The sounds of the young couple next door talking on the phone, watching TV, having late-night snacks, and the traffic were all clearly audible until 2 AM when it finally quieted down. The room was indeed large, but the floorboards creaked underfoot. The cabinets also occasionally made a clattering sound. I went to the front desk to ask for a cup of hot water to make my child's cold medicine, but the receptionist told me there was no hot water and I would have to go outside to the security guard's office to get some… So, wearing slippers and braving the light rain, I went out to get hot water. It wasn't good, nor was it bad, but it just didn't seem to match the 711 yuan per night price…"

"There was a large, obviously dirty stain on the sofa. After showering for only a short while, the water quickly filled up, leaving my feet soaking in dirty water. I could only give myself a quick, perfunctory wash. I initially thought it was just a slow drain, but later discovered a large clump of hair blocking it. While I wouldn't say the hotel was completely uncleaned, it certainly wasn't. The receptionist was very helpful. The hotel's location is good; it's very convenient to get to the Maoshan Visitor Center, right across the street, within easy walking distance. Free parking is available."
