I booked a suite at Shanxi Hotel. Oh boy, what a stay!!! The hotel looks like a courtyard. The receptionist and the bellboy were all very cordial. They carried my luggage to the room for free. Our room was in another building so they advised us we could check out without coming back to the reception desk again. Just leave the keys in the room. The room was quite spacious with lots of amenities. I am very surprised they offer in-room laundry detergent and electric cloth dryer for hanging clothes. They consider every aspect of my stay and I would give them 5 out of 5 stars.

I took my kids back to my hometown in Shanxi and stayed at this hotel during the May Day holiday. There was a little incident in the middle. The carpet in the room was a little dirty, but it didn't matter. The waiter immediately vacuumed it again and there were welcome fruits.
