Great location walking near Train station, Hotel is very clean and staffs is very friendly and helpful. Food round near by too.

Other than the guide being a bit irritable, I am satisfied with everything. The location is very good. It's very close to the subway station. It’s also convenient to get to the airport. The price is cheap too.

The hotel is a few hundred metres from Kaohsiung Station, so it's location is its selling point. The building is old with dated decorations, but everything worked. It is not terrible, but for me it is the type of hotel you book just to sleep one night and nothing more.

First I wanted to book the double room but it was sold out. but the single room has everything I need. The hotel is well located near the night market and the mrt station. the staff speaks good English and very attentive. They have a their own designed map where you can find local things to see and eat around. I had a really good rest as the bed is comfortable. I would stay here again once I come back in Kaohsiung! I hope they will open branch in other parts of Taiwan, because I went to their Pier branch first by mistake and the vibe is the same! Would highly recommend this hotel

The room is big and the location is very good The bed was great and the water pressure was great Hygiene is no problem The room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, and turning up the air conditioner didn't help. I stayed for only three nights and the room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke on two days. My friend lives on the 5th floor and there is no cigarette smell. I live on the 3rd floor. Let me give you a reference.

The location of the Grand Hotel Kaohsiung is better than the location of the Grand Hotel Taipei. Also, the view from the guest room at this hotel was better than the one that my parents got when staying at the Grand Hotel Taipei. The view at the Grand Hotel Kaohsiung faces the front of the hotel with trees and the water fountain. The view at the Grand Hotel Taipei was the parking lot. The subway is a bit far from the hotel. The room was quite big and the price was fine. Also, the room was clean and tidy.

Hotel is a bit old but the rooms are clean although there was a dripping faucet that’s loud. Loved how the room was all white. Breakfast is included but I saw a small bug at the breakfast table which lost my appetite, but understandable because of the hotel’s age. Located close to the night market so easy to get around.

The location of the hotel is great, easily found and convenient. However, The hotel door have a massive gaps at the bottom which I’m not sure if it’s actually meet the fire regulations, also I was near to the lift so it’s quite nosy. The bed was quite big and comfy and the room size is good.

The service attitude is first-class, the decoration is also very good, and the supplies and different details are very considerate. It's a pity that I booked the largest room and said there was a window. Unfortunately, I only said that there was a window when I arrived at the scene, but I couldn't see the outside. It was like a ”dark room”. I couldn't see the outside at all. The room was dark all day long. This is very disappointing, after all, it is not cheap. 😵💫

The room is clean and the facilities are average but the price is reasonable😂🤣So the comparison is OK😝😝There are not many types of breakfast, but it is considered to be better than the Skyline Monarch. The Tianji Monarch restaurant is like dining in the auditorium.
