Shimoda Hotels with Wi-Fi

"This hotel offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Shimoda! The room was clean and tidy, with unbeatable sea views, and the size is quite spacious for Japan. The bathroom was also relatively large and bright. Breakfast was also great value, with a decent variety and local specialties. The hot springs have both indoor and outdoor pools; for a non-specialized onsen hotel, the environment was fantastic. I imagine the outdoor onsen offers sea views during the day. But the most remarkable aspect was the hotel's service. They were patient and meticulous throughout. I had requested a high floor and not a corner room in advance, and the hotel accommodated both requests, leading to a room with an excellent view. One evening, I spontaneously decided to go out for dinner, only to find the nearest restaurant was a 1km walk uphill. The front desk helped me call a taxi and even reserved a table. The young man with glasses at the front desk patiently assisted with all the arrangements, for which I'm very grateful! Overall, the experience was fantastic, offering exceptional value, and I will certainly be back!"

"Quite affordable considering its proximity to the beach. The place gives a homey vibe. It’s clean and quiet. It’s run by Aoki-san and Keiko-san, a really nice couple. Those traveling by public transport shouldn’t be worried about access as long as you check the bus schedule of the day. We got lucky going back to Shimoda station since Aoki-san was also headed there and gave us a ride. Definitely going back! ありがとうございました Aoki-san. 🥰"

"It was the best place where my wife and I had ever rested. And the hotel and the whole city of Shimoda is a paradise. We liked absolutely everything. And the hotel employee - Kaori, is an exceptional nature person. She gives her work 200% and is the heart of this hotel. Thanks to her scrupulousness, sensitivity and care, there was a feeling that my mother was taking care of us in the hotel. We will definitely come back again! We advise everyone to visit this city and this beautiful hotel at least once. We checked in and arranged for dinner. At first, I thought we would eat in the room, but I didn’t expect to eat in the restaurant, but it didn’t matter. The restaurant is a private room. When we arrived, the appetizers were already placed, and then someone came to serve us. I ate one dish after another until I was full. It’s too much! Who said that Japanese people eat less! And it’s really cost-effective, and the taste is also very good. It’s been 2 hours since we finished eating. The breakfast is also very rich, and the grilled fish is also delicious. It’s still very good to experience Japanese breakfast! We booked a tatami room. I thought I had to make the bed myself, but they helped me make it after dinner. The service was really thoughtful. However, I have to complain that the hot water in the bathroom was not hot enough. I just took a shower and went upstairs to take a hot spring bath (the public bathing water in the hot spring is better, and everyone can go upstairs to take a shower). I personally recommend everyone to take an open-air hot spring bath. It is really easy to lack oxygen in the indoor one. It is so comfortable to stare at the sea view in the morning! I will stay in this hotel again if I have the chance! ! ! Finally, the hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off service. The timetable for going to the hotel is in the afternoon, and the time for going to Shimoda Station is in the morning. "The hotel is very good, the scenery in the lobby is the sea view, one parking and two meals, dinner is kaiseki cuisine, breakfast is also very good, there are many varieties, very delicious, supper and Dandan noodles, the hotel is very close to Dashi Mountain, just at the foot of the mountain, the train station, you can pick up before 4:30 in the afternoon, there is also 9:30 from the hotel, 10:30, 11:30 three time periods, to the train station"

If you are particularly afraid of cockroaches, you should find a new hotel. The old hotel may be difficult to have no cockroaches, after all, it is all wood. There is a Keikyu next to it, the price is double, but it is definitely a ”clean hotel”."

"Далековато ! Но оно того стоит Прекрасный пляж . На рецепции все объяснили ) забронировали приватный Онсен. Купались ночью в бассейне ☺️ это лучшее , что может быть . Бар работающий с 20 до 22 часов и бармен Хироку , который готовил нам коктейли отличный джин-тоник за 300 йен -это просто подарок !!! Хироку тебе привет от девчонок из России и спасибо за отдых !! Комнаты чистые и уютные ! Вещи можно было оставить после выезда и сходить на пляж ЗАВТРАКИ ! Таких завтраков я ни в одной гостинице в Японии не ела )) омлет , овощи , фрукты , панкейки и безлимитный кофе 🙏🥰 Вид с обрыва шикарен 🥹 отель Сирахама очень милый и уютный ! Рекомендую 🥲🙏 Трансфера к сожалению не оказалось ((( Но я бы вернулась сюда ещё 😍✨🫠🙏"
