Flyinn Hostel

Good choose if your are cycling through Taiwan counterclockwise, since you are at the edge of the city (perfect for setting out early) but it's still close to the city centre. Metro right around the corner, as well as a few shopping malls, etc. The room is clean, although I spent all my time sneezing in there for some reason. No windows. Toilets and showers are very clean and restocked. Very safe if you are a woman since you need a card to get anywhere. My bicycle was stored in the basement for free, although I was unable to get to it after reception closed.

Was the biggest and nicest hostel I stayed at this trip. It was clean and the room had plenty of space. Not that close to the central area but there is a Subway station nearby. Also, I felt one of the staff was a little curt but that could be because it was his off day or he didn't understand what I was saying.

With non-smoking policy that’s rally great One disadvantage is this is not a good hostel to make new friends. I could understand that for security reason, public area is closed. No people contact Only area you can meet new friends is in toilet and shower area.

Overall the Hostel has a good shared room of 8 people. It offers a good locker for private belongings and extra space for shoes, clothes. On my bed the light was broken but that didnt bother me too much. One day the cleaning clerk came in the room at 8.30 and was very loud making up a bed of one person who left. I think that could be done a little bit later. In total the stay was good.

Near to the metro station. Spacious, clean and tidy. They do provide the slipper.

Very impressed with the cleanliness and the pride the employees take in the establishment. I had stayed at another hostel not too far away the previous nights and I won't be going back there. Fly Inn was so much cleaner and nicer. It felt more like a hotel, but only the bathroom was down the hall. The bathroom was clean and nice to have windows in the showers for ventilation. At some places the showers can feel so damp, crowded and be dark. These showers are nice. My only suggestion is a bit more privacy at the urinals. It didn't happen while I was there, but I wouldn't like women walking past me to go to the toilet and seeing my backside (hopefully no more than that) while urinating. ********* are more use to that, I guess. My future plans do included trips to Kaohsiung and I anticipate more stays at Fly Inn.

If you wanna checkin to this hostel, you must press the lift button to go to B1 which is the reception. Then, the worker will show you to your room with an access card. There's also laundry room at B1, you can wash and dry your clothes here. 40 yuan for washing machine and 10 yuan for every 5 mins for the dryer.

The facilities were very good, but not much of an atmosphere. In addition the cleaner went in the room to clean around 8:30am as someone was checking out and was very noisy, which doesn't happen in other places.
