We just left Cathrin hotel. Our experience was amazing❣️ The heart of the hotel are the people. Roxana at the reception was a very friendly and warm lady she was just brilliant! Thanks a milion. The boys at the bar Janis,Nikos,Angelo were making our stay memorable. They are so frendly and always smiling. Dino on the restaurant the most cheerful person and made us laugh. If you are looking for a loving and kind hotel I hugely recommend this one. We will remember you guys and a huge thank you 😘

Stayed here unwillingly in August 2023 to the start of September. We where moved here by our original hotel due to the issues in the UK when the air systems went down. When first approaching the hotel looks great. However this is not the case. Staff are rude including the two women on reception, the older lady on one occasion was staring at my chest. When reported they did nothing to resolve it. We spent as little time as possible at the hotel due to it being so bad. Anybody that thinks this is a 4 star hotel must be blind. Bad food in the middle of no where and horrible rooms.

WOW WOW WOW!!!!!! I am still here but sadly on my last day. The staff are something else, if anyone or any company needs to learn customer service skills, come here and learn them. I cannot fault a single one of them. I need to mention Toula and Sophia on the front desk in particular, they go above and beyond anyone's expectations but the restaurant staff are as equally something else. Never in all of my travels have I been somewhere that the staff have made my holiday so enjoyable rather than the place itself. Please don't get me wrong, the place is stunning if you're not an expectant Karen that wants a champagne stay on a lemonade budget. The manager, oh my god the hotel manager ❤️ Thank you to you all for making my stay so amazing. I will return one day and recommend you to every single person I know. A thousand thank yous for everything. I have had the most incredible time and I will miss you all

Me and my partner stayed here for 5 nights and despite this being a 4 star hotel, we thought this was more of a 2-3 star hotel. The bar and entertainment were great but I think this lets itself down with the rooms as I’ve never stayed in a room that small before and the air conditioning units are very unique but loud. We only had one plug available in the entire room

Just returned from a 10 day stay. We arrived late on Tuesday and were met by the friendly and helpful receptionist. Our room (superior, overlooking the pool), I would recommend this as it was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony and views. The breakfast, lunch and dinner options were varied and on par with most other all inclusive hotels around the Mediterranean destinations. All types of eggs, bacon, sausages, cheeses, fruits, breads. Lunches were also varied with lots of options for all and the dinners were the same with lots of salad available as well as meat, fish, bolognaise, pastas, rice, there were theme nights which included Italian, Asian, International, Greek etc, loads of desserts available too. Snack we’re available in between too. You would not go hungry or find it difficult to find a meal you like. Loads of drinks are on offer during meal times. All the food was very tasty and I didn’t end up with anything that I didn’t like. The pool bar is great and the evening bar also great, all of the bar and food hall staff were very friendly. The pool is large enough but you do need to secure sun beds early in the morning, no different to anywhere else I feel. Entertainment staff are on hand and will try to get you involved in water polo, water aerobics and darts etc. the evening entertainment was quizzes, bingo, Greek dancing etc. We went down to the nearby bay (Ladiko and Anthony Quinn Bay) which are a short walk away and both beautiful, both have bars. Faliraki is a 20-30 minute walk away or a cheap taxi ride and there are plenty of bars and shops there. We got a taxi to Rhodes Town for about €30 each way and this is highly recommended, the old town is stunning, a Miriad of beautiful winding streets filled with shops and bars and restaurants leading down to the port and harbour. We also did a trip to Symi, was picked up from the hotel and taken to Rhodes town for the boat across to Symi for about €50 each and this included a trip across the island to the Monastery. A stunning island. We had a fantastic stay and could not fault anything, I have read some of the other reviews and fail to understand how people can reasonably find much to complain about! By the way the two (broken) windows are a design feature, crackled glass, I didn’t see a ghost unless you count the scarecrow made of sheets in the land next to the pool and I wondered around this land taking photos of the wildlife (lizzards, birds and dragonflies) and can confirm there are no snakes! By the way the little church next door is lovely. I would, and will most definitely stay here again.

Honest Review - STAY Sept 2023 room 150. So after reading all the negative reviews we were going to keep an open mind. If you’ve read some of these reviews, I can tell you the following from our experience. We DID NOT see any snakes! We DID NOT see any broken windows ( the glass crazing in the hotel is to reduce the heat and sun rather than use curtains) We DID NOT experience any rude staff, they all work tirelessly for us. Our room was pool and sea facing with air con, the evening we arrived the air con was not working, after a visit to reception the manager had us another temporary room within 10 minutes! GREAT SERVICE! The engineer was called and by 8am it was fixed. The room was spacious and airy, bathroom was clean and modern, and the shower was well pressured, but above all the bed was super comfy! Food- was great value for money! Breakfast- Omelette, scrambled, fried and boiled eggs (3 & 5 minute boil time.) sausages, salads, lots of types of bread, there were oats and cornflakes, Greek yogurt was very tasty! Fresh fruit, pastries, I’m sure I’ve missed loads. But unless you’re extremely fussy, there really is something for everyone. Lunch was always plentiful again lots a varied salad, sun-dried tomato’s fresh fruit inclusions huge nectarines, hot counter always had different meats and fish, rice and potato’s. Dinners were themed Asian, Mexican Greek, international & again unless you’re a super fussy eater you are not going to starve. The food is always cooked freshly and very varied in type. Desserts are very good and always had ice cream to help yourself to throughout the day. SUNBEDS- you do have to get up at 7am for a bed though, this isn’t a reflection on the hotel but is a race to get one before they are reserved!! Although we always stayed with ours as we felt it rude to reserve and then go out for the morning to come back to a reserved bed! Summarise: we paid £42 per night for this hotel through a package deal not including our flights and transfers. We had no issues with this hotel at all. Nighttime noisy guests cannot be a reflection on the hotel as this is just a them issue and hopefully they will learn some respect, that when others are sleeping late at night be quiet. I would have no hesitation in returning to the Cathrin Hotel, taxis to nearby towns are around €12-15. But buses are also available. Local bays are beautiful and well worth a visit!

After Reading Some Reviews I was a little worried, so I sent an email straight to the hotel .I had a fast reply. I was allocated in a Superior Room with a Fantastic view at the pool. The Room was being made daily,The food was simple in the lunch time but durin the Dinner there was theme nights such as Greek Asian Mexican .Theme nights were very good. The drinks were the basic quality as every all inclusive Hotel. The Shuttle bus to the beach is free 3 times a day free of charge. The animation should be improved Very nice and Helpful personnel. It was a very good and relaxing holidays

I agree with all the negative reviews here! The mattress is 3 or 4 inches thick and hard. The sea view room was very outdated and dirty, the toilet was brown and no bleach was used to clean it. it felt as though I was in a room from the 60's or 70's although the sea view was nice from the balcony hence an added star. The air con unit kept dripping and had to use towels to dry, I told reception and nothing was done. Certain areas of the pool felt slimy on the floor and even after washing your clothes they stink like pond water, I dont think the right amount of chemicals were used to keep the water clean. If you want a sunbed with a sponge you have to get to the pool by 6.30am 1/3 of the beds dont have sponges so people walk around with them swapping from bed to bed and a lot of the beds are broken, tbh this was the worst part of the holiday for me if you wanted a day by the pool someone has to get up early. The food was ok but was repetitive. Apart for breakfast there was hardly any English food., only chips. You get tea plates for your breakfast, there was one coffee machine and only served at breakfast or bar which didn't open till later. I dont know who awarded this hotel a 4 star. No chance! More like a 2 Apart from the Greek night on a Monday, the entertainment wasnt great and quite repetitive. The amount of money I spent on this holiday I'm awarding it a 1 and not a 2 star for the sea view.
