The hotel was beautiful, the service was spectacular, as was the cleanliness, there was not a single detail, the view of the pool was beautiful and cozy, there was peace and tranquility in the restaurant, the food was outstanding and the breakfast at the buffet was quite extensive, although the price was a little high but I loved it because all of Asia was complete, everything was covered in detail and it was located inside and the train station was 4 minutes away so it met my expectations

Room smelled horrible. There was mold and dust on all floor and ceiling edges. There was a large stain in the bathtub and dirt. Breakfast was so-so but edible. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one was that the front desk staff was very nice.

This is the worst Embassy Suites we have ever stayed at. We have frequently stayed with Embassy Suites all over the country. However, never will we stay here again! After driving all day the in-room dining hung up on us twice. When went down to ask why the woman said “I haven’t eaten all day” So I guess she feels justified in hanging up on us continuously. I will say the two young women at the front desk were wonderful. The building is old, rooms are dark and dirty and in need of a renovation.

We just stayed for 5 nights at this hotel and the staff is AMAZING!! Our first morning we met Chef Gwen who makes the best omelets anywhere!! I requested a ham, tomato, onion, and extra cheese and it was wonderful – fluffy inside with just a touch of “crispy” cheese pieces along the edges. I had told my husband that I would share, as it was a big omelet, but I can tell you that I had trouble doing so as it was so delicious!! Omelets are not her only specialty! The next day I requested 2 eggs over easy and again – perfection – the whites perfectly cooked with the yolks runny as I took my first bite! The breakfast staff is incredible – Valerie and Edna keeping the chafing dishes full of fluffy, creamy scrambled eggs; bacon (both crispy and not so crispy pieces), turkey and pork sausages, potatoes, pancakes and also cereal, fruit, bakery, and coffee/tea stations. As they replenished, they continuously cleaned the areas. And out in the eating area Shaquilla was wheeling her clean-up cart around picking up used dishes and wiping down the tables as quickly as people left. Throughout all, the staff was chatting kindly, asking if we needed anything, and if everything was OK. On to our actual stay: Housekeeping staff: Ivy and Shayla coming out of the rooms they were cleaning to quickly and kindly provide us with extra towels and bar soap at our request; Sean holding the elevator for us as he was taking out a load of garbage and graciously suggesting that we go down alone, but coming with us when I insisted, and kindly chatting about our stay and asking if we needed anything else. (We came across Sean a couple of times during our stay and he remembered us – saying “hi” and asking how we were doing, and always holding the elevator for us!) And can’t leave out the great work-out room, huge indoor pool, and jacuzzi!!! The only drawback is that the level of evening reception snacks has gone from cheese, crackers and crudités to chips and salsa, pretzels and trail mix. This hotel is definitely one of our favorites to stay at when we are in the Jacksonville, FL area and all of it has to do with the amazing 100% AAA+++ level of guest “care” that the staff always shows us. Thank you all for your kindness and hard work – especially as hurricane Milton was hitting the west coast of FL on the day we were leaving!

I would not recommend staying here, and it is not up to usual standards. I love staying at Embassy Suites usually, but this location is not good. We checked in and found multiple bugs on the beds in our room. I cannot tell for sure if they were bed bugs due to them being small, but I believe they were. We switched rooms which was good, but our new room had a leak from the ceiling dripping down on our bathroom sink. Overall, it is just outdated, and very dirty. Not the usual experience I have been used to at other Embassy Suites.

Very disgusting place. Staff was rude and our hotel was not cleaned the whole time we were there. It was dusty, dirty and gave us all respiratory infections! I would never recommend this place to anyone ever

Never again! This place is very outdated, and everything was rusty. They ran out of towels and washcloths. The ONLY thing that was okay, was breakfast. There were several family reunions there, so it was hard to enjoy any amenities that they offered.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Jacksonville on our way home from Miami. I was mostly disappointed. First I should tell you a few good things: 1) The breakfast spread and omelet bar were phenomenal! Gwen, the omelet chef was awesome. I don't know how she does it. 2) The water in the room is not good, but the front desk attendant gave me two free bottles of water. Here are some not good things: 1) We didn't get there until 8:30 pm and there were no 2-queen suites available. The lady at the front desk told me "housekeeping fell behind today". They offered us a 2-double bed suite with a fold out couch. We took it because we didn't have many choices at that time of night. They said they couldn't give me any money back because the room they were moving us to was an "executive suite" that was actually an upgrade. If by "upgrade" they meant higher ceilings and a desk then I guess it was. Either way, because they were full beds and not queens, me, my sister, and my husband, each had to sleep with one of the kids. My husband had to sleep on the fold out couch. 2) In the bathroom there were only 4 tissues in the tissue box, and virtually empty shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower. The air conditioner register was filthy and full of dust. We all woke up coughing. I used to LOVE staying at Embassy Suites growing up. In my experience lately though it really seems to have gone down hill. This was my second ES on this trip and neither experience was great.

We stayed 1 night in a 2 room suite. It was clean and spacious. Check in was fast and easy. Breakfast was great. Breakfast on the weekends is served til 10am. Lots of restaurants nearby as well for dinner or breakfast. We didn’t visit the pool because we were exhausted from a long travel day.

In my opinion, the Embassy Suites brand of hotels has one of the best, if not the best “complimentary” breakfasts. The breakfast at this hotel did not disappoint! Chef Ed cooked an amazing omelet stuffed with my favorites – ham, tomatoes, onions, and double cheese (so cool when he flips over the omelet in the pan with a flick of his wrist) and very kindly motioned to me when my omelet was done, as I had walked over to the bread station to place a piece of bread into the toaster. Similar was Chef Gwen who cooks the best eggs over easy and also motioned to me when they were done. Ashley, Emma, Elysia, Gabby & Michael, were easily and readily available in the breakfast area re-filling stations, wiping up spills, and kindly asking guests if they needed anything. Over at the guest tables, David and Kailin quickly bussed and cleaned tables, noticing when guests had finished their meals and graciously coming up to them to ask if they could take their dishes. At the evening reception Simone greeted me and kindly chatted about the importance of separate serving utensils for the various snacks due to allergies (such as peanut) that guests may have. And a special thank you to evening reception Otis who kindly took back to the kitchen to wash out my plastic containers that had accidentally fallen into the garbage and brought out some new ones for me! This amazing service extends to the housekeeping staff. I met Adel in the hallway and he quickly dashed around the corner and came back with extra towels and toilet paper as I requested, and then provided information on where the washer/dryer were located. The next day I saw Adel again and reported that the hall lamp next to our room had been pulled off, and by the next morning it was fixed. We used the pool and Jacuzzi every day and Tonya ensured that the bathrooms were cleaned, clean towels were available, and then she mopped the floor outside the pool, all the while offering a hello and kind smile when she saw us. We have stayed at this hotel many times and this is why we keep coming back – the 100% AAA+++ guest care. I use the word “care” as the staff that we met at this hotel was kind, gracious and professional in all of our interactions, exhibiting a level of service way above!! Thank you all for making our stay excellent!!! They all deserve a raise or at the very least a bonus as you can be sure that we will recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

We are Diamond members and stay over 60 nights a year in Hilton brand hotels and this is the worst experience we have had yet. We checked into 2 rooms April 12 after 9pm. One of our two rooms was freezing and when we tried to increase the thermostat temperature to the max, it continued to blow out freezing air. We called the front desk and they sent maintenance at 10pm. He had to open a door in the bathroom ceiling and came out with one of our towels around his neck…He said he would go check the heat pump and it should work but he’d be back “in a few minutes “. An hour later we checked back with the front desk as no one could shower since we knew he was coming and needed the bathroom ceiling. He arrived 5 minutes after we contacted the front desk smelling like cigarettes so he obviously had been smoking rather than helping us. He brought a metal space heater for us which we were afraid to use out of safety. So we froze all night. But there’s more! Of the 8 pillows in the room, only 2 had pillowcases that were large enough to cover the entire pillow! 1/4 of the pillows everyone used was exposed! This is not hygienic! We alerted front desk and they kindly sent up 2…not enough for all pillows- just 2! The bathroom was dirty and the sofa was ripped. There was an opened tea bag in the coffee maker area. I would suggest you stay anywhere but here! We won’t be back!

Went to check in at 4 pm. Had to wait 1 hour 40 min for our room. Hotel is dirty and dated. Stayed 2 nights. No cleaning in between check in and check out. Have stayed in lots of embassy suites. Not up to standards. What else to say……will not be staying again.

I think it's time for Hilton to remodel this one or close it down. It's old, it's smelly, it's dirty. It took us two day, four calls to the front desk, and finally a visit to the front desk before we could get our room cleaned. We used to enjoy staying here, but no more. There was so much dust on the beside lamps it was obvious it had been a very long time since they had even dusted. We typically like their breakfast, but now everything seems like they're trying to cut corners, big bowls of yogurt instead of individual containers, and the same with cereal - how many hands touch those little turning knobs to get a bowl of cereal crumbs because it crushes the cereal as it comes out. It just seems so unsanitary. I would much rather grab a little repacked box. Otherwise, they were always out of milk and refused to refill, can't get green tea on the weekends only during the week, you're lucky if you get real fork and not a plastic one, or a table that's been cleaned. I'm not a total germaphobe, but if is the stuff I see I can't even imagine what's in the areas I can't see. They take the lines from the rooms and pile them in the hallways to sit there all day for you to walk around. Bonus one of the elevators was down for four days.
