I had a fantastic stay at Yingju Inn. The hotel is located in the most central place of Shaxi village. But more importantly, the manager was very helpful and professional. She speaks perfectly English and was able to help me for many things. She indicated me all the sights to visit in the area, and she booked my bus for me. It worth to be noticed, because after almost one month in China, it was the first time that I had a hotel with an English-speaking staff.

By car, you can park your car in the parking lot of Lanlinge Hotel, and it only takes five minutes to walk there. Opposite the small courtyard is the big old tree where Ah Nai sells things. It is very close to Sideng Street and the ancient stage. There are three set meals to choose from for breakfast. After staying for two days, I tasted the bait set set and the Western set set. The taste and presentation were very attentive. The overall environment and supplies are good, and it's very comfortable to stay.

A super good stay experience, it goes well with my beloved Shaxi. After arriving at the hotel, you will get a free upgrade to the suite, a fruit plate, hot milk at night, afternoon tea, breakfast and personalized services. Everything from hardware to software is great! The ladies at the B&B are also great, considerate, gentle and beautiful! It made me identify the Jixiashan brand, and I will choose it if I have the chance🤩🤩🤩I hope Shaxi will always be like this, quiet and beautiful! It is the most beautiful countryside and ancient town. At least for now.

This place is in a great location just outside the Main Street - about a 5 minute walk. It was extremely clean, comfy and perfect for all our needs. The staff were really friendly and used to working with foreign travellers. If we came back to Shaxi, we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

The room was very nice, spacious, bright and tidy. The location is also very good. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the streets. In the morning, when I opened the window and listened quietly to the sound of drizzle and the chirping of birds in the empty valley, it seemed that everything should be like this, I should be here, this is how my life should be, everything is so peaceful. Calm and relaxed, this is the feeling Pingshe gives me, my heart seems to be soothed. The boss is a very life-loving and warm-hearted person. He took my children and I to and from the ancient town, helped with luggage, and recommended reliable travel plans for our reference, which made our itinerary planning more complete. He also gave us a small gift before leaving. Thank you😊. My children and I usually like to go out for a walk starting from lunch, eating and watching on the street, so happy! There is a very good bookstore near the ancient town. You need to walk along the country road after crossing the bridge to get there. The scenery along the way is so beautiful! There will also be a local market on Friday, with many snacks and vegetables that I have never seen before, which is very interesting. Come to Shaxi, Pingshe is really a good choice!

The hotel I stayed in in Shaxi this time was really nice, and the butler service was very enthusiastic. We checked out at 4pm and we were not charged! I booked a suite. I wanted to stay in the room that the fairy sister stayed in. I arranged it immediately. It was awesome.

Shaxi Ancient Town is a place I must visit every time I come to Caiyunzhinan. In my opinion, it is the most beautiful and uncommercial ancient town. The Xiaotuanyuan Inn I stayed at this time is particularly worth recommending. It is located in the core of Shaxi Ancient Town, just a few minutes' walk from the ancient stage. There is no traffic in the core area of the ancient town, and the alleys are all stone and difficult to walk on. The inn lady was very enthusiastic and picked me up with the luggage cart, which was very warm. The inn was newly renovated after the Spring Festival, and the bed was very comfortable. It actually used a Serta mattress. The room has air conditioning, screen windows, and even a seal on the bottom of the door. The yard is very quiet, spacious and clean, even in rainy weather, but the inn has a drum washing machine and dryer that can be used. In addition, the Bai Yusi for breakfast is great. Farewell Shaxi, goodbye Little Reunion, I will definitely stay at your house next time I come.

Staying at this family run hotel turned out to be the highlight of our visit to Shaxi ancient town. The hotel has beautiful courtyards and impressive building architecture. It’s situated just steps away from the ancient town with many restaurants and shops nearby yet remains a quiet oasis once we step into the hotel. The hotel room is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Bed is clean and comfortable with heated blanket. The host is very friendly and helped provide tips on attractions around town and transportation to Shaxi town. Breakfast was delicious and to our delight western breakfast option was provided. Good value for money and highly recommended.

Shaxi is an ancient town on the Tea Horse Road. It has a long history, simple folk customs, and well-preserved ancient buildings. It is an ancient town worth visiting. I traveled alone this time and stayed at Xiangmo Youth Hostel for four nights in a row. I stayed in a girls' quadruple room. The price was about 50 yuan per night, which was very economical. The boss volunteers and staff are friendly, gentle and provide enthusiastic service. There is a public washing area with sufficient toilets, a roof platform for drying, and a paid washing machine. Shampoo and shower gel are provided in the shower room. Each bed has a small lamp, shelves and sockets for placing items. The bed is relatively spacious and I slept very comfortably. I've made some interesting friends here. I hope I will choose to stay here again when I visit Shaxi again in the future. The only suggestion is that the water pressure of the bath water is low and the water volume is too small. I hope it can be improved.
