marble columns with elegant carvings. The garden and the greenhouse tropical plant elements in the lobby provide a sense of vacation.
The location is within a 10-minute walk from Interlaken West Station and East Station. There is a large lawn in front of the gate for paragliders to land (paragliders can scan the QR code to make reservations). During the day, you can see the misty Eiger and Jungfrau mountain groups. If you want to go to Jungfrau, you can take the train from Interlaken East, but the recommended route is to go to Grindelwald terminal station (within 30 minutes), take the cable car up the mountain from there, and then take another route back to Interlaken East.
The hotel is equipped with a 20m indoor swimming pool, several small soaking pools, outdoor soaking pools, and contact spa service facilities such as saunas. But the venue is not large. Indoor tennis courts need to be reserved in advance, and equipment can be rented. The internal environment is of medium level. Try to arrive on time. We arrived late at noon and no one opened the door for us.
The breakfast is average, I feel that the breakfast in Swiss hotels is average, and the juice is not good. The interior design of the room is good, but the view outside the window depends on the room type and luck. The angle of the window outside the window of many rooms is not facing the mountain, but facing the hotel's internal garden. If you want to take pictures of the balcony scenery with the mountain view, some small hotels are more photogenic.
It is worth mentioning that you must remember to choose the right number of guests. I chose a single person and wanted to stay in a double room, but they said they would charge 100 francs.

JJenna_QinThis hotel was the most pleasant surprise of our trip. We originally booked a classic double room, but it seemed like we were upgraded to a suite. Although the room had a bathtub, there was also a separate toilet, so bathing and using the restroom were not an issue.
The hotel is very close to Interlaken Ost (East) station, just a few minutes' walk, which was perfect for our trip to Jungfraujoch the next day. For dining, we could take the bus to Interlaken West station, and the hotel even provided each guest with a free bus pass.
The hotel breakfast was also excellent. If you wanted a cappuccino or latte, the staff would prepare it in the kitchen and bring it out. The dining room has huge floor-to-ceiling windows, so enjoying breakfast by the window must be very relaxing.

GGuest UserThis was the fourth hotel I stayed in during my two-night stay in Switzerland. The hotel isn't near Interlaken's main station, Interlaken Ost, but rather near West Station. This wasn't particularly convenient, as I expected frequent trains from West Station to Interlaken Ost, running every five minutes. However, the trains only run every half hour, and the buses every 20 minutes or so, making time management difficult. The room was very large and spacious, though the details weren't particularly sophisticated, considering it's a four-star hotel, not a five-star one. The bathtub and air conditioning were nice, but there was no refrigerator. Bottled water was provided upon check-out.

GGuest UserVery close to Interlaken West station, just a 5-10 minute walk. Interlaken's main commercial street is right by the train station. There's a large Coop supermarket right next to the hotel; if it happens to be Sunday and it's closed, you can head to the one on the main street. There's also a Cantonese restaurant nearby with good food. I noticed a highly-rated cheese fondue restaurant on Google Maps nearby, but didn't get a chance to try it this time. Although the bathroom and toilet were shared, it felt like I had them all to myself. My single room was in the attic, which got very hot during the day. Turning off the lights and opening the skylight at night helped a bit.

The hotel itself is quite large, and our room had a double bed and a sofa bed, which was perfect for our family of three. There were also two TVs in the room, along with yukata and slippers. AAnonymous UserStayed at Hotel Toscana for 2 nights (Nov. 13-15, 2024). One issue we had was we lost a necklace. We were wearing scarves so my sister and I left 2 gold necklaces at the table. We didn’t know there will be housekeeping as we’re only staying for 2 nights. All of us were out 10AM and went back 6PM. When we got back, 1 of the necklace was gone. We looked everywhere, under the mattress and bed, all sides of the table, inside the bathroom, and every side of the room, but it was gone. The receptionist was helful enough to check with her boss and the housekeeping but who would admit they stole something, right? I just hope whoever took it found a good use out of it. Other than that, the location is perfect, it’s within a walking distance (around 7-10min) to Interlaken West station. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area as well. The hotel room is equipped with kettle and glass cups, no mugs. No airconditioning unit but it was pretty cold during our stay so we just opened the window a bit and it was fine. It was a very quiet neighborhood with nice views of the mountain and people paragliding. The room looked clean the moment we entered, but while we were searching under the bed and tables, dust has piled up underneath, it was very dusty like it hasn’t been cleaned for months and they only sweep the visible areas of the floor. The bathroom smelled like pee even before we used it. I hope they improve these parts, the hotel’s not that bad if you’ve experienced staying there (in my opinion).
