This is by some margin the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The man on check in seemed to be playing the role of unhelpful communist DDR official - possibly the man controlling access to sausages. The room is just as you would imagine jail, including a lavatory with no seat. Once night falls the corridors ring with the sound of people coughing up their lungs, which even drowns out the noise of the motorway. Dresden must be a TB hotspot. There is no bar or restaurant and you need binoculars to see the televiusion from the bed, but there is a lively traffic in ***********. The walls are thin enough to hear them performing their services on various lorry drivers. The place is situated on a windswept vacant lot between several sinister structures that may be slaughterhouses and/or knocking shops. So I can't honestly recomend it.
