Sani Dunes

This place is wonderful this is our 3rd time it gets better every time the manager and all the staff are all fabulous. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels in Greece, Spain, Mauritius,Canada to name a few but these know how to do it that's all that needs saying

Visited the Sani Dunes in May and enjoyed the resort immensely. The Sani Resort is made up of several varied hotels and villas complexes, all surrounding the marina. We had a private garden villa just yards from the pool. The accommodation was excellent, spacious, relaxing and located near to the shops and restaurants adjacent to the marina. The complimentary Coffee machine was a perfect way to relax in the beautiful private garden. Sani Resort enjoys the most spectacular sunsets every night. The staff were always so friendly and accommodating, making the whole experience that much more enjoyable. Without doubt a FIVE STAR venue.

we have made a reservation for May 24. we are sure that once again that all will be perfect! we look forward to being in a quiet and beautiful environment. we have confidence in the team of Mr. Ouzounis (all guys are awesome) Like here nowhere! In Sani we trust!

I visited Sani Dunes with my family last year for the first time. I can say that it was the best experience ever in a resort. The staff is so kind and always with a smile. The gardens are so beautiful and well kept. The rooms are very comfortable and sunny. The breakfast was good in both restaurants and the food in the whole resort is very tasty. As for the resort there are a lot of activities to participate and a lot of options for dinner and lunch.We will definitely visit Sani Dunes again and I recommend to all of the people out there to visit Sani at least once and live this unforgettable experience.

Another perfect stay at Sani Dunes. We have been going to Sani Dunes since it opened and it keep getting better. This time we went with friends and their children and the experience was even better. The resort is as immaculate as the day it opened and the service levels superb as always. We had two fabulous weeks and Sani provided the perfect environment for our holiday, we could spend time with our friends and their children but also get 'Adults Only' time, both were a perfect sanctuary of relaxation. The resort has Adults Only restaurants, pool areas, beach areas and bars. The Beach House was our favourite restaurant, so peaceful and quiet for both breakfast and dinner. We ate at The Market which was fun and better for the children in our party. We loved the beach, which is so large you can sit 100m away from any other person if you choose, but we like a bit of life (and the Adult Only areas were actually more lively than the other areas). The pool however we did like peace and so sat in the Adults Only areas and enjoyed the sunbed side bar service, especially my husband. ;-) I do have to mentioned the curmudgeonly comments another poster made about the children in the hotel. This hotel was Adults Only for about 3 months in 2017 and it was beautiful, we went as soon as it was opened (we had also stayed in the Sani Asterias which is also adults only), it was then opened up to families at the beginning of 2018 and we have chosen to stay there ever since as a child-free couple, it is just as beautiful, elegant and relaxing but a lot more enjoyable. We have never seen children running around, we have also never seen couples with more than 3 children and the average is probably 1 child, maybe less with plenty of child-free couples. Porto and Sani Beach are a lot busier with children but Dunes is the quiet more relaxing hotel, perhaps the poster as mixed them up. I suspect if you eat at certain restaurants at 5 or 6pm, you may get a little more noise, but we ate at 7.30/8.00pm and every dinner was beautiful and peaceful, whether we ate alone or with our friends. It is certainly not over-run with children. All in all, after 12 years of visiting Sani in various different hotels, initially with our now adult children then the last 8 years as a couple, Dunes is most definitely our favourite and the only Sani hotel we now stay at. Perfect relaxation, we now love taking friends so they can experience this perfect hotel. Thank you to Nikos, Sakis, Anna, Panagiota, Alex, George, Dimitris and everyone else at Sani Dunes. We've already booked to go back twice later this year.

We have been going to Dunes for some years now and there really is nothing to fault. From the moment you arrive to the (awful!) moment you have to leave, the Sani Dunes staff make sure everything is perfect. Nothing is too much trouble - Andreea is amazing although all staff at the Dunes reception will help with anything you need from lost property to day trips. We love Katsu, I think it's my favourite restaurant ever! And Market is great as the Dunes restaurant for breakfast and dinner, great variety of food and even when it's busy, there's no shortage of food or attention. We love Beach House for lunch, great staff, great food, great views. I love that you can choose how much or little you do. We go for relaxation (try the couples massage) but everyone seems to be enjoying something - tennis, sport classes, football academy (our 14 year old daughter still loves this) or just a walk in the beautiful surroundings. The only downside of this amazing holiday is that you'll be forever comparing your other holidays to Dunes and Dunes will always win! We can't wait for our next visit!

We were guests in Sani Dunes in October. We feel like home, as every single staff member is genuinely taking care of all our needs and even exceeding our expectations. Special thanks to the General Manager, Nikos Ouzounis who is always present. We will certainly return.

Fantastic family holiday at Sani Dunes. Our first time at the resort and certainly won’t be our last. Beautiful private sandy beach, excellent service at the hotel, Esmeralda and Sphresa both did a great job at cleaning our room, the restaurant and pool team was very attentive. I enjoyed the yoga class, what a venue, looking over the sea and Sophia was very good at correcting posture and clear in her teachings. We had great fun trying the tree top adventure. Olga was very helpful. Archery at the sports centre run by the bear grylls instructor was an excellent hour of trying out the new sport to us and well worth a visit The yoga and archery were included free for all guests We had an afternoon private session with George, whom ran the Bear Grylls Survival Experience, as we missed the free course allocation. We learned the principles of 3 for survival, how to read trees to find directions, how to tell the morning or afternoon using sticks, knife skills for making wooden tools and fire lighting skills. This was a fantastic experience and well recommended. George told us of his private sessions of advanced skills which I would definitely recommend finding out more about as these sounded great for adults, teenagers and children. The 50mins massage at the Spa with a trained physio was very relaxing and soothing to my achy back. If you’re hesitating about booking, don’t - just book it, it’s that good!

After another wonderful stay in this unique hotel, we are convinced that we have once again spent our vacation in one of the best holiday resorts in the world. a hotel in which all wishes are fulfilled and you are spoiled. The general manager of dunes and porto Mr.Sakis Spyridopoulos knows exactly how to satisfy his guests. Mr.Nikos Ouzounis, the manager of Dunes as well. Always kind and friendly… a combination of a very clean and beautiful beach, large pools and excellent food, and not to forget the excellent wines! Try the Greek ones! You can choose between a lot of restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner with the huge variety of cuisines. There is something for everybody. We also love to to do a lot of sports, and there you can find a huge program! Our 10 year old son had a lot of fun in the football camp, me and my wife at tennis lessons in Rafael Nadal Tennis Center which we already know from Mallorca and can absolutely recommend it. The resort is located in an untouched nature and pine forest, where you can have lovely walks, jogging and bike tours! And if you think of the price, believe me, it’s worth it!!! Next year again 🥰
