The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, making both check-in and check-out very efficient. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, with plenty of hot water, showing great attention to detail. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, offering both Chinese and Western options, and I was especially pleased with the made-to-order noodle station. The location is convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely choose to stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

My stay at Jinxizechang Culture and Tourism Hotel was fantastic! The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, yet it's super convenient for getting around and exploring Taiyuan's food scene. The lobby is steeped in Sanjin cultural charm, and the rooms are spacious and spotless. The Serta mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the toiletries felt high-quality. Our guest relations manager, Linda, provided thoughtful service. Breakfast offered authentic Shanxi flavors, like lamb soup and tofu pudding – really showcasing the local culture. I genuinely recommend this place; staying here in Taiyuan is definitely worth it! The hotel's attention to detail was exceptional. Because I had an early flight, everything from dining at the restaurant to checking out at the lobby, and even having the airport transfer driver waiting early at the entrance, felt incredibly heartwarming! Linda's arrangements were spot-on!

My stay at Wutong Apartments was wonderful! The room was clean, spacious, modern, and aesthetically pleasing. There is bathtub is luxurious and spacious, the shower has great pressure and the the separate toilet room has a motion censored toilet seat and a bidet. The bed was comfy and the closet space begs you to unpack your suitcase. There were thoughtful amenities, including a loofah cloth and shoe shine cloths. Now...the breakfast. It was the best breakfast buffet I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Tinder and well seasoned steak, salmon, soups, desserts, breads, scrumptious pancakes and a salad bar that even included kale amongst the varied greens. Best of all, the service was exceptional. A special thank you to Li Ne, the dining staff and the housekeeper who attended to my room. I wish that every hotel stay I experience in the future is as amazing as my time at Wutong Apartment Hotel.

Saw great reviews for this hotel online, and it definitely lived up to our expectations after checking in. The room was incredibly spacious and spotless. The front desk even thoughtfully prepared small drinks, cooling patches, and alcohol wipes. What really stood out was the thoughtful shuttle service to and from the venue, specially arranged for fans who traveled from out of town for the concert over these three days – absolutely amazing! I heard this was their first time trying it, but it was truly fantastic. All in all, we were very satisfied and hope to stay here again when a favorite celebrity comes to Taiyuan for another concert. 🫰

A true hospitable hotel! The staff at the hotel was very accommodating. We arrived from an early train and reached the hotel at 11:00 in the morning. The receptionist allowed us to check in early though the standard checkin time was 14:00 onwards. We stayed in the 5th floor. The housekeeper noted we washed a young child’s cloth. The staff promptly provided small packets of laundry liquid without being asked. They also left messages wishing us a pleasant stay. The location of the hotel was also good, being centrally located in Taiyuan with walking distance to a metro station. Absolutely love the service of this hotel!

Room: The room was very spacious with a wet/dry separation design. We booked a family room with one 1.8m bed and one 1.2m bed. There was also a sofa next to it that could accommodate a child around fourth grade, which is perfect for families with two children. Service: The staff were very service-oriented. As soon as they saw us entering with two suitcases, they immediately came over to help push them to the front desk. The room included three breakfasts, and upon check-in, seeing our two kids, they instantly offered complimentary breakfast for them as well. Even the executive lounge access was extended from three to four people. Although it was just some snacks and drinks in the evening, it was a welcome treat for us after a long day of travel and arriving at the hotel. It was just right to freshen up a bit before heading out to explore the night market.

Excellent! It's very close to the museum, and just a few minutes' walk across the street to Ximen. The hotel facilities are good, and the service is great. The best part was that they helped me wash a whole bunch of clothes that got wet from playing in the water while traveling, otherwise they would have smelled by the time I got home. Suggestion: Since there's a bathtub, it would be even better if they provided bath salts.

The hotel's location is good. Although it's a bit old, it still has all the hardware facilities expected of a five-star hotel. Let me focus on the most unpleasant service experience this time. We booked a family room, which included three breakfasts. Our child had an upset stomach the night before and was throwing up and had diarrhea all night. So, in the morning, only the two adults went to eat, thinking of getting a takeaway box for the child. This is where the unpleasant experience began. The person in black, who seemed to be a supervisor at the restaurant, said that if we had already started dining, takeaway boxes wouldn't be provided (at this point, we thought we only had two breakfasts included). Later, after checking the order, we confirmed that the family room included three breakfasts. We went back to the restaurant reception to ask for a takeaway box, clarifying upfront that our room included three breakfasts and that we wanted to pack something because our child was unwell. Even then, the front desk staff said that after 6:30 AM, it's recommended to dine in, and takeaway boxes are generally not provided. She also claimed it was busy and she couldn't authorize it (even though there were no guests waiting at the front desk at that time) and that only the supervisor could approve it. I had to wait for her to call the supervisor over again before I finally got a takeaway box. Throughout this entire process, both of them had cold faces and showed absolutely no service意识 (service awareness). This definitely deserves a negative review!!!

Very satisfactory accommodation experience. The location is very good. There is a rich nightlife just a few steps away. The breakfast is recommended and worth trying. Both Chinese and Western food are excellent, and the wontons are very delicious. The service staff is very good. Although they are not experienced in receiving foreign guests, they finally solved all the problems. Mr. Liang Yichao at the front desk was very enthusiastic and thoughtfully provided lemonade. I hope to come again if I have the opportunity.

An old five-star hotel with very high cost performance. In particular, the front office service is very good, and the lobby manager Wang Jue is attentive.
