If you come to Izu, I highly recommend staying at this hot spring ♨️ hotel! 📍Location: Right on the Akasawa Coast, all rooms face the sea🌊 (view from the balcony of rooms 1 and 2 in pictures) 🚄Transportation: Exit Tokaido JR Izu-Kogen Station, go out from the south gate to the B1 parking lot, there is a dedicated bus pick-up point (see the last picture, including pick-up timetable) ♨️Hot ​​spring: If the weather is good, all the hot springs in the hotel have beautiful views! See hotel photos. There is an open-air hot spring with a sea view on the third floor of the main building, which is open the longest (5am-11am/1pm-1am), and there is a karaoke next to it. There is a rooftop sea-view open-air hot spring on the 7th floor of the main building (free for guests from 6am to 10am), which is relatively small; There is a panoramic open-air hot spring (10am-10pm) in the South Building (Hikari Hot Spring), which is relatively large and is open to non-residents and is free to residents. There is an indoor link passage on the lobby floor of the main building. ⚠️The men’s and women’s baths will be exchanged~ There will be some differences~ 👘Service: The girl at the front desk speaks very good English (including the little brother who receives other guests next to her). The hotel provides yukata of different colors and sizes, covering all ages, so considerate! (Pictures 3, 4, 5, 6) The rooms are all M. If you need other sizes, you will be asked to choose them when you check in at the front desk. 🍣Meals: There are restaurants on the 3rd floor of the main building, lobby, and the 1st floor of the south building. Breakfast for hotel guests is at Restaurant Kira on the lobby floor. It is a buffet-style Japanese breakfast. I personally like it very much, but there are fewer choices for my husband and children. (Figure 7, 8, 9) Dinner was at Restaurant Sara on the 3rd floor and Kira on the lobby floor. It was a Japanese set meal. It tasted good and was filling (Pictures 10 and 11). If not, you can order something to eat at the South Building restaurant, or find a restaurant on the way out of the hotel. 🧹Hygiene: It's pretty clean, but the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are old, but it doesn't affect the experience. 💰Value for money: I personally think it's good. I have 2 adults and 1 child, 2 berths for 3 days, including breakfast and dinner, more than 2,000 per night, covering three sea-facing hot springs. ⚠️If you book with Ctrip, the fee for children over 4 years old needs to be paid separately when arriving at the store, including their meals and hot springs. 🛜Room facilities The hotel has Wi-Fi but it's a bit laggy; the room is 39 square meters, which is quite large in Japan (Figure 10). The Japanese-style sea view room I booked is located in the bay and has a nice view. There is also a shuttle bus from the hotel to Izu Plateau, which is very convenient. It is a bit expensive to book one night with two meals on the weekend. If you come on weekdays, the cost performance will be very high!

We stayed in a suite for 2 nights with breakfast and dinner included. There are about 3 shuttle buses to and from Izukogen Station every hour, making it convenient to access from the station. The driver was also very chatty and enthusiastic, and he told us about various sightseeing spots. The room was very spacious and equipped with DHC amenities, so I was able to enjoy a luxurious trip while looking out at the Izu sea (shampoo and body soap are not provided in the room, but you can borrow them for free at the front desk) ). Welcome snacks were provided every day, and the chestnut buns and dried filefish were delicious. I am glad that the shower and bathtub are separate and comfortable, but there is a bit of mold in the corner of the bathroom, and I think that proper measures should be taken. For dinner, a wide variety of dishes are served using local ingredients, from hot pot dishes to fried dishes, and it goes without saying that the dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. I stayed for two consecutive nights, and I was impressed by the thoughtfulness with which they prepared a different menu each day. I feel that there is room for improvement in the taste of the breakfast, and I was concerned that one young male employee was not very polite and did not use honorific language during busy times. Since the hotel is attached to Akazawa Onsenkyo, you can also use the day trip hot spring facility for free during your stay. The hot springs in the hotel building had cascading baths, herbal baths, and open-air baths, so it was fun, but the day-trip hot springs were full of men with tattoos making a lot of noise, which was a bit creepy! ! There was no hair dryer at the hot spring facility, so I returned to my room with damp hair. To summarize, I was satisfied with the hotel as a whole, but there were some areas that were not well-maintained. I don't plan on visiting you again.

Even if it rains, the sea view outside is very beautiful. There is nothing to eat around, and the hotel does not provide meals after 9 o'clock. You can only buy snacks on the first floor, and you need to arrange your meal time.

The room is very big, the service and hot spring are also very good! There are many restaurants and supermarkets near the plateau station, which is convenient for shopping. It is also very convenient to go to the attractions directly at the zoo.

During this trip, this hotel may be the most disappointing. First of all, the room itself is relatively old, so the facilities and equipment are not so new (this was known before booking). However, we may not know this hotel well. The rules of the hotel mean that everyone must take a hot spring when staying here, so the hotel does not need shower gel and shampoo in the room by default, because there is no shampoo, shower gel, or conditioner in our room. After searching for a long time, we only found makeup remover Oil, gel, hand sanitizer; later I called the front desk, and the front desk asked us to look for it. We said we couldn’t find it, so we sent a set. In addition, we brought a 10-year-old child, and this is the only one that needs to be collected. For the children’s accommodation fee, we told you that you need to charge an additional 5,300 yen when you check in, and you also paid an additional 400 yen for spa tax when you checked out. Although we didn’t go to the spa at all, the front desk said that the local area is This fee is charged; however, you can take the hotel's free shuttle bus from Izu Kogen Station.
