World Trade Hotel

Guomao Hotel offers excellent service. The breakfast spread is extensive, and the staff are constantly clearing plates and providing enthusiastic service. The lamb soup, a signature dish, has very tender meat and is delicious. While the hotel is a bit older, it's very clean.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Jinshang Museum. Even though it's an older five-star hotel, the service and cleanliness are top-notch. They even helped with my luggage. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Taiyuan.

The room facilities are complete and clean, and the service is warm and thoughtful. The hot water is great, making this a hotel with excellent value for money.

My trip to Shanxi was very comfortable, and I enjoyed dining at century-old restaurants. The Jin Merchants Museum is right near the hotel and definitely worth a visit! There are plenty of great places to eat around the hotel, and the pedestrian street is a charming blend of ancient and modern!

If you have the means, I highly recommend staying at an old-school five-star hotel like this one. While it's 'old-school', it doesn't feel run-down at all; it still has that undeniable sense of luxury. The overall facilities are great, with a bathtub and even a humidifier – that was a pleasant surprise! Shanxi weather is so dry that my child had a nosebleed on the first day, so the humidifier was a real lifesaver. The room key card also mentioned free swimming. The breakfast was excellent and definitely worth trying. When we visited, there was even an intangible cultural heritage market on the 5th floor, which added to the overall upscale experience. Parking is also free; just remember to ask the front desk for a parking voucher.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the Jin merchants museum and Liu Alley, making it the perfect choice for tourists. The impressive high-rise building immediately conveys a luxurious five-star ambiance. The night views from the upper floors are great, the hotel staff are very welcoming, and the breakfast is abundant. We had a fantastic stay!

The room was very clean; although the facilities are a bit old, it was spotless, and the service was excellent. It's suitable for families. A special shout-out to the cleaning staff, aunties 3821 and 3822, who did an amazing job tidying up the rooms these past two days!
