Glad I picked that hotel it's very close to taksim square and surrounded by lots of good bakery and shops also they provide free shuttle service.

Overall, our stay at Naz City Hotel was lovely. The facilities were excellent, and most of the staff provided great service. However, we had a disappointing experience with one of the receptionists — a lady whose behavior was quite rude and unprofessional. At times, it felt as though we were not paying guests. This was the only downside to an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Bad soup

To be honest the hotel was amazing, nothing to complain. The workers were kind and humble. Especially the receptionist (Mert) and all the spa workers treating us very good, they did a great job. But I’m very disappointed with the owner for his bad attitude and disrespectful towards me. Few words to describe him and what happened - drama king, no manners, such a dumb and brainless guy, not capable to be a owner for that hotel. Need some education for him, I’m very disappointed with him for being very rude and showing disrespect to me for nothing.

The location seems close to Taksim Square, but the road in between is an extremely steep slope, making it difficult to get there and back. Therefore, getting to and from Taksim basically relies on the hotel's shuttle bus. The surrounding cityscape is so-so; it's mostly abandoned old houses, and further back it looks like a slum. The hotel itself is fine, and the service is acceptable.

I loved the place, its location, cleanliness, and their service. It's completely quiet, and we don't hear any street noise. Taksim is a 13-minute walk away, and there's a free shuttle service to Taksim.

The hotel is 3 out of 5. The breakfasts are good quality, tasty, small selection, the menu has not changed. The room is comfortable, with signs of use, but not critical. A big minus - it was cold in the room, they provided a heater, but the tiles on the floor in the toilet remained icy. We chose the hotel based on the availability of a recreation area: Spa on the -3 floor, a small sauna and hamam (for 5-6 people), the water in the pool is also cool. We spent a small amount of time there. The location is not far from Taksim Square (8-10 minutes walk) down the hill, you can return to the hotel on foot. It will be difficult to go up the mountain from the hotel, we always left on a transfer (they promptly provide a car to 3 locations to choose from). It is very convenient. The view is panoramic, but there are only slums around.

A good hotel, everything you need for a comfortable stay is there. Local cafes and a Carrefour supermarket are located on the neighboring streets. But there is one but! We were in Istanbul for the first time and did not expect that the city has such steep elevation changes. So... if you plan to move on foot, then you will have a 15-minute sunrise at an angle of 45-60 degrees. Keep this in mind.
