Hotels with Bars in Karuizawa

I really enjoyed my stay at this brand new hotel. Although it has been open for a couple of months, they have kept everything spotless. The lobby with open fire is beautiful and a comfortable area to have a drink and relax. The room itself was also incredibly clean and everything worked well including the WiFi. The hanten jackets were in the colours of the Ukranian flag which was a nice touch. The breakfast was good, as was the restaurant in the evening. The public bath was a nice place to soak after dinner. Service was good although it's clear the team was new and still training - I am sure this will change in time. Small criticim is there was no room service menu in the room. This was fine as it was on the TV but navigating to the menu needed Japanese skills. The architecture and general design is fantastic, as are the fittings and the carpets are just beautiful - same as all new IHG properties I think.

I stayed in a room with an open-air bath ２. My husband and ２ It's too big for people. The dinner at the hotel was expensive, so I was going to eat out, but there was a microwave, a large refrigerator, and a nearby supermarket, so I had both meals in a comfortable room. One thing to say is that the bedding was not a bed, so it was a little hard with tatami mats. The room with an open-air bath for my son and his wife was a bed. I would like to stay again when I go to Karuizawa.

The property is very charming and the photos shown are true to actual. Location is a bit far from the station so best to arrange the shuttle bus service or take a cab. Room is neat and cosy and the private onsen is a nice bonus. Breakfast is lovely and the fresh vegetables were amazing however the dinner was a let down as it wasn’t served in the restaurant. Instead we were provided with a voucher for redemption at the bar. The food is just average, beef was not very fresh, and your clothes and hair reek of smell after dinner as they cook the food right at the bar.

The front desk 竹村, on June 18th 10:50, she told us there’s no pick up service after check out (there is), without offering any assistance to deliver our bags to the station. We feel that the staffs are poorly trained when it comes to the hotel facility nor their communication skills. The hotel itself is highly enjoyable especially the hot spring! Everything is brand new and the surroundings are epic! I’m sorry to have to minus one star because of 竹村’s poor reaction to customers’ requests.

The breakfast buffet was impressive, beautifully arranged and delicious. It was the nicest breakfast buffet I’d ever seen. The restaurant staff were really nice. Hotel offered a complimentary “shuttle service” which is a ride in two really nice Mercedes cars. This service is just to certain spots. Drivers spoke good English and were really nice. The reception staff was a bit of hid and miss, some spoke good enough English and some were considerably better. They were never rude but maybe not as friendly as in other places we stayed. The rooms were really nice and comfortable. They had special amenities for children and super cute pjs. It is a really nice boutique hotel.

This time I went to Qingjingze with my friends. The travel agency recommended this hotel as the most convenient. It’s also very close to OUUTLET if you want to go shopping. You can also take a bath in the hotel. Next time I will bring my husband with me.

It is easy to understand because it is close to Karuizawa Station and is located on the main street. However, it is difficult to understand the entrance of the hotel, but I wondered if I should enter from the restaurant. Only standard double rooms are available for dogs. It's pretty narrow. It feels like a stylish business hotel. The bed is comfortable. There is a large dog gauge toilet sheet and a butt wipe. The bathroom and toilet are in the same room, but they are large. I was interested in the toilet. Should I remove the toilet seat when cleaning? The amenities were in a cute cloth bag for two people, but there was no toothbrush in one cloth bag. There are 2 bottles of mineral water in the wine cellar. It's a pity that there is no pot. It would be nice to have a water server that can produce hot water without a pot. There are 2 coin laundry machines. Ice maker, juice and alcohol are sold by themselves. The restaurant is delicious, but the amount of dinner and morning is large, and the contents are covered, so it seems that you will get tired of staying for consecutive nights or using it frequently ... The taste is strong (good compatibility with alcohol) Even for people with small children I was there, but maybe my kids aren't likely to eat it. Dessert also has an adult taste. The restaurant is very cold near the entrance and on the window side and requires a coat. All the staff are kind. It is cheap considering the food and convenience for the price. Especially recommended for those who want to enjoy the whole of Karuizawa and enjoy Spanish cuisine. I want to use it again.

The hotel can provide pick-up and drop-off, which we didn't know until the day we left. The waiter asked us if we needed to be sent to the station. There were 6 of us in the group and we had a lot of luggage, and the hotel sent it to the station for free. I guess you can call the hotel and ask them to pick you up when you get to the Shinkansen station. If you are walking, walk south for 13 minutes after exiting the Shinkansen station and turn right for 2 minutes to reach the hotel. The hotel is in a forest, and there is a church next to it. The scenery nearby is very good, and there are three choices for breakfast. Very close to the old Karuizawa sightseeing and dining street. The hotel is a bit old, but the service is still very good.

There will be always a place in my heart for Wellies. Everything to be concerned in a trip seems non-worried under the help of Chris and Judy. It’s funny to experience such an idiomatic British style accommodation and breakfast in a country named Japan where traditional culture prevails. Of course Must! Must! Must！enjoy a glass(or glasses) of Judini at the lobby bar at night, I believe bartender Judy would love to offer her original creation as well as the songs of her beloved Robbie Williams.

It is a hotel with a pet-themed theme, so the guests are mainly Japanese. Hotel location is far from the train station, suitable for self-driving tourists. The facilities and rooms are clean and tidy. Dinner is a French meal, the food is very good, and the breakfast is very high. The waiter is kind and polite and worth recommending!
